Ever since I installed MM ( truepure 2.1, great rom), my notifications haven't played through the alternative connected speakers (I.e. Bluetooth or direct audio cable)
Is there a setting in gravitybox or MM settings that is missing? Very annoying to not here notifications when navigating, etc

Hi i use bluetooth in the car I have the phone connected to a 3.5mm bluetooth receiver and the built in hands free in the car.
I only switch bluetooth on in the car.
Noticed today that my battery was going quite quick and checked the wake locks.
Shows bluetooth_timer and I think a couple of others. Even though I had disabled bluetooth from the notification bar.
I then tried playing a video from the Android central app and noticed the audio was defaulting to bluetooth (despite being disabled)
Used YouTube and again audio being sent to bluetooth, YouTube app gave me the option to change to speaker.
Had to reboot my phone for it to stop thinking the bluetooth was an option for the output.
Any one else with experience of this ?

My Maxx works well with my new Honda except text messaging. When I choose text messages it flashes "Unsupported". Anyone else have a Honda with this issue? Is there a fix?

I have Ford sync and it says the same its not you. It worked on jellybean but kk removed the function. No fix I know of.
I believe there is a fix for this in 4.4.3. I have a Droid Maxx that use to work in my Mazda on Jellybean but broke on KitKat.

Any possible solution? My wife's Verizon G2 (stock 4.4.2) does not appear to do sms. My GS3 (Alliance Rom 23 - 4.3) does fine on the same car. Is it KitKat? This is a 2014 Honda Civic.
UPDATE: I re-paired the phone twice and the sms functionality finally worked. Just waiting on the hondalink compatibility with android now.
I ended up buying an NFC enabled Bluetooth adapter from amazing and plugging it into the aux port on my tsx. And NFC tag in the cradle + trigger and my problems are mostly solved.

It's just the griffith vehicle dock with an NFC tag stuck on it.

You can just buy NFC tags from all over amazon. The NFC tags are not necessary as you can tell trigger to uh, trigger an action when it connects to your cars bluetooth, but I prefer the NFC tag so I can sit in my car without it putting my phone into car mode which is basically
Turn on BT
Disable wifi
enable GPS
enable mobile data
disable auto rotate
Connect to car BT
connect to a2dp BT
Enable auto brightness
turn up ringer volume
turn up media volume
turn up notification volume
turn up system volume
then it speaks out to me when its done so I know if made all the BT connections.
when I have my phone in this mode I can call out for touchless controls and it answers and it reads my messages to me
essentially the reverse happens when I disconnect from my car BT.
I have all kinds of trigger actions, like when I get to work between certain hours and it connects the JP morgan wifi network
disable GPS
disable mobile data
diable bluetooth
turn down ringer volume
turn down notification volume
turn down system volume
turn on vibrate
Launch my private VPN connection.
It also automatically turns down my screen brightness and ringer when I enter a movie theater and does the reverse of the work connect when I leave the JP morgan wifi between certain hours
At night it sets my last minute alarm in case I forget and reminds me to set a pin lock on my phone so that I dont try to use it to message people under the influence of ambien.
I have been meaning to ask, since they updated assist when I say send text after getting a text message it wants me to compose a reply by voice. I prefered the old action that sent back a message saying I was driving. I suppose I could make trigger do this, but since assist is running anyways I would prefer it gave me the option like it used to.
I know this seems to be an old (Samsung) problem, but is there any way to force the system to play notification sound only over BT when a BT audio device is connected?
I found suggestions to mute the device but neither vibration nor mute helps because then no sound is played over BT. Some suggest apps like Bluetooth Auto Connect, but either I am to dumb to configure it that way or it is not working for anyone.
And I noticed that shifting audio focus seems to be quite slow, at least on my G2 it felt way faster (could be because of settings in Poweramp for audio shifting on notifications?). Thanks in advance.
Device: SM-N910F
Baseband Version: N910FXXS1COK1 (should be the latest, is the closed pendant to stock androids software version)
Not rooted yet, but root and XPosed should be running by the end of the week if that helps solving the problem.
In the past I have used the SoundAbout app for just this purpose - routing Notification sounds, Ringtones and even Media audio to my Bluetooth headset when it's connected. There is a free and a paid-for Pro version:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.woodslink.android.wiredheadphoneroutingfix
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.woodslink.android.wiredheadphoneroutingfix.pro
Lots of options and settings to tweak - very flexible app, and the only one of its kind, if I'm not mistaken.
And how did you configured it to work ? I think I have configured it right but keep getting both sounds.
I don't have it installed at the moment as I no longer need this feature, but I was able to tell it to route all Notification sounds to the Bluetooth headset under "Alert Behavior" and "Bluetooth Behavior" and then choose what you want in there. It is definitely possible to do what you want with this app, and you can have separate routing settings for Media, Phone Call, and Notifications. If you don't like the persistent notification in your status bar, you can choose "SoundAbout Service ON - No Status".
Ok, found why it was not working: in changelog there is written you have to restart it after installation. So it's working now.
Thnaks for the quick help
That's great! Glad to hear it
So essentially as the title says I'm having issues with my headphones whenever I connect em to my phone via Bluetooth.
My headphones always either pause music or hang up phone calls automatically for no reason whatsoever when I don't even tap the button to do so (I'm using Sennheiser Urbanite XL Wireless). It seemed to have worked flawlessly before the upgrade to MM but now it's just bugging out on me. Any solutions? Thanks for the help.

seems like an issue in MM, someone already reported to Google if you google "Marshmallow bluetooth issue". Looks like not fixed so far unfortunately. I have downgraded to LP for now.
Does the Audio Path toggle come and go for anyone else? I just noticed it. It's super convenient when present especially when I wanna switch from Bluetooth headset to speakers to share a song or video with friends.
Yup only there when more than one path available, very nice feature, voice control of it would be cool

Noticed the same today. The other day had it available in the car, when connected to Bluetooth but listening to radio, wanted sound through phone speakers and worked great
Today, the audio path option has gone, but still connected the same to the stereo ... Ideas?

Is Your quick connect still enabled, that's what will make the audio path option show up when multiple options are available
Solution
Open samsung connect
Go to settings in that app
Switch samsung connect panel
Done
Enjoy
