Question about the Erisin ES2402V - Android Head-Units

Hi everyone,
I'm planning to buy an Android headunit soon and I saw the Erisin ES2402V.
It has everything I want (8" screen, DVD reader, physical volume button, 1024x600, etc).
I don't have a VW car but I'll adapt the unit to my dashboard.
The question is : can the VW logo that is shown on the main menu be changed ?
I know that the boot logo can be customised, but what about the one in the menu ?
Thanks a lot for your replies.

dont make this mistake
Hey dont want to make you sad if you alreade bought it because i bought an erisin unit and its crap this is the worst compeny in the word they never replay to you once you pay them and you resive your unit they will never answer to you and if they will they wont help you at all so i am really sorry i bought erisin and not something else like joying

Are you still looking for a Head Unit or have you fitted one.
What kind of qashqai do you have the J10 , J10 MK2, J11 ?

I fitted the pumpkin auto 4gb android 8.0 unit to my j10 2013 qashqai.
Front camera is a bit fiddly to get working, but it works.
I made a video of it working here
Read the comments for more useful hints. Watch out for how you wire the camera button. I (And one of the commenters) blew fuses in our bcm. My car was off the road for a cpl of weeks haha!
I have since rooted my unit, because it allowed me to have tasker run and not be killed when turning off the ignition. I setup a profile which flashes up a "Activate front cam" menu whenever the car goes below 3mph.
Before I did this it involved 4+ button presses to get the front cam up. Now the button is there when I need it.
If you need any pointers feel free to ask.
I have been using joying head unit for a few years. You get the 360 camera input to work, I had to change the signal wire logic level from 6v to 12v. Easily done with a couple of transistors.

Android head unit sub woofer level control? WHAT!?

Hi,
So I just want a simple answer to what the logic behind the "subwoofer level" setting is on the head unit. I am now onto buying my 3rd head unit as the first one was a JOYING 10.1inch which was actually perfect but I had to sell it on due to buying another car and not wanting such a big screen.. Needed something that would fit the interior properly so I had to sell the head unit (Wish I didnt as this headunit didnt have a single flaw).
Now the issue starts! I then bought a JOYING 8inch VW headunit with android marshmallow on it and I then installed a subwoofer to it. What I dont understand is this new "Feature" where the sub woofer volume/frequency is controlled seperately from the rest of the speakers which are controlled with the volume knob. Which idiot thought of this!? The problem starts when you turn the volume knob down but oh wait, the sub woofer is still booming really loudly. You then have to go into the subwoofer level setting and adjust that to the volume you want.. and then when you want to put the volume louder, you have to readjust the sub woofer level again!!! Why would you bloody want this when you have sub woofer controllers you can install easily which do the same job!? I then thought okay maybe it is a flaw with the head unit so I sold my brother the headunit and of I went to look for another one.. I thought not going to get another joying again so this time just yestarday I saw the EONON GA8153A octa core android 7.1.1 and I thought WOW I have to buy this.. So I emailed the company to ask about this stupid subwoofer level feature and fingers crossed they didnt have this same feature built in to their head units but so do they!? It would be fine if it actually worked properly but everytime you turn your volume down, you have to adjust the subwoofer level as well and turn it down or if you dont, you have a car which is playing no highs or mids but a crazy amount of bass. It is stupid! Long story short.. I did ask them if they could create a custom android 7.1.1 firmware which will control the sub woofer volume together with the the rest of speakers but its not possible for them yet all these single din head units you see, SONY, PIONEER etc etc have this implemented properly.. Someone please enlighten me on this situation? Any software guru's out there who know how to modify the firmware and make this change possible? Rant over.
Thank You.
This issue must have been introduced on Joying's head units with 7.x ??
My single-din 6.0.1 version JY-UMS03N2 with 7" screen controls all 5 outputs correctly. As far as I know, they also do the same head unit with 8" & 10" screens ?
Might be worth a post on the Joying forum. They do seem to respond occasionally.

They are not calling it an issue.. I contacted joying themselves who said it was a feature and the head unit I purchased yestarday from EONON have also said that this is what the customers asked for yet it doesnt make sense why the customers would ask for this.. I understand the fact that yes you can adjust subwoofer for whenever you dont want it playing then okay understood HOWEVER it also has its negatives where when you do have subwoofer on, you cant control the volume at the same time as when controlling the speaker volume too which makes no sense.
The issue/feature is not with all type of head units because I had a 10.1inch which you have just the bigger screen and that was fine and all outputs adjusted at the same time but the one I am looking for which is this http://www.eonon.co.uk/upload/product/Gallery/GA8153A/GA8153A-01.jpg seems to only adjust the outputs seperately which makes no sense. I will write it on the JOYING forum and see if they come up with a solution but I have already emailed them and they said no solution.
Thanks.
It seems these manufacturers have separated the subwoofer gain from the volume control. Nice to know before I buy. Definitely NOT a feature.

New to android HU's. Got couple of questions

Hi guys, I just created my account here at xda, and got myself my first android headunit a couple of days ago.
I got the Xtrons TR-100, as I needed a 1din unit, and just picked this one.
I got a couple of questions for you guys in here:
1. Is there any way to change the output settings of the speakers? Like hpf and all that? I could of course just install a 4-channel amp to get these features and use the rca's of the unit, but still.
2. Can anyone explain to me how to make a circuitboard that mimics steering wheel control, as the TR-100 only has 5 touch buttons on the screen frame, and I'd like a couple more to program for navigation, etc.
3. A little extra question, why does the unit and many other android units only support up to 32gb(Or was it 64gb?) flash drives? It could be so nice to have an 500gb or 1tb hdd filled with movies and so on.
Regards, Magnuswf
I can only answer point no.3 which is that I believe it can handle upto 128gb max and also that if you fitted a larger drive it would probably take a month of sundays for it to load all of the metadata?

Hi there,
re item 1. I also bought this head unit along with a separate amp plus 4 full speakers and a twin 10-inch subwoofer and was having trouble trying to get the sound correct until I stumbled across the EQ app in there are the controls you need, when I first fitted it I thought it must be faulty as I could sit there with it on full volume and hardly hear the base but after a little playing I doubt anyone could sit with it on full power my ex told me she can feel her body shaking through the seats and that was only at half volume
2. I bought a cheap steering wheel control for this and it gives me 10 separate buttons that work with this head unit try here:- https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0787ZXNB2
3. no idea why maybe most people do not want to search through that amount whilst driving, I just hit Spotify and let them decide what to play much easier than trying to carry around all of my music.
hope this can help.
regards Poppy Ann.

Default Got an android head unit and then returned it, now steering volume buttons won't work on stock

Hello,
I bought a generic android headunit and configured the volume and skip buttons to work (they kind of worked because the unit would only have memory for 3 buttons). I didn't like the audio quality of the device so I returned it and reinstalled my factory radio but now the volume and skip buttons don't work. The phone and Bluetooth speaking button still work however. Only a couple times I've noticed they're working again but otherwise it usually doesn't work
Just wondering if this has happened to anyone else or how I can resolve this?
I have a 2011 Camry LE

Is it an MTCD/E?
Teh crickets.
I believe MTCD, it's a generic brand with a PX6 processor and android 10

What is MCU version?
I am not sure as I don't have the head unit anymore. I'm using my stock radio.
Yet another not MTCD, requested mod moves to Android head units forum.

Junsun v1 allwiner T3 p1 head unit

Hello! Recently bought a junsun v1 device 2gb/32gb with allwinner T3 p1 chip runs android 11 (8.1). I tried to find code for enter engineer Mode to make it boot faster but nothing worked for me.
Furthermore i faced a problem with steering wheel control setup.
I do the setup, for a wille everything works great but after a few minutes the buttons are messed up.
Has anyone faced something like this!? Do you think is wiring problem or software (application bug).. I had another head unit before and didn't have any problem.

Yes I have allwinner T3 p1.
Guys try replacing a canbus box for device if you have any other available.
If not, order a stable one, but first you must see if device has canbus box (a box that communicates with car computer)
Problem with steering wheel controls solved. The seller wrote me back, tested and works!
Steering wheel control learning interface, reset the button in the upper right corner
Then click on the impedance selection, switch to select high and low impedance, and then learn the square control button again.

OK seems to work for me too!! I will check it more! Thanks again my friend!
Cool. I'm glad I helped you. Now I'm dealing with a new problem, my rear speakers are not playing.
edit: so the problem is not with the radio but with the car

So sorry for that. Mine works great! Don't have such problem. Are you sure is the head unit responsible for that?
As far as i m concerned the only thing that bothers me is that when i start the car always have to wait to boot... And can't find a solution
I think they played the rear speakers on the original radio. But I won't try again. I don't mind that much. I'll just have to buy an fm amplifier, it's not as strong as the original radio. Otherwise the radio is great.
Hello friends! I have a Jansun V1 head unit based on Allwinner quad-core t3 p1, 2/32 gb on Android 11
How can I set it so that the car radio does not turn off at all when the engine is turned off, but goes into sleep mode. I want the car radio to be immediately ready for use the next time the engine is turned on, and not wait for a long boot. Thank you!
