permissoin manager? - Galaxy S 5 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

hi guys
Im using a rooted S5 - android 5.0.
Anyone knows any working/fully functional permission manager? i.e. today i downloaded one expense manager app and it asked for permission to access my SMS. I would like to deny that. Any known app I can choose which permission I should allow and which i should deny n a particular app?
Thanks

Install Xposed framework then install AppOpsXposed module.

im using a deodexed custom rom (BOD3) after installing xposed sdk got stuck in bootloop. i had to upload uninstaller to my external card and after that i was able to access my phone. I flashed sdk21.

I'm using SlimLP v5.1.1 and xposed-v75-sdk22-arm.zip with no problems.

Nandroid backup is done inside of clockwork recovery which you can use rom manager to boot into.
Custom roms will usually come with busybox, but if you want to update your version you can download busybox installer from market
Not sure what you are doing with google maps, but if you uninstall maps it shouldnt give you a problem reinstalling another google maps apk manually or from market.
If it says read only on system folder then you have not changed to write access. What file browser are you using?
You can absolutely unstall any of the tmobile bloatware including tmobile tv. If you want a precooked rom that has all of this stuff removed and is stock in every other way then check the link in my sig for my mysense rom. It may be exactly what you are looking for.

Nexus 7 app installing problem

I have a app installing problem when I trying and install a app from an apk it says I don't have enough space
But the screenshot says I do I am rooted and running stock Rom
you have installed lucky patcher before and you have an odex file that prevents the app being installed. fix it by a wipe data. if you have not previously installed lucky patcher or similar programs, its a bit more complicated.

[Q] Possible Half-Rooted device, or other problem?

Hello to everyone,
I own a Galaxy S5 G900F, (Unlocked Variant).
I have downloaded and installed LOLLIPOP AMBASADII.ODEX.V6.1 ROM with Aroma Installer and I am using Amplitude Kernel.
The rom came pre-rooted, with SuperSU Installed. I Only updated the app from the PlayStore. The program DID NOT prompt me for Binaries Update. I also have BusyBox installed.
When I check the root status with Root Checker, it says Success, which means there is root permission. Also, I checked it with Platinum Backup, and it also gives permission for root access. Finally, I downloaded a Root Browser, and that works fine as well.
The problem is with value-changing apps like game killer, game cih, haXplorer and game guardian. Although they prompt me to give permissions, and I chose "allow", none of them is able to work.
In game killer, it says "root privilage is needed"
In haXplorer, as soon as I open it is says "shutdown"
In game guardian, the program auto closes instantly.
All the above issues have to do with proper root Access.
So, how is it possible for programs like FX File Explorer (root), titanium (root), root checker and others to have root access, while others don't?
I would really like your answer on this, as I am trying for one week to solve this issue with no results.
Thank you.
Once you get root access, it is sytem wide, not by app.

Thank you for the reply. Yeah I know that, so what should be the problem?
Maybe you need an app to hide or cloak root status.
That such thing exists for Xposed framwork, but thus it is not comparible with 5.0 TW ROMs, you will have to downgrade back to 4.4.2 in order to use it.

I need some help getting to install SELinuxModeChanger to use with V4A.

Hello,
I just can't get SELinuxmodechanger to work. I am on N preview 3. I open the app and give it root acces, but then it just says ''App was unable to gain root acces''. What's the problem?

The Dev for the App had apparently abandoned the App so I, kind of, just took it on for further development the best i can.
If you want, uninstall that app and restart your device.
Once your booted up, try the one from the link below, that was slightly modified, for the Marshmallow and Nougat ROM's.
SELinuxModeChanger.ver.3.2.build.42.test1.apk
Then let me know on the following thread:

You can install the stock app. Download this package and install manually or in recovery mode!

Did not work, because the build of my smart is AOG1, that you gave me is AP2 if not mistaken.
