Razer Forge TV app store? - Shield Android TV Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

So I was wondering if someone with a Razer Forge TV knows if its Cortex app store is just a normal app or a revamped OUYA app store with some weird OUYA framework that will allow it work. And in saying that if it is just a regular app I was wondering if it would run on the shield ATV. If any one can get the apk onto the shield to test I would love to know as it has some "OUYA" exclusive titles I would love to try on the shield.

Customize Nexus Player

I have been looking for the right android streaming player for me for that last couple months, and have had no luck. I first bought the Nvidia Shield TV, and wasn't pleased with the apps that were available. Then I bought Amazon Fire TV. Thought I would be pleased with that, but found out that the newest firmware is unrootable, so therefore can't customize it. Now I have bought the newest Nexus Player TV. Found it is rootable, but I don't know if it will give me what I want. I want to install the following apps on it and work flawlessly:
Netflix
HBO Go
Max Go
Starz Play
Showtime Anytime
EPIX
Pandora
SNES, NES, Playstation, RetroArch (CaveStory)...etc. emulator apps
I also own a Roku 3 and everything I mentioned above are installed except Starz Play, Max Go, and the emulator apps. They are not available on the Roku 3. At this I'm desperate and don't know if I should take this Nexus player back and buy a rooted Amazon Fire TV off of ebay or Craig's List. Does anybody have any advice for me?

Port Playstation Vue to NP?

I was wondering if we can port the Playstation Vue app from the fire tv to the nexus player. It would make my nexus player allot more useful if I could watch live tv on it.
I sideloaded the app from the Fire TV. It opened properly but wouldn't load, I guess the app knew it wasn't running on the Fire TV. I called the PS Vue customer service and complained to them, hopefully they'll release a native app later. Until then hopefully someone can hack app.

playstation now on nexus?

how you think it's possible get app from sony or samsung tv and put it in nexus and play some ps3 game use this services?
It would be nice. Sony is looking to go into the mobile division. They acquired Onlive. That service could stream fine over wifi. Had one, loved it.. It would be the easy, cool, practical.
I have a Sony TV which had the Playstation Now apk but I can't start it because it's not supported in my country. Anyone interested in the apk ?
I would love the apk. You still got it?

Android TV gaming question

Hi,
Wondering if the nVidia Shield can play the Machinarium game? The Machinarium website says that they sell a version that runs on Android TV. Just wanted to get confirmation that it will work. Also the Samarost series of games.
Thanks,

Of course it works. All games and apps available on the Google play Android tv store are compatible with the shield [emoji452] controller and some games not available on the tv version of the store are also compatible.

Shield TV 16gb with gamepad & War Robots

So I bought this Shield for playing my favorite game War Robots on my TV with a controller. Get home and find it wont even support War Robots to install it. Pretty pissed off about that. Then I notice most games in the android app store wont even work on this device. The older Nvidia shield tablet does play the game and can use the controller. So why the hell did they mess up the new nvidia devices?
Is there a good way to get War Robots onto the shield TV & still use the nvidia controller? I didnt find much in a search online. So I thought Id post. One video came up. But it wasnt explained well enough to me.
I just got the device and haven't done much testing. But.. I downloaded some apps from apk mirror and just installed it, and all of them work in the shield. (use like an USB stick or whatever.)
Hope it helps!
/David
