I've already got direct confirmation from ZeroLemon they are working on a case for the 6P
But one thing that grinds my gears is deceptive marketing. From the portable power banks, chargers, car charges , etc. I don't want to read a title that says the item is for the 6P but its not a 5V/3A

I was wondering if anyone knows if a charger like this even exists.
I'm looking for one that can charge multiple USB devices both 1 amp and 2 amp (like the N7) without umm...sharing amps (for lack of a better phrase I guess).
From what I'm seeing there are a lot of these multiple USB chargers, BUT...they only support up to a combination of 2 amps. So if I plug in 2 cell phones and 2 tablets (of which both tablets are 2 amp), basically nothing will charge anytime soon.
Anyway, if anyone knows of one, that would be cool.
I was at walgreens the other day and I saw a charger with two outputs, top one being 2.1 amps and the bottom being 1.

I've heard about someone cutting is usb wire to make it fits directly. And the device didn't like to receive 110volt

That's the problem I'm finding. The multi port chargers only support *up to* 2.1 amps, so it really isn't very useful if you have 2 N7's for example.

Hi,
I just bought a Nexus 7 and noticed that it has a different charger than the Android smartphones I have, e.g. Nexus S and Galaxy Nexus. However, the connection is still the same.
My question is, is it safe to use a smartphone charger with my Nexus 7, just to have less stuff lying around? Is it safe to use the 7's charger with my smartphone? Will I break my devices if I do it?
Thanks!
Perfectly safe. The Nexus charger puts out slightly more current than most phones, worst case it will charge them slightly faster, just as a phone charger will be a little shower with the tablet.

You won't break your devices, but it would take an extraordinarily long time to charge your N7 with the phone's charger. Conversely, the phone is not going to charge exponentially faster using the tab's charger. So, all in all, wile it's not ideal, you won't be hurting anything.

So I can just keep my Nexus 7 charger and use it for every other gadget, and put the other chargers into a drawer? That's nice to know, thanks guys.

The phone won't charge any faster using the N7 charger, but the tablet on the phone charger would be significantly slower- to the point that even moderate use while plugged in would result in still draining the battery. Assuming no use while charging, the tablet would require several hours more than normal for a full charge.

I disagree, my galaxy prevail charges twice as fast on my n7 charger than with a standard phone/car charger. However my n7 does take forever on the phone/car charger. Literally like 8hrs+ to reach 100%.

Check the 'mA' or 'A' rating on the charger.. The higher it is, the faster it will charge.
the charger I got bundled with Nexus 7 is outputing 2A (2000mA to be exact), which is quite higher than most phone chargers
(I've got chargers with standard 500mA & with 800mA).
I've been using the Nexus 7 charger for charging my ZTE Blade and nothing seems wrong using it..
A phone's charging circuit will automatically restrict the current to the specs needed by the phone.
PS: 'A' stands for 'Amperes' & 'mA' stands for 'milli Amperes ', both are units of measuring current.
I already lost the nexus 7 stock charger and my S3's charger, is there anything out there that someone recommends for charging the Nexus 7 at full rate (~2A rate, I believe)? Also would be nice to be able to charge my Galaxy S3 at full rate (~1A) using that one charger...so 3.1A+ would be ideal.
I've checked Amazon and such, just curious of anyone's experiences on here with chargers and the Nexus 7 because it's not always clear whether a charger actually charges the Nexus 7 at max charging rate. Any help is greatly appreciated!
edit: considering this one:
http://www.amazon.com/PowerGen-Trav...886&sr=8-6&keywords=power+gen+nexus+7+charger
I'd probably want to pick up a couple of these..so $10 (yes, call me cheap) is a little more than I was hoping to pay for an off brand charger, even if I could live with a single port charger as long as it charges my Nexus 7 at max charging rate. I paid around the same price for (4) iPad 10w chargers on eBay when I was using iDevices so I'm wondering if there's anything that's a better value for the Nexus 7?
Found this thread on charging performance, enlightening...

Any other cheap recommended chargers would great to hear
Hi, there. Can someone help me on this issue please, I am new here.
I have a Nexus 7 Wall charger at 5V 2AMPS and I want to use it on my Nexus 4 5V 1.2A. Would it be okay to do so, without damaging the battery? Does the kernels control how much current goes to the Nexus 4?
I have no choice but use the Nexus 7 Wall charger because the one that came with Nexus 4 was defected. I called Google but they said I would have to return the whole thing, but I don't want to since, who knows, the Next one may have a bad phone instead.
Google Play told me using other phone adapter would be fine, but they didn't know about Nexus 7 Wall Charger.
It would be great if someone could give me some advice, Thank You!

It will work, most phones would limit the power draw from the source to make sure battery charge at the proper rate. If you use a custom kernel with fast charge enabled, you will degrade the battery quicker.
I've used about 6 different chargers on this, gnex, and others including the nexus 7. They all work fine, but slower ones just charge slower.

I just plugged my phone into the turbo charger I bought from amazon (quick charge 2.0). Was at 14%, have it 15 minutes, and only got to 36%. This surprised me... Would have expected better.
This phone is QC 2.0 compatible, right? I've seen much better results on the n6. I'll have to try that charger later.
Anyone else have an experience?
