GT-N8010 Jelly Bean 4.1.1 finally landed!

Okay, so, I've been monitoring the sammobile website for quite some time now, waiting for the 4.1.1 release on the WiFi only model of our lovely note. And, I left it for a few days. To my surprise - IT'S OUT! It hit Germany, first. And now Taiwan. Link for the German build on sammobile is below.

Nope. The 8010 doesn't have telephony in it, so the official build has it all removed. And yeah, I realise this probably should have been in the general section. I'm a bit of a failure some times, haha.

I haven't been round the forums for this yet, been clinging to my SGSIII, so apologies if I make myself look like an idiot, will 8010 ROMs work on the 8013? I've seen some devs posting for multiple models, so not positive.

Am I missing something?
Not sure if I've missed a trick here, but hasn't the German N8010 firmware been available since early December?
I'm still waiting for the official UK release via Kies...your post built up my hopes only to dash them as soon as read the thread...lol

WOW, if You happen to live on planet Earth ( 3rd from the sun ) , you would know that this was released on the 3rd of December ,
& if you would like to have a decent life that N 8000 owners are enjoying , then you may be interested to know that those people are enjoying
Android 4.1.2 for more than one Week now !

Thanks for the heads up. The only firmwares that i could find were modded versions of the german firmware. Now i can use odin to flash the official 8010 firmware to my 8013. I checked recently and did not see this official firmware on samobile, until now. So give the guy a break people.

I believe it was the Mayans who predicted all Note 10.1's would be running 4.1.2 by the end of the year....... Oh please don't tell me they got that one wrong as well!

Just changing your Rom from sense to CM will not enable you to get the lollipop ota.... NOT even flashing a gpe Rom will do that... U have to actually do the full GPE conversion to be able to do that.

You have full instruction on how to do that?

I might get gpe updates for this without manually changing it? Because I'm waiting for android Lollipop.

You won't get the update unless you're running stock gpe. I'm sure someone around here will make a rom of it for us tho.

Im currently running 'GPE and waiting for the OTA. If i can get my hands on it, i´ll upload it, but i think
somebody will be faster due the way of getting chosen for the update in the first days.

There will most likely be a rom built from source before the OTA is out. That has been the way this update has gone. The source is uploaded first before the OTA is pushed. HEck the nexus 4 had the source and img files uploaded for almost 2 days before the OTA was pushed out.

haha, yep i already got that, battery consumption seems to be a bit high though. However, Lollipop is awesome, totally worth it.
Can't wait to see Sinless Rom bump to Lollipop.

Lollipop update on July for Honor 6 by huawei india

Huwai india confirms that EMUI 3.0 for honor 6 in this month and lollipop will be July.
For referwnce pls see the attachment.

Have faith If they release a Lollipop version for any Honor 6 we will most likely get CM12 if codeworkx is up for it.

It says June 2015 will be in beta testing phase in China for Honor6! If @codeworkx get it, soon we probably having CM12! :victory:
