If you do a search on "Google Play RMA" you get this http://support.google.com/googleplay/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=2661524&rd=1 as a first hit. Quite handy that Google search..

App development request: gmate+

Greetings!
I have ran out of options and finally decided to take this step, not really sure if it will work but still hoping though that it will. I have come here to ask for help from developers and people with great knowledge in these things. Here is my situation. My friend bought a gmate+ device abroad as a gift for me here in Philippines and unfortunately, this device can only be used in the country it was bought in. After reading things in the manufacturer's site and contacting them (they have a very not-so-satisfying customer service, sorry to mention this), it seems that there really is no cure for my case unless I have it ship back and ask for refund then buy a new one here instead, which is also almost impossible because I do not have the receipt(the item was just given to me without any receipt) and I do not know exactly from which store my friend purchase it(and according to him, he is also unsure from which store exactly because he went shopping for things as gifts not in just a single store or place). So to make the story short, I now have a useless piece of device which could have been really great for my Nexus 7 if only it works. The gmate+ is a device sold by the company Skyroam. This is a bluetooth device which allows an Android or iOS running gadget to have the ability to use GSM service through it via bluetooth pairing and software. I do not know if it is really hard, but I'm thinking ( actually hoping and praying ) that maybe somebody here could do something about my case, perhaps build a workaround via a software. I would really appreciate it if anybody would take time to work on this project. Additional info which may help, if anybody's interested, I'm running the stock update Android 4.3 for the Nexus 7 (2012).
Thanks and more power!
Are you sure that this is related to app development? Can this be changed with an app?
If you think so, you can ask here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2349036

Not 100% sure, but like I said I am really praying and hoping it is. Maybe somebody could think of a workaround or if it's really impossible then at least they'd inform me why.
Thank you so much for the link.

You might need another firmware for the gmate+.
Or someone has to rewrite the Android app.
But to me it seems as if it it needed another firmware.

This is what I'm hoping somebody here could.
The manufacturer's site is up and it has details about the product as well, so the developer could know better about it. I have also found similar gadgets online. They are mostly products that are manufactured in China and have outdated softwares.

[Q] Will it be possible to use my Rogers Note 3 N900W8 on Wind?

I'm sorry if this is frequently asked, I have no idea how any if this works, I've exhausted google and reddit as well as calling cell tech places around town, someone recommended this place, said you guys were the best when it came to this kind of stuff.
One of the Cell Tech places I called said the "File" doesn't exist yet.
Does anyone know if it'll work? If it's still unknown? And is it safe?
Yes. It will work after unlocking.

Thank you SO MUCH for responding.

Is OEM Unlocking enabled?
Try flashing TWRP in bootloader mode, using fastboot. It will confirm if OEM locking was enabled or not. If it is enabled

Please don't judge so quickly. This will discourage the user, so let him convey his side of the story. He also mentioned that the person he bought it from, doesn't remember the details.
We are here to support the users. I hope you understand.

No, I am supporting him. I hope he gets the issue fixed. But the old "I forgot my login" story, to me, is a lie 9 times out of 10.
I'm not knocking the user/OP here, Im knocking the person he bought it from.

I agree with you on the "lie 9 times out of 10" point.
OP, return it to the seller for a full refund and/or log the sale with the appropriate authorities.

+1 on that eBay will back you up on this, as will PayPal, and also your credit card company. Once seller learns your intention to return/report he'll either get his s**t together and remember the user name and password for you or take the phone back.

OnePlus 6T FRP Unlock Question

I have a OnePlus 6T that is FRP locked and was wondering if someone can help me unlock it? I have tried the talkback way but I only have wifi on the phone so the maps don't load for me to get to google chrome.
I also have tried flashing but my computer doesn't seem to want to install the qualcomm driver. When I plug in the phone it doesn't install the driver either, I am running Windows 10 64 bit on a Microsoft Surface Pro.
If anyone can help me it would be appreciated. Also, I am located in San Diego and if someone wants to charge me to do it for me I am willing to go that route.
Not trying to come off as rude, but people on these forums are probably not likely to help you in any way. If your device if FRP Locked, you must have the account information that corresponds to the phone. As this question is usually asked with stolen phones because you do not know the account info, unlocking FRP is illegal. Ask the phone's previous owner for their info, or if purchased online ask for a return/refund.

I understand your point but there are many threads discussing FRP unlocking for other devices on this forum.
Yeah, no one is going to help you here. Sorry dude. If the phone is legit then you should be able to ask whoever's account is locked.
Otherwise, a new account on XDA asking for help FRP unlocking a phone.. Prolly wont get what you are looking for.
Actually, someone PM'd a solution and I unlocked the phone. Instead of getting to Google chrome through maps I accessed it through YouTube. Then installed the FRP bypass apk.

Good to know you were able to unlock your stolen phone.
FRP bypass is not legitimate and is always suspect.
Either you stole a phone or bought a stolen phone.
Might want to keep the bragging to a minimum.

I didn't steal anything. I'm a Uber driver and someone left there phone in the car. I found it underneath the car seat and I didn't get anyone asking about it. I don't go around stealing phones. That's how people get hurt.

Sorry, but it is a stolen phone and unfortunately someone here helped you steal a phone.
You may not have taken it from the hand of someone, but you didn't buy it and you didn't turn it into the police.

Turn it in to the police? For them to do what? How old are you? Seems like you are more intent on being right then doing the right thing IMO

It was an example.
But you can claim indignation if you like but I'm not the one with the phone that doesn't belong to me.
I do know that if you leave the phone plugged in the person is more likely than not to call and locate.
If you pop the SIM and put it in another phone you can get the number and leave the owner a VM.
So with a moderate amount of effort you can usually find the owner.
Been there, done that.
Found, stolen. Whatever. It's not yours.
Now I'm done.

I found it underneath the car seat with the battery dead. I charged it and turned it on and didn't receive any calls for 2 weeks. I'm not playing babysitter. If you don't claim your phone through Uber or call me, which you can easily do, then that goes in the lost and found for 2 weeks until I sell it.
Just because you want to sit on your high horse in a hypothetical situation doesn't mean anything. If you were in the possession of the phone you would do the same or worse. At least I waited for someone to claim it. I'm not responsible for someone's absent mindedness.
