I have a i337 S4 (att), and I use it in Brazil, under Claro service.
it's LTE frequency is 2.6ghz / band 7
According to samsung its compatible:
Frequencies and Data Type LTE: Bands 1/2/4/5/7/17; HSPA+/UMTS: 850/1900/2100MHz; GSM: 850/900/1800/1900MHz
However... My device came with MF3 (android 4.2), then I installed shostock 2.0 (android 4.2), and used it for over an year without problems, including LTE.
Problem began when i decided it's time for an upgrade..
I did a odin restore to MK2, then installed latest goldeneye rom over it, following all the instructions. LTE stopped working.
I got desperate, tryied restoring to MF3, found out its impossible.
Restored to stock MK2, no LTE..
Tried 8.1i shostock, no joy
Restore to stock MK2 again, then installed shostock 3.1, which is based on android 4.3, and i wouldnt have to run any workarounds to get to 4.4, i dont really care about having the latest android version.
Still no LTE. Right after that i tried flashing modems. tried MF3 and MJ9 modems... still the same..
What the hell is going wrong? I'm so used to LTE speeds that I find my phone useless without it.
any help would be apreciated, thanks.
best,
Felipe

anyone?
Hey Guys,
Completely lost track of how the Android scene works while being on iOS for three years. I rooted my Note 3 LTE (SM-N9005) and now won't get updates even though unrooted and flash stock recovery etc. My question is:
Can I flash for example 5.0 Lollipop Vodafone (UK) even though I am with T-Mobile (Hutchison 3G UK)? If yes would there be any issues doing this?
Thanks.
Anything please?
Does anyone know where to download stock firmware for N910W8 Telus Canadian Note 4? I downloaded multiple different ones from SamMobile and other websites, every Telus one I downloaded is actually Bell Baseband. So I get like literally 1 bar on my Telus carrier sim card on 6.0.1, but when I throw in my Bell sim card I get 4/5 bars. Can anyone help? I get -110 ~ -120 dBm signal strength on my Telus and -60 on Bell
Right now the basband version is N910W8VLU1DPE2.
I don't mind if the stock firmware is 4.4.4, as long as it's pure stock and it's TELUS so I can just OTA update it.
Hi there, I would like to know if other people are having signal problems after the MM update. I am on Tmobile on a AT&T Unlocked Priv that WAS working perfect (signal strength wise) when it was on Lollipop. Since I upgraded by OTA to MM using a friends Simcard my signal is a mess. It cycle between LTE , 4G, 3G, EDGE all the way to GSM (G). And when I hit the road it stay in EDGE most of the time. That didn't happen in Lollipop and have never happened in my Nexus 6 and Nexus 6P. So is no TMO signal, is something that AT&T or Blackberry change on the modem firmware.
I tried to flash the old modem (lollipop) but it won't boot and told me the data was encrypted and corrupted and needed to wipe my phone. I flashed back the MM modem and booted. I flashed the TMo modem and I don't think it is sticked or maybe is it just the same one. Can you reply with your baseband numbers. Mine is MPSS.BO.2.6.2.c2-0007-M8994FAAAANAZM-1.55185.2
Any help will be very appreciated.
I was wondering. I have the T-Mobile S7 Edge and when I get it unlocked could I flash almost any stock firmware that is based on the Qualcomm varent?
Like go from T-Mobile's Stock to AT&T's stock rom?
Correct.
After you flash your desired USA Qualcomm variant stock rom, be sure to flash your desired carrier's modem over the freshly flashed rom. This would ensure that all your LTE bands are not only firing correctly, but optimally because the incorrect modem parameters will cause battery drain.

You may flash unlimited more times as you please. So long as only Official Samsung firmwares are used, KNOX will never be triggered.
I have flashed countless times on my S7E and it hasn't broke yet lol. I am running TMO 7.0 Nougat firmware on my Verizon branded S7E (SM-G935V) right now.
In a few weeks, I'm planning to gift it to my friend for her birthday. Since she has AT&T, I will simply download and flash the latest AT&T 7.0 Nougat firmware via Odin. If she decides to change carrier to Verizon or TMobile later on, I would just have to help her reflash the corresponding firmware via Odin. No biggy whatsoever. :cyclops:
