Hey guys, can anyone tell me how to install xposed on my SM-N900 RUNNING lollipop 5.0, i only have root and no custom recovery
Can anyone just tell me the correct file to flash? And I'll find a tutorial to Install a custom recovery
Thanks…
Both are very easy to do. Just visit the actual Xposed topic of Arter, http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/unofficial-xposed-samsung-lollipop-t3113463
I am sure TWRP is available for Exynos devices, but please do a Google search by your own, cause I don't own the Exynos mode, so can't be sure.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 G900R7 rooted with towelroot. I want to flash twrp custom recovery but I'm not sure which way I should do this. I tried to use twrp's Google play app but it didn't have my phone's "codename". I had a rooted s4 with twrp and cm so I'm not a complete newbie. I just need a little help figuring out how I should do this.
Please help.
So far, only Dev. Edition S5 with an unlocked bootloader can flash a custom recovery like TWRP. More than likely you have yourself a retail version of the phone with a locked bootloader like the rest of us. The closest to a custom recovery we can get is Safestrap. I dont really know if the g900r7 is identical to the g900v so i would use caution of you want to try any of the methods here in this forum for root or to flash safestrap. A quick google search for your phone didnt provide much detail about it.
Hi everyone,
Can someone help me with going from Verizon stock rooted 4.4.2 to Lollipop stock rooted? I've been looking around the forums and they all have different instructions and some are pretty old so I'm not sure if it's the best method. I kind of want to install AryanMod or Jasmine but it sounds like I need to move to stock first. Is that right? I do have some Xposed modules installed btw.
Also, any recomendations on ROMs would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!
Jeff Sauvageau
Are you able to install AryaMod on a Verizon Note 3? I didn't see anyone reporting success in that thread.
As far as I know, the way to upgrade to LP from 4.4.2 and keep root is to go the JasmineROM upgrade route. Following hsbadr's instructions for flashing the base ROM (5.0). Then you can dirty flash to 5.02 which has MultiSystem support. Once you get MultiSystem running, you can run the most updated version of JasmineROM and use Xposed all you want. I wouldn't risk running Xposed on anything but the virtual ROM unless you're a big risk taker, because permanent root loss is one boot loop away.
Okay, I'll look at the instructions on the Jasmine thread and have a go at it. Thanks for the advice!

Find twrp here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2494245
Get the latest 2.8.7 or any 2.x.x 4.4 .tar.
Then get SuperSu flashable. You can google that.
Flash twrp with odin.
Flash SuperSU.zip with twrp.
It's rooted.
If you want to flash a custom rom just flash the rom of your choice in twrp. No need to flash supersu.zip to root it first. Anyhow no harm if you still did.
In odin do not touch anything. Just link the twrp .tar file in pda/ap tab.
There are a lot of tutorials on how to root and install custom rom in the web if you're not sure. Do not attempt anything if you're not sure.

i've noticed the tool "CF-Auto-Root" is not compatible with the SM-G900V(Verizon Galaxy S5) phone model, does anyone know why this is? And if anyone is aware of a tool that could root said phone running 6.0.1 could you please comment the tool
Thanks for your time
Currently there is no way to root stock mm on s5 verizon
but you can be rooted on lollipop and bootloader unlock on lollipop
then install custom recovery then install a prerooted mm ROM that is currently the only way
