My WIn 7 os is seeing the ZE551KL as a bluetooth device. SHouldn't it be seen as a MTP USB device? I tried to update drivers manually from asus site but they will not take.

So, I cant seem to be able to connect my G2 to the PC via USB cable. I get "usb device not recognized" error, and when looking for the device via LGPC Suite, it says driver not installed and attempts to re-install the driver to no avail. Im using Win 7 64 bit. Here's what Ive done to attempt to fix it:
Tried uninstalling and reinstalling both the driver and LGPC Suite in my normal user account and in admin admin account.
Redownloaded both driver and LGPC Suite and doing the above.
Tried 3 different USB cables.
Tried 2 different USB ports.
Yes, Im changing the connection options on the phone from MTP and LG Software.
Phone charges normally over USB.
I *can* however connect to LGPC Suite via wifi successfully.
Any ideas? Im stumped.

Sorry for bumping old thread, but have you found a solution? I found my self in exactly same situation as you describe.
Phone is in LG Software mode
LG Suite can find the phone over Wi-fi, other modes work through USB.
Tried on two different computers, with win7/win8 respectively.
Stock EU ROM, just bought it.
Tried different USB ports.
Yet PC doesn't recognize it :/
EDIT: Never mind, solved it by following the following instructions in another thread:

You must be on 64 bit windows. Not even on 64bit, Still try this...
1) Uninstall LG Drivers, LG PC Suite and anything you see named LG. Restart PC.
2) Install latest LG Driver from this post (step 4)
3) Install Optional MTP Driver from this post (step 4)
4) Open Windows Device Manager (just to watch whats happening.)
5) Disconnect Internet (To avoid stupid online WDM drivers)
6) Connect phone with Usb and let drivers install automatically. Give it some time to install drivers keeping watch on Device Manager window.
7) Keep changing USB connect modes to all modes one-by-one on Phone and let drivers install.
You should see MTP drivers installed now. If this does not help, cant think of anything else. If this works, press THANKS button
EDIT: Connect USB at backside of pc, directly to USB on pc motherboard.

Trying to connect my LG G2 to my Acer Aspire V laptop and I cant get anything out of it. I've installed the drivers from LG's website, I've tried installing LG pc suite(works via wifi. The phone thinks its connected via usb but the software doesn't see it). I've also tried manually selecting various LG drivers and it still won't come up. My laptop is windows 8. On my windows 7 desktop the first time I plugged it in it came up like a usb drive and connected perfectly to LG Suite.
Any suggestions? I am with bell.

Other than trying to completely deinstall all drivers, software, and then installing PC Suite again, I don't think there is a lot you can do.
Does Windows give any sort of notification about Device problems, or failing to install drivers?
I am trying to upgrade a relative's Nexus 7 (2012) to 5.0. It is rooted so the OTA is not working.
When I try to plug it in to a Windows PC, it simply charges with no recognition from the computer or the tablet. There's no change in the device manager. I have tried several usb cables and Windows 7 and 8.1. I have played around with USB debugging and MTP/PTP.
So, I cannot use adb/fastboot to upgrade the device.
Are there steps I can take to rectify this issue? Is it currently possible to upgrade the device some other way? (losing root or TWRP is fine as long as it updates)
Thanks.
When I enable android debugging on my LG G3 d855 phone (Cyanogenmod 12.1) and plug it into my PC (using a good USB cable), Windows 7 says it can't install drivers for the device with the error "no driver found". I tried installing some drivers but they don't seem to have worked. Can anyone point me to exactly which drivers I need to do adb debugging of the phone?
Hi all, I have bought a second hand t00j however it seems that when i connect it to the computer via usb, it is not listed anywhere, but it is still charging. I tried different USB ports. I have tried with one windows and one linux computer. The phone is in MTP mode, I have the latest intel drivers. It is not showing up in the devices tab on windows. I tried enabling usb debugging. I opened the phone to make sure the connector ribbons between the usb board, the sim card and the mombo are connected properly. Please help.
