USB to ethernet - Redmi Note 2 General

Does are phone support USB to ethernet?

I guess it doesnt depend on the phone at all, it depends on the SoC that supports OTG (Helio X10 does), and also depends on android if it support ethernet via USB. Try to google about the last thing, but dont search for a specific phone, just android.

Air View won't work because the libraries have been removed by Samsung. However, I strongly believe that it can be re-enabled if some developer looked into it. As for the IR blaster, it's been confirmed to work with some external apps. About the rest, you'll need to wait until someone actually gets the phone! It doesn't ship till the 9th.
What do you mean how external SD is implemented? As it's implemented on Nexus devices...
what about smart bluetooth? is it working in 4.2.3?

ZE551KL - No 5GHz WiFI

Well, the specs of Asus Zenfone 2 Laser ( ZE551KL - US) say abut WiFi: "WLAN 802.11 b/g/n" . And indeed, only the 2.4GHz band is working, nothing in 5GHz.
On the other hand, Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 MSM8939 is supposed to work with "Qualcomm® VIVE™ 1-stream 802.11n/ac with MU-MIMO†" - with the note "† Digital integrated in SoC, Analog added via additional chip".
Note that "ac" (5GHz) is listed. So Asus really didn't add the required analog portion for the 5GHz? Or is something that might be enabled with a future driver?
I seem to remember reading before I bought it that it couldn't do 5ghz Wi-Fi, but idk if that rules out future support or not.

My older MotoX first gen could do 5GHz. In today's crowded WiFi its a big let down.

I thought the SOC just had the interface for those components, but that a module was necessary to actually use it. the 615 may have the interface for 2.4Ghz BGN / 5Ghz AC, but you still need the hardware (usually in the form of a single WiFi/Bluetooth/NFC/FM/etc module).
I could be wrong, though.

GNSS Galileo on Zenfone 3 (ZE520KL)?

Answer:
It is not possible. Because according to a statement of support Asus is necessary processor purchased with support functions that you want to run. Additionally, it is no longer possible.
Thanks Asus! :crying:
Z.
Sure? Because I read the ze520kl Snapdragon processor is supported.

Did you read what I wrote? Asus did not pay for this function. Therefore, it is locked permanently.
Z.
Yes, I understand but since the processor is supported perhaps by changing rom you can enable
Currently only two smartphone are enabled
BQ Aquaris X5 Plus and Huawei Mate 9
But the ze520kl chipset is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625

Yes, the processor supports it but also supports additional features such as Quick Charge, NFC, etc... this also can not be subsequently put into operation.
I give only information obtained from Asus services. I'm glad to be wrong.

Android go is designed to run smooth at smartphones with less of 1gb of ram..
