CM 13 Nightlys G900F - 4G/LTE signal - Galaxy S 5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I'm having problem with 4g signal after flashing CM 13, i did a full clean install.
I didn't have any problem on CM 12. I tried flashing newer modem, but it didn't help much.
When 4G signal drops, it doesn't change to 3g, it stays on with no signal. And i have to manual change to 3G.
I haven't seen other people that are having problem with 4g on CM13.
Maybe i have to try other modems.

[Q] Carbon rom only 3g?

This is an issue I've always had with this rom. As soon as I flash, I lose my good hspa plus signal and either get bad signal or 3g. I've flashed other roms, and this is not a problem. Normally I use pacman, but due to stability issues with the latest nightlies, I turned to carbon again. If I could maintain hspa+, then I would be a happy camper. I have tmobile, are there any setting that could help, or do I just need to flash the rom again?

LTE on CM roms.

The weirdest thing happens when I flash CM 12 roms. I lose LTE. I have flashed Tamesek's build by Maddog. I also have flashed the Cm 12.1 unofficial rom and Mokee rom. All of these do the same thing. I have checked the APN,'s clicked on LTE, and done what I know to activate LTE but to no avail. Is this a CM bug right now? Are there any others going through this? As of now, only O2 rom keeps LTE working. This is driving me nuts because I would like to run other roms, not O2. Any thoughts on this?

4G/LTE not working on cm 13 based roms

Hello, I've tried a lot of cyanogenmod 13 based roms, even cyanogenmod itself, and 4G never worked on any of them.. I'm on g900f, tried changing apn and it didn't work anyway, any help?
No one knows anything? I've tried AOSP roms, and they don't have LTE working for me either..
Make a clean installation of the latest CM13 SNAPSHOT, I used to have the same issue on the late nightlies but the Snapshot fixed it.
I tried that, but as soon as I flashed a custom kernel it stopped working.. Any ideas why?
I'm on latest 6.0.1 original samsung rom update, and lte/4g option is gone, there is just 2g and 3g options... Also gps is buggy when you turn it on, it automatically sets to high accuracy for spying...
I had to return to stock because lte only works during the initial configuration on AOSP Roms.. That's strange. On stock 4G is perfect..

LTE doesn't work on any cyan/aosp-based ROMs

My device is D820. On stock everything was fine, LTE has worked all over the city. But LTE does not work on any cyan/aosp-based ROMs. I chose different network modes, including LTE-priority, does not work, the connection is completely lost. In addition, the network has become much more likely to disappear.
ROMs I flashed: CM13, ResurrectionRemix last build, Paranoid Android 6.0.3.

Bad 4G/LTE signal when using MM TW port ROM's

When I use a TW based Marshmallow 6.0.1 port from either N5 N7 or S7E the 4G / LTE signal is rather weak 1-3 bars at most.
Flashing a 6.0.1 CM13 ROM shows 5 bars across the board and a Nougat ROM also works with full signal strength.
I'm using baseband N9005XXUGBPI1 which is from a Luxembourg original ROM and i'm in the Netherlands. The XXUGB region code is the same as the Netherlands so it should be fine.
Anyone have any ideas? I'm lost right now..
EDIT: Thanks to a suggestion from ocujos who suggested i checked the actual dBm and asu values from the modem / SIM info i found out there's little difference to be found..
-91dBm 49 asu on Phronesis N7 port (TW 6.0.1 based)
-95 dBm 45 asu on RRN Nougat 5.8.1 (AOSP 7.1.1 based)
So basically, the worse one has better signal.. But it just shows very different amount of bars.
use ressurection rom 5.8.1 android 7.1 with jairus kernel,i dont have any problem with my wifi neither my mobile data. it work flawlessly,if you want still use tw,use the official tw for stability, some of the custom tw contain it own bug

The only reason i dont use RRN 5.8.1 is because I can't get GPS to work properly like many others as of now. If that worked with Google Maps for navigation i would use that ROM 100%. But it doesn't so..

According to these values, TW is reporting correctly.
You can have a full bars signal when it is between -30 (max) and -50dBm.
