Hello! Lenovo released a new smartphone 3 months ago, called A1000 (not to be confused with the 2 year old A1000F ideapad). After searching for more than 3 days, i concluded that there are no ways to root this smartphone. I tried:
Kingo root
One click root
Kingroot
Yet none worked. There is also no sub-forum here on xda. Its like this smartphone is invisible to the world.
It runs android Lollipop. You can see its specifications here: gsmarena.com/lenovo_a1000-7605.php (sorry, no links allowed.)
Can someone help me root it? Or some recognition from xda to start a subforum?

Previous models of the Zenpad family had Intel Atom choosers, the z300m is a Mediatek device. It will take to e for development tools to reach us. I'm on this as well
Here are the hardware specs of this device:
This post will be updated with logs as I can make them.
Asus Z300m
Model number P00C
Mediatek MT8163 Quad-core 1.3GHz
2GB RAM
Marshmallow with security patch 5th July 16
I have so far been unable to do a ptrace or manual root via adb, NONE of the tools I have used have gained root

Just got this tablet last week. I'd love to see it get root as well, but can live without it if it never gets root. Thanks in advance to anyone who is working on root for this device.
This model has been out for ages now, so I'm amazed that there is no root?? I would love to get rid of the Asus bloatware - that said it's an amazing tablet for bigger all money!!
Someone has news about rooting it ?
Looking forward rooting it, I really need multi user support.
I need root too. Cheers to anyone working on this.
Has anyone tried to root this device following the Z300C guide?

Have you tried? I don't think it will work. Different CPU. Really sucks because this is a great tablet plagued by Asus crapware.

Would this work with the z300m? Need to move apps to SD as filling up the internal fast!
Still no root?
I got myself a 128gb SD card so I could throw all the apps on it, only to find out when the tablet and SD card arrived that you cant move anything over <_<
So now the card just sits in the tablet doing nothing. So Sad
Still no root for this ????

Asus ZenPad 10 Z300M (P00C) Android 6.0
Has Anyone had any luck finding a way to unlock the bootloader on a Z300M (P00C) (marshmallow 6.0, Android security patch level 1 December 2016)
I'm trying to root it so I can change the ROM on it to the new Android 7.1 . I've been reading all the post in hear about it, Tried all the intel stuff (no joy) KingRoot doesn't work, Won't pay OneClick.. Came across some dodgy webpage with a program called Autoroot tools V3.0 Which wants you to install some software first before it lets you download the program....... very suspect.. so no. Back to square one No Unlocked Bootloader, no root....... can anyone help ?
I am currently running Android 5.0 with the official EU Rom LRX21M.5.0.0-EU1.1.124b and am looking for an easy and safe way of rooting my YD201 phone.
I saw a video on YouTube that "claims" it is possible to root the YD201 with CF-Auto-Root.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=67ymFf2-Ty8
That tool can be found on XDA here:
https://www.xda-developers.com/cf-auto-root-updated-with-support-for-over-300-devices/
It looks good and easy, but the Yotaphone 2 is NOT listed there as being compatible and I do not want to brick my phone.
https://autoroot.chainfire.eu/ List of compatible phones.
Has anyone tried this and if not, what is the best way to root the phone?
Would it be better to wait for Marshmallow to be officially released before trying this?
Regards
Peter
Moto G is an Android smartphone developed and manufactured by Motorola Mobility. It was released on 13 November 2013, and it was initially aimed at emerging markets, although it is also available in developed markets as a low-price option. After six months on the market, the Moto G became Motorola's best-selling smartphone ever, and was the top selling phone in Mexico and Brazil.
Later on, Android 5.1 update was announced for Moto G, but Motorola disappointed the users by not updating the device to Android 5.1.1.
Moto G performed best on Android Kitkat (4.4.4), but users were excited to see Android Lollipop on their device. However, when Android Lollipop arrived on their devices they were not happy because :
i) the update came with performance issues such as lags and battery/memory leaks;
(ii) moreover, Android 5.1.1, which was supposed to be a fix to these issues, was not going to be available for this device.
So many of the users decided to downgrade it to Android 4.4.4. But unfortunately, after successfully flashing Android 4.4.4, the automatic OTA updates, hard bricked most of the devices which were downgraded. The devices looked dead and were only recognized by PC as "qhsusb_bulk".
Almost every user tried hands on the device to recover it, even I did but I was unsuccessful like others as there was no fastboot file available for this device because Motorola didn't release any.
I also consulted XDA forums but I was disappointed. There were methods available on internet which were useless. People started petitions asking Motorola to release the files but still no files were available.
I kept trying hands on the device to recover it and finally after 1 year, I successfully managed to recover my device, somehow, and it is working again, properly. Thanks to another XDA thread.
Here is the link to XDA thread which helped me recover my device : http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g/help/how-to-unbrick-moto-g-falcon-t3394788
If any of the Moto G user wants to recover his/her dead Moto G, he/she must visit the link given above.
I hope it will also work for you guys.

I made a bad update of the system, my Xt1032 was left as a brick, but with a tutorial that I followed, I managed to activate it in fasboot mode, but since there it only stays in "failed to initialize partition table" and does not allow me to install anything, is there any way To recover it, for there lei that in the xt1033 could do it with some file that you published, there is something similar for my model beforehand thank you very much (excuse if it is written badly or expressed some phrase, is that I only speak Spanish and I use translator for To write in English
Hello
I have tried in every way to root my old note 3 with android 5.0 v. baseband PL1 with all the options I found here, to install [6.0.1] [N7 / N8 / S8 Port] MagMa-NX VX1 that I found here .. the truth I could not, use all options: King rott , odin v3.0 and nothing. I clarify that I am not an expert in this world of releasing telephones, but I can follow orders, if a video or some post that I have not read would help me a lot.
I know it's an old terminal, but it's from my mother and she does not want to buy another one. While this works, the least I can do is to update it.
Hey, all im new into the world of rooting and i have a couple of question regarding rooting
I have a device Huawei p smart FIG-LX1 with android 9 and i would like to root it but the guides on the internet always says something different, so im kinda tangled with this whole thing, i found this post https://forum.xda-developers.com/huawei-p-smart/how-to/how-to-root-huawei-p-smart-fig-lx1-t3752705
but i dont understand it
Hello Panieldakula
You want to root your Huawei P Smart (FIG-LX1 with Android 9) but it seems difficult to do, right?
Have you tried a one button rooting software? It did not work or why do you want to do it manually?
These "one button rooting" solutions are usually fake/malware or only work up to Android M.
If there is any tool to flash stock firmware like there are for Samsung and Qualcomm devices maybe it's possible to flash a signed TWRP to recovery and then use Magisk to root.
I have done this to other devices in the past although only for devices that came with Lollipop or Marshmallow. ButI have searched for such tool and didn't find anything for P Smart, maybe someone that has more experience with Huawei device can point to some solution.

Thank you lfom,
I hope you are right and someone can point the new guys to the right direction.
Similar to Panieldakula I am new to rooting and the instructions given by Veromax seem not to be too user-friendly.
Well, if no other manual exist I might go through the instructions line for line.
However, there are probably easier general manual I could start with, or?
Do you or does someone have a recommendation?
Thanks.
AFAIK the only way to root and install TWRP so far is by using the unlock code that only works with an earlier version of MIUI 8.1.
