If you got a fresh MXPE with LP on it in what order would you copy over your Google account stuff, update to MM, and do a factory reset?
Thanks!

Hi all, I was wondering if I do a factory reset will it affect my FW updates? Will it downgrade back to when I bought it? Thx
Nope, the Factory Reset just delete all your personal data (setting, contacts, etc...) and your FW is stay same
I have updated my yureka. after successful upgrade to lollipop 5.0.2 when I try to factory data reset by setting's- back up & reset-factory data reset then phone restarts and saying ANDROID IS UPGRADING and installing apps out of 127 or 122...it will always comes when I done the factory data reset
It takes much time...
What's the problems..?
Please help..?
Good morning. A little help needed here. Just got a XT 1575 from Craigslist. It is the 16 gigabyte version and is running marshmallow 6.0. It looks like the bootloader is unlocked but it is not rooted. When I go into settings to do a factory reset the phone just reboots. When I go to bootloader screen and try to go into stock recovery from there it just reboots after I select recovery. It doesn't go to the no command screen.
And I should be clear that the phone is not break. I can get into the OS but I cannot perform a factory data reset. It still has previous owners set up
What happens if you attempt to remove the previous owner's Google account?
Thank you for the reply. I have already successfully remove that account and logged in on my own. I installed supersu just so I could confirm that it wasn't actually rooted. already.
Here is my question. I want to reset my rooted Nexus 6P and hand it down to my wife. i'm completely fine with it being rooted but does that force me to wipe everything through TWRP, including internal storage, and push the rom vendor & google apps via adb again? or can i just do a factory data reset through the settings and hand it over? We will be running the same rom after fyi. Any knowledge is appreciated.

Remove your account from within Android then factory reset in TWRP. Now fastboot flash a factory image. If she plans on using her own email and etc, that's the best step so that she can add her own account and start fresh.

Hey,
In the settings, backup and reset, suddenly the feature to automatically backup is greyed out. I encountered this after I factory resetted and came back to an 11 day old backup. Logged in with Google account, check boxes are ticked, the feature to choose an account to backup though, is greyed out?
Factory reset didn't help, everything sync wise is on.
I'm on stock OOS 4.5.5, elementalX 1.04, Magisk root.
Should I flash something like Gapps file? I used this on a Galaxy S3 with AOSP ages ago.. But idk if it's safe to do in this situation.. Because factory reset isn't working the bug is within the stock Gapps I think.
Thanks!

Had the same issue, strange to say but after installed Google drive on the pc, connected the op5 and choose to backup it as suggest from Google drive on pc made the trick. Now I can see my phone backup and the phone update it regularly. Hope this could help. In any case weird, I never had this issue with any of my previous android phones.
