someone with EMEA_GEN3 received the 3.1 update?

Nope.....Was sick of waiting. So i decided to install the updates via CWM . Now i have a 39_COM_GEN_1 flexrom. Everything performs really smooth now. No problems so far. I have no idea why tablets with EMEA_GEN_3 are still not getting updates..

I didn't got any update (the only one was pulled out, is here in XDA but is still 3.01).
I was tired to wait so I went for the 3.1 the vache way (1.010.22_COM_GEN1), now I'm COM_GEN1 so I'm gettting USA updates, already got .30 and .38 OTA, very happy user thanks to XDA and it's people/developes/contribuitors.
BTW in LA. (Mexico and Chile) are getting EMEA_GEN3 devices, though were not in the list weird because EMEA = Europe Middle East Africa.... or America?... Oceania (Australia) are getting EMEA too.

I have the manufactured date ( May/2011 )... but there's no print of "operating countries"...etc

Same here no update yet, so installed 3.1 custom, happy with less FC and freezes.

No updates here...will wait till next week...then flash it!

nothing yet here at Mexico, but I was told by an Acer's marketing guy, over facebook, that they pulled out the update due to the Wi-Fi issues, but probably today (Friday) they would release it again with the fix in place.

Still not getting anything here in Finland and it's already 19th.

I have the same build in Switzerland and I too am still waiting on 3.1. I have no serious issues with 3.0.1 so have decided to wait, although my patience is starting to wear out...

Still nothing.

By any chances do you have the backup of your stock partitions (disk images)? I'm looking for them to get my a500 back to stock 1.105.01-emea-gen3, my tab was bougth in mexico, from the label in the back of the box model is XA500-10S16m part no. XE.H60PN.004 listed countries: PA MX.

15 mb firmware update today. Whats new?

Just used manual update in my german note and had a 15 mb firmware. Doesn't break root. Any word whats new? Still at 2.3.6.

Yep, same here ... Mine's an unbranded, unlocked UK note (XEU) and I'm getting nothing through Kies or manual update on the phone. Still on KKA.

I'm in the UK and got the OTA update yesterday. I'm running a German unlocked Note from Expansys UK. Cant see any differences though tbh. :/

I am in the UK and got the update on day one via kies.bought phone from Amazon.de

The update is only for german Notes. You can get it by manually download it and flash it. Did it myself yesterday.

How is it possible to receive official updates (stock roms) without flashing?
Please do not start telling me to read guides and so on... I worked on Android platform and after this experience I am aware how preparing roms and custom stuff is obviously a great challenge, gives you great satisfaction, but makes the phone be more prone to crashes, memory leaks and so on.

I'm sure you were joking but this actually does raise a point that people should take into consideration:
If the phone is bought from the UK but the firmware is German, then it will get German upgrades. If it's bought from amazon.de and has Chinese firmware then it will only get Asian upgrades.
It doesn't matter where you buy the phone from, it matters what country the firmware is directed at. I also own a UK note which has BRI as the sales code and I don't have any update even though I live in Finland.

Its the OTA Update and in Many countries it is also termed as the Download Android 4.0.4 I9300XXBLG8. Itwas the Most successful update of the Galaxy s3 i9300 Series. Many reported the Demerits of this official ROM. Demerit was the touch-viz interface, Galaxy s3 Users were expecting the new Integrated Touch-viz Interface. Keeping all this in Mind, Samsung Just released the Test Official Jelly-Bean Stable Firmware XXDLI2 Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean OTA, so as to test this. Samsung claimed that its Integrated with the new Touch-viz customizations.
This Update will only be available for the European Customers and will be the Part of the OTA update. So make to make this globally, you have to flash this ROM manually with the help of the ODIN. If you are not Rooted then No need to worry as this is the Official ROM, so you don’t need Rooting to Install this ROM.
Disclaimer Pop: All the tools, MOD’s or ROM’s described below belong to their respected owners/developers. I doubt it's real (or correct anyway) - the whole story contradicts itself, like referring to Android 4.1.4 (which doesn't exist) and then mentioning 4.1.1 (correct). And I don't understand why they'd mention XXDLI5 which is the OTA we've just received on here, but suggest that it's also known as "Android 4.0.4 I9300XXBLG8"? Just smacks to me of someone suddenly reading something they think is "new", then misguided gathering of what they think is related news about it, and excitedly pushing the story out.

The D means it's a development version, i.e. a leak.

We have 2 leaks left before the official firmware rolls out; 16 and 17. So that means we'll get it sometime this week. Also, not everyone will get it at once. You have to press update oh so many times for it to realize you're serious about upgrading. Those who really want it will get it first. At least that was the case for the Nexus Jellybean OTA. Users had press like 5 times for it to upgrade.

Again I think you may be right this is what I said in the other thread...
In Australia there are Pre-orders going on for the new Samsung Galaxy LTE QUAD +2 GB Ram and delivery Date set for the 20th September. Which I have Ordered the Titanium Grey 32GB unlocked version of someone I know . And On the specs it says Software - 4.1.1 JELLY BEAN.. I asked one of the customer service and they confirmed it will be shipped with the new 4.1.1 Jelly bean. So 100% the official will be out atleast 1week before the 20th which is approximately 12th September and apparently there is an event on the 12th.. sounds plausible

Yes, they changed it but still it is a different PDA and CSC. Also it is the first one that has a 2013 date.

Kinda annoyed that every country is rolling out Jelly Bean but the USA. Even their new Note 10.1's are getting Jelly Bean. It's so inconsistent. Thanks Samsung. I should just cave it and load one of these roms.

so even though the dev is still left wide open, it appears whatever chainfire was doing with his root exploit doesn't work anymore.
and on further investigation it appears this kernel uses the same patch that samsung used for the S3, so there's quite a chunk of security patches in there

1. This is a 4.1.1 rom.
2. There actually was a N8013 leak a few days ago for region XAR, which is Canada & USA, or really any are using the 8013 model number. I think Darkman released a deodexed version of it maybe.
3. I just polled a few BM sites & saw that there are Nexus 10's testing JDP66 build of 4.2.2
4. I love my Note 10.1, but really am glad I received the Nexus 10 to see the latest incarnations of Android!

The official 4.1.2 update for UK has arrived ota.
Just updated it and works ok. Not done full test yet.
