Is there any way of changing not just background, but the entire light themed mms.apk to a dark one? I'm on a rooted AT&T MF3
Is there a stock Android systemui.apk I can flash to make TW look like vanilla Android? Wanam can't fix some of it and my power menu, etc all still have blue backgrounds. Thanks!

Vanilla Android? It sounds like you want the powder blue Google /ASOP look. Transplanting AOSP system apps isn't going to work well.
You would be further ahead installing an ASOP themed TW custom ROM. Or otherwise theme your existing ROM. Or alternately install a full ASOP ROM.
.
My themes can't be changed

Are you using xposed ?
Are you using xposed? And also on what version are you on? Are you trying the correct themes? (for example if you are on lollipop (EMUI 3.1) you can use every theme made for the EMUI 4.0, 4.1.x etc).
No , but now I install Xposed
Then I try to change theme
It's applying OK
But font never change, still the stock one

did you manually updated your phone? I updated mine and got the balong bug, ever since I cant change themes, same as you... but since I own nova thats not really a problem
It is possible to change from dark to light in 8.1 stock?
Yes it is managed automatically according to your wallpaper
There's some Xposed module to force it to dark
You can use substratum to have a even more stylish look than default white/dark
What is Substratum?

Substratum is theme engine which you can use to apply themes with or without root, you can find it on Google Play. If you dont have root, you need additional app called Andromeda which allows you to install themes without root using ADB.

Hello all!
I wanted to know if anyone had any luck with Substratum via root?
I was reading about the theming engine and there was some article that states that Razer only allows signed themes to be applied.
In short Substratum will not work.
Has anyone had any luck with it?
Thanks!
Are you referring to this?

Says it doesn't need root.
Substratum won't work on the RP2 much like it doesn't on the RP1 due to the theme engine already installed.

Okay then I raise you this question.. How can one uninstall / disable / delete the stock theme engine?
I'd be much happier with stock android colors, and dark theme. None of this green accent bull.

Unnecessary, so long as you are rooted. Use Smali Patcher with the "signature spoofing" flag enabled and you will be able to use Substratum without having to do anything to the Theme Store aside from disabling any themes you have applied through it. Note that you will not be able to cleanly theme the Settings app on the stock ROM.
