Hi, I installed cm13 successfully and it was running fine till the time i found that I am unable to seek any song in any music player both in CM music player and also google Music player app. after seeking audio it stops playing, but playback from the start of the song works fine.
2nd issue is, I didnt find any difference enabling audio equalizer that comes preloaded and the sound quality is also not that well. only treble is prominent no bass at all mostly on the earphones. please share if u found same kind of problem or is there any solution for it.
Thanks

Bumping this thread because I have the same exact problem with Music (com.cyanogenmod.eleven) and other installed music player apps on my D802. Looking around I found a workaround (to use Poweramp app instead) on reddit/r/cyanogenmod/comments/3x6nr7/lg_g2_cm13_music_issue/
Nevertheless, the issue seems to still be there also for other people (even on nightly from 2016-01-12 that I have installed). Where should I look for info if this issue is to be solved for CM13? Otherwise, how can I contribute to solving it(in order to have minimal working ROM).
same probleme!in lg d802
Same here... I am on AICP Rom - Build 30-01-16 | LG G2 D802
Everything else works great... expect of this audio playback bug

Hi
I have been having a weird problem with the touch HD. After I installed pocket music player 5.1 I noticed that the palyer is not working correctly.
When I listen to music I notice that I hear a small gap or click in the song barely unoticeable, but to me its annoying. I store the music files on the external sd card. Also the sound quality really sucks from the hd compared to other mobile devices.
Then after playing some time I get a weird message that there is a error message ( audiomanager.exe ) encountered a problem.
Well Please tell me what might be the source of error with the pocket music player. And why do I get error messages.
Is there a better player than pocket music and gives great sound.
I don't like the music player that comes with touch hd, it does not sound that good either.
I kept getting that error with the TouchFlo musicplayer. I seem to have narrowed it down to the mps tags. I removed the track no and any comments and now have no problems.
For playback, are you talking about headphones or speaker ?
Have you installed th SD tune up prog ?
I have now installed the tune up prog.
I will test it now, but I mean that the lag in sound was when I connected the headphones.
What do u think of the sound quality ? I really am not impressed.
Is it cause of the pocket music player, or is there any other good music player

I find my iphone headphones fine but my B&O do highlight problems (but they do on anything), overall I find it fine. You can adjust the sound to suit using the audio booster. Theres lots of different settings to tune the music.
I think is a common problem I have a few friends including me facing this problem ' skip gap within the song. We all using many brand of headphone to test it still having same problem (Audio-Techic, CrossRoads, Jays, etc). Anyone have any idea to how solve it? Thanks....
Hi guys.
I really love AOSP rom paranoid android (4.4.2 KitKat) on my LS980 (Sprint), but sound quality though is not brilliant.
I have bought power amp app, but still it does not sound as good as lg stock music player.
Yeah, there is good bass, but for instance for rock this quality is not enough.
I compared 4.2.2 stock player with power AMP and first one is very very good for me.
So I'm asking, if anybody is able to port stock music player app from LG G2 to aosp roms.
Thank you.
I need that too...

Yeah,I needed it too, I wasn't able to find it but I was able to find the stock LG G2 camera and quick remote apps.
I'm cornily not home, when I'll be home I'll try to port it myself.
It's not the player. The vast majority of players in Android use the ROM's native libraries to play the music, they are simply a front-end, UI, etc, to the process.
Any sound issues would be in the ROM, kernel, audio libs etc.
On LG Roms for the G2, HiFi audio was supported. But this was done after some (supposed) major modifications to the android framework (because android doesn't support HiFi by default).
My suggestions are try Noozy ( https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.dogsbark.noozy) and maybe try ViPER4Android as well ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2191223).
This is the set up I use and am very happy with my music.
(Oh, and I strongly suggest getting a kernel with faux sound and getting the faux sound app)
I'll be honest, Idk if my current setup still gives me HiFi audio or is limited by Android, but I like this setup.
Question #1
When I install Napster on any of the LineageOS Roms, I get the same BUG. Any song I hit to stream in play mode starts to play at 1 to 2 seconds and then loops back to the 1 second mark non-stop LOOPING, no sound either.
Found this to be the problem to be true in AOKP and RR roms and of course just the plain vanilla LineageOS rom. This is a bummer because the LG V20 has such a great Hi-Fi sound coming out of it.
So this can be Question #1 here please to reply on....
---------------------------------------------------------------
Question #2
Speaking of which? Where is the Hi-Fi DAC control icon for any of these ROM's and does it work?
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Question #3:
Anyone try Tidal or Spotify or any other music apps and find the same issues to be true please? I only pay for Napster (used to be called Rhapsody) so did NOT test out Tidal or Spotify on those ROMS as of yet.

Thanks for any help in advance!
Hi
Im very Happy with the Oreo Update for the Essential Phone. The only thing that doesn't work ist the Equalizer with Spotify. Does it work with your phone? I tried it via Bluetooth and the USB-C Adapter both failed.
My Phone is not Rooted and haven't Plan it to do. With the Beta and Android 7 the Equalizer seems Fine.
Thanks for your Help

Thanks for your Feedback i will try to Clear the Cache from MusicFX and hope for the best
Have found the Solution... its from 2013
I figured out what is causing the problem and this is when using the music fx equalizer any song you are playing from a playlist that is stored for offline use and you own that song this will cause the equalizer not to work. Once another song you do not own is played the equalizer works again. The only way to get a song you own to work with the equalizer is to go to the custom settings of the equalizer when the song you own is playing and click ok and the equalizer will work until spotify hits another song you own. This problem caused me to delete some songs I own off the phone and then delete the playlist and download it again so the playlist does not use a song I own and then the equalizer will not turn off.
Thanks Caltinpla:good:
Wow, that's a very particular circumstance and process to fix. Sure seems like a bug in Spotify and/or interface with the equalizer app.

Interesting...
I personally think it's malarkey...
Because... The built in equalizer will only work on songs that you have stored... When streaming... Deep Buffering kicks in... This causes more download from streaming audio sources... And bypasses the equalizer... Hence why you need to remove deep buffering to make streaming audio process...
Hey guys.
I don't think I am the only one who experience audio stuttering while playing music, but couldn't find another thread about it.
So, initially I thought it's only via Bluetooth, but then it turned out audio skips for some miliseconds even while playing it on the speaker of the phone.
Is there any way to fix that? Please note that player priority DOESN'T have an effect. That's the first thing I've tried.
I am on Oreo.
Could you help somehow?
Thanks

What audio player do you use and have stuttering? With bluetooth there is a little delay in sound playing for example youtube vid if you dont have at least aptx connection (aptx not original supported by mia1 butpossible with a magisk module).
I use PowerAmp.
Also, I don't have AptX BT headset, but as I mentioned this issue is NOT only Bluetooth connected.
