when you swipe down the screen you see a screen what is called in Dutch het meldingen paneel I pressed the LTE symbol and now I do not have any povider service anymore, anybody now a solution?

I own the htc wizard version from t-mobile.
Its a great phone only i have one crucial problem.
When ik short press the powerbutton, to turn off the lcd, i'm not reachale anymore.. :? When ik turn the lcd back on again, it says its registert at gsm network, but after 2 sec when turning lcd on, it shows the disconnect icon.. Now it ask's again for the sim pincode :twisted:

Letter "U" does not work and hangs, possibility to disable hardware keyboard?
I'm a Wizard owner for almost a year, but since two weeks i'm having problems.
The key "u" does not work anymore, also the "6" and "7" keys when using the function key. The strange thing is that after resuming with the powerbutton the letter "u" keeps hanging.
So I went to the repair centre, but they won't fix it under waranty because they say the phone has water damage :S (Which besides is impossible!).
My question is, if there is a way to disable a specific hardware key or has anyone experience with this problem or another solution..?
Monday i'll get the device photo's from the repair centre..
Edit: i've done a hardreset and put back the official t-mobile rom, so it's not a software problem.. And sometimes black lines appear like in this topic: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=289273
Here's the repair photo. The backup battery is oxydated.. Strange that this causes the error :S

I recently installed advanced config on my x1 and i changed the setting for 'gprs button'. i set it to include in the bubble: disconnect button and timer
then i soft reset and tried to connect to my mobile internet. The bubble that says its connecting: it comes up twice. Once from the signal icon and once from my 3G icon. This has never happened before. Then a 3rd bubble appears telling me it can't connect (but I actually did connect ok)
EDIT: I just realised that the 2 bubbles are one for trying to connect to pay-as-you-go WAP (wrong one) and the other one for Contract WAP (the correct one). Why does it go through payasyougo first?? Error bubble still there.
Every time i connect through Comm manager, its the same scenario.
Now i've tried to go back in advanced config to revert back to the default setting of 'disabled'. But after reset, the disconnect button and timer are still there!
Additionally: I have the word 'update' on my homescreen - bottom left corner. Think its standard on SE's panel. When I press it, it tries to connect to gprs! Theres no error message if connecting this way (cos it connects straight away to Contract gprs)!! But is that what the 'update' button is there for??
Can someone Pleaseeee tell me how to get rid of the error bubble and/or tell me how to revert successfully back to the original state??
Some info on the 'update' button would also be great!

I just updated my original message. It might give everyone a clearer idea of what's been going on.
Hard reset can't be the only option!
I think Hard Reset is the best and fastest method at the moment.
And you can just set everything to the same state before anyone come up with another solution (if there is).

The Update softkey forces the weather to update. Might do the same for RSS feeds as well.
I have a htc touch with original rom.
Sometimes when I'm writing a message the screen goes all white, and it's necessary to take the battery off and completely restarting the equipment.
At the beginning I thought it was some program installed but even after a hard-reset the problem is the same, sometimes he stay´s all white...
How can i resolve this??? Nem ROM can fix this???

i have a strange issue with my screen lock.
First, the new wm6.5 started unlocking in my pocket. i found out that sometimes when i pressed the screen in the upper left corner it unlocked ( so without sliding). To resolve this problem, i installed smartlock to turn back to the classic wm6 lock. This works, but the phone is still "trying to unlock" sometimes. for example, when i have my phone laying on my desk with the lock on, it sometimes out of the blue shows the unlock screen, like i pressed "unlock" . .
this is not a really big issue, but the real problem is that when I'm making a call the phone starts to lock / unlock in a rapid tempo, like its going crazy.. the only way to stop this is to do a soft reset..
I already tried a lot of different Roms, made hard-resets and reinstalled HardSPL 1.83 but nothing seems to fix this issue..
is anyone familiar with this problem and its solution?

Probably a hardware fault, go to your warranty center to have it checked.
