HD2 crashes when adjusting in call volume

Hi all.
Im having a bit of a problem with my HD2. Whenever im in a call if i adjust the volume the earpiece goes dead, starts making a quiet buzzing noise and cuts the other person off. If you want to call the person back the phone wont let you back into the phone menu, and starts to act all strange and slow and you have to pull the battery off. I have been searching the forums for a solution but i havent found one yet. I have even flashed 3 different Roms to see if that fixes the problems but no.
Please HELP!!!
Adam.
i had exactly same problem, so tried another rom. and everything ok. but i did do a task 29 first.....try doing that then re-flashing your rom.
Don't forget to change radio to a compatible one with the rom.
Cheers you guys. At least im not the only one who has had this problem Phew. I will try what you both have said and see if it solves the problems! Thanks again.
YAY Fixed. Cheers you guys for all your help!!

please specify what solved the problem for you so that other people going through the forum and its threads can get some idea and so that this thread gets meaningful "closure".
lets try to avoid using the forum as personal tech support, and instead add information where necessary so that it can truly be the knowledge base it aims to be.
Don't get any info
Fido. I don't get any info from this thread. This user has opened up a thread and after some time he is saying that Ok my problem solved. What this thread can give others in terms of knowledge and info - Nothing but time waste.

[Q] ¿How can I disable the searching for a mobile signal?

I got a new Samsung Galaxy Tab from Verizon, and I will be out of the United States for a very long time, I am going to Mexico, so I don't think I will have signal over there and my galaxy tab will keep searching for a mobile signal, and that means that my battery will finish really fast, because it will keep searching and searching and searching. I was wondering how I would be able to disable the search of the signal so I don't run out of battery really fast.
Thanks in advance!
Hold the power button down which brings up a menu to deactivate "data network mode"
Already did, and it stills keep searching for a mobile signal :S
try
settings
Wireless and network
mobile networks
uncheck all
Switch on airplane mode. then enable wireless networking. no signal hunt.
there is also a radio disable mode from phone pad *#*#4636#*#* I think. then turn off radio. same result as airplane mode with wireless switched on so first one easier.
hope that helps.
Here is a Summary of what I've been doing to try to disable the mobile signal, but not success, also here are some pictures of what is happening so you can understand me better. Here are the pics and captions: iamunicorn.com/GalaxyTab
Thanks in advance!
read my earlier post - switch on airplane mode, then enable wireless networking!!!
or alternatively, try searching the forum - its been addressed before.

How is it not the best way if it's the only way to do it? Really, it's a toggle switch, get a widget. How can it be any easier? That's like saying the volume rocker isn't the best way of changing the system sound.

What I meant is that there should be a Disable button, like any other cellphone... but thanks anyways I will use it like that for now.

Of course you will have signal. It is not like you are going to Venezuela or something......... however roaming charges will apply
U$800 for a UMTS galaxy tab? f**k no!

figured it out
The Tab is just a cellphone I think, so an dedicated button to "disable" the signal is not a really good thing for samsung design team.

No wifi again after disabling it

Hey guys!
I´m facing a really annoying problem and i´m afraid it could be hardware related...
First of all, i didn´t use the 6p as my main phone so i cannot say since when this problem persists.
I wondered about this: i was connected to my wifi network. After sometime i looked at the phone - it was disconnected from the ap. I tried to re-enable it but no luck, just a restart brings it back. Used omni and thought, okay...might be an aosp thing.
Just installed CM (everything included, baseband, radio, vendor) - if i disable wifi and wanting to enable it again, i don´t get any access to my ap. If i restart the phone it´s there.
Please take a look at the video i made to show this problem. https://youtu.be/STUeUdZ3WyY
Thanks in advance!
Ummm... Nobody? :/

Wake up display without buttons and fingerprint ?

Hi,
i tried to get DT2W to work but no go. I activated it with P9 toolkit and corresponding option is available in device settings but it doesnt work.
As second attempt i tried different apps which use proximity sensor to wake up display with wave over sensor but they all dont work reliable.
After a while in standby these app doesnt operate anymore. Even when all battery and power optimizations are disabled.
Any other ideas ?
noone an idea or hint ?
Is there no other way than fingerprint and On/Off button ?
There are tutorials in the forum. Please check them
Also, it requires ROOT.

How to mute Nokia Start Up Tune?

Hi All,
Recently purchased a Nokia 5.
There is a Nokia start up tune. I want to mute/disable this. It is very annoying. Is there a work around? Due to work reasons, l have to turn off my mobile and restart it several times a day. In a work/office environment, it is embarrassing when l reboot.
Have tried apps (Silent Boot - doesn't seem to work), DND/Mute on restart - doesn't work.
Anybody have any tips?
