U can go to sammobile.com and download the firmware u are looking for and flash using Odin 3.07
If u already flashed omega 7 u myte wanna go to the latest available omega ofcourse it's more optimized and bloatware free Rom rather then using stock firmware
Well it's my opinion you can decide urs

I have searched and searched and everything leads to a dead end.
I want to unroot my S4 running stock rooted [email protected] with TWRP and return to stock with stock recovery.
Can't find a tar file that will allow me to do this through ODIN.
Am I missing something?
Search for the stock OS in sammobile.com and you can download the original firmware and flash it via Odin

Go to the development section and look for the thread from random45. It has a fast download for the mk2 tar file.

To revert back, you will have to manually flash the stock rom using ODIN. That includes manual flashing of bootloader and modem.
This is the link to find your ROM

Hi guys,
A friend of mind got a So from china. Turns out it is rooted which he doesn't need and actually prevents him from using android pay.
So I am looking for an English version that is unlocked but not rooted android and as close as possible to original android as possible. No bells or whistle's.
Which version Is that? I have a hard time finding one.
Thanks so much for your help!!

Samsung stock rom. There are no pure android roms for the I9500.
The closets and probably only rom is official stock. Download odin v3.09 or newer then go to sammobile.com and look for you phone mobile in firmware menu they have the latest stock rom images, once you flash with odin it'll return you completely back to stock, recovery and rom. If you don't know how to flash with odin the Google it my friend:good:

That sounds like a good plan. I did some flashing in the past, with my Note 2.
This is a friends phone (i9500).
However, on sammobile I cannot find anything that is for the US. Only a bunch of other countries. Which one would be the best to use for the US?
Thanks so much!!

That I cannot answer unfortunately, it seems to me there are no us version of the image. But I would recommend a rom called MBP v4, its very close to stock, but without those extra Samsung apps and unnecessary bloatware. Plus no knox If you see root apps such as SuperSU you can easily unroot in the settings of the app
I will check that out, thank you for your help!

There is no USA stock rom for this phone as the phone was never released by Samsung or any carriers for sale in North America.
I would like to back to my stock firmware using the Kies 3 but it gaves me an error like: SM-N9005 does not support initializing.
Can anyone help me?
Download stock rom from sammobile web site. And download odin. You can flash the stock rom with odin easily. There are many topics about stock rom flashing with odin, if you are not sure about what you are doing.
Or download from updato.com and others .
Another place for firmware: https://samsung-firmware.org/fQ/m/476/r/aLL/o/aLL/b/b/d/d/
