Just want to see what some people have done with their head units. Post a pic and the launcher, etc. Info that you're using. Thanks!

This is my Pumpkin quad core A9 in my 2013 Silverado, it fit like a glove and I only have one problem the 1gb user data partition I'm thinking about flashing Malylask's ROM for the 2 gb partition. I've been a chronic flasher of all my Android devices since 08 but I'm a little cautious with this, has any one flashed theirs?

Hello everybody.
I am currently arguing with a seller about the product he shipped to me. It's clearly a fake I9500, as it says DUAL CORE and 480mb of RAM.
I want to show him a comparison with an original i9500 phone. Could please attach a screenshot made with Android System Info or something similar? Where he can see Exynos processor info, and correct RAM amount?
Thank you very much. I'm pretty sure I'll win this fight :highfive:

Thank you guys. You made my day
It was a fake S4. Thank you so much!
I've looked through all the wikis and googled what the Russians have done and tried a couple of different SoFIA ROMs to no affect.
What on earth is this thing? I bought it as the seller claimed it was a PX3...which was totally wrong.

You have an fyt unit...BETTER than px3...no need to use mtcd stuff...check the gtx ROM thread...
Thanks! I'll check it out.
I bought this head unit (new apparently) and it looked like it had previous owners stuff on it so i system restored it and now it looks different. No bluetooth icon or tv icon.
Is there firmware anywhere or anything else that could help?
Where have you searched, what have you found or tried so far. Post details of your unit, brand and model number mean very little.

Problems faced:
-ultraslow in general as it shouldnt concerning pretended specs
-no dimming of the display
-2/3 of display size keyboard and no way to shrink this
-feeling like first attempt of running Android at all...
-...and so on...
The rk3368 should be a PX5 device with MTCD.
I think you should rather describe your problems here:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/f/mtcd-android-head-units-q-a.5388/
or
https://forum.xda-developers.com/f/mtcd-android-head-units-general.7378/
OK. Thank you!
Can anyone identify this launcher? Is it stock Android? As you can see, only 3 icons per page is not an efficient use of the space available. Where is the configuration for this? The pics on the AliExpress site for this and similar units generally show 5 icons per screen.
BTW I describe the device in question here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/trying-to-identify-a-uis8581-unit.4526421/#post-88196651
Thanks.

find on internet or youtube how to change UI of device for your device ZLH_BZL221030A_8581_13
This is the problem: It's not a known unit - no MCU ZLH results on this forum, either.
Try at this thread , your unit seems to be FY unit...
https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...unisoc-ums512-q-a-mods-tips-firmware.4396339/
You have processor uis 8581
So try to look by this term "uis8581a"
Already done that, and many other searches based on the system information. I've been through the thread you suggest. According to the OP's app linked in that thread. it's not an FYT unit.
I don't know what kind of device it would be, if your seller knows ask him to identify and receive update for it.
