Hello All,
Have been searching the forums but could not find out if the bootloader on the Oppo Find 5 needs to be unlokced before flashing a recovery, if so is it fastboot oem unlock.
Thanks
*bootloader came unlocked on mine

I need the stock recovery from a Dev Ed. G900V to flash over TWRP to get out of my boot lock.
Does anyone have one?
otherwise this phone is an expensive paperweight!!!

PM me, I think I can help.
I need to know about the full process to unroot and re-lock bootloader process and also is this necessary to lock bootloader for OTA update? Help me please

Unroot is required, bootloader lock is not required.
Read this post.
If I have flashed moto e stock android so do I need to do anything else for the ota update?

If you flashed stock ROM, did not flash a custom recovery (CWM, TWRP) and did not root, then you can receive OTA updates. Bootloader lock/unlock does not matter.
Custom recovery is installed so I have to use firmware?

If you flashed the stock ROM then you already have stock recovery, UNLESS after you flashed the stock ROM you then flashed a custom recovery.
I have flashed zip ROM using custom recovery

You have to install stock ROM using this or this guide. Finding the stock ROM for your device variant is not easy, in my case i had to request for it in this thread (stock ROMs used to be here but they are not there any more).
Thanks nd last think can u provide me rom link which actually works?

My variant is XT1021, yours must be XT1022 as you are from India, so i can't share my stock ROM with you.
You could request stock ROM for your variant at firmware-team.com or droidevelopers.com but sadly both are no longer online. (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=53619330&postcount=35).
Post a request for your stock ROM in this thread and hopefully @lost101 can help you out.

I tried locking the bootloader in the past, to test if it works, there was an error "sst lock failure" (i retried several times, always the same error).
I searched for a solution and didn't find anything that works, i believe that after unlocking the bootloader on a Moto device there is no way to lock it.

Some report that they locked it successfully, others report that they weren't able to lock it, as i wrote above in my case locking the bootloader wasn't possible.
I found mentions of the "sst lock failure" error in many XDA threads for all Moto devices (Moto E, G, X), so it's not only the Moto E that is affected by this issue.

bootloader can be locked but still the irritating bootloader unlocked startup flash screen remains. You can lock the bootloader but it gets the device status 3 instead of 0. which means your warranty has been voided completely.

Hey guys I cannot enable oem unlocking on my device in developer options. It just doesn't allows me to do thet stuff eith my device. However the bootloader itselt is unlocked and it also displays when i restart the device. I just wanted to ask as if I can flash any custom recovery/root the device or flash a custom kernel ? Will I be safe with that ? Or else I also need to unlock OEM in developer options as well.
flash ek, i had this problem too and solved it

you can try flashing a custom recovery, if it's really unlocked it will work, if it doesn't, it'll just say command not allowed and nothing else

Its for op3/t but use the correct files for op5
First download the stock recovery from here and flash it via fastboot.
Then download the image here, follow the instructions there to sideload the image and install it.
Finally once you're sure you have the stock OOS properly installed and the stock recovery installed. Relock the bootloader via:
Code:
fastboot oem lock
And you're done.
Thanks guys, helped me out!
One love
