Hi, do you have idea if A5_DWG's first sim , an LTE supporting slot ? Although i'll be getting airtel's 4g sim for my other phone in a day or two, but seeing this post made me curious.

I am also a a5_dwg user .. I too needed info about this . Am too using sirtel and wanna use 4g .Soo if u get info tell me ..

I have Unlocked and rooted my HTC Desire 816 Dual SIM[Indian variant phone]. I have installed the "marshmallow OS" installation was successful but my both Nano sims[GSM+GSM] are not detected Can you please help in this regard.
I have one more clarification what are these different code names HTC Desire 816 A5_DWG, HTC Desire 816 A5_tl, HTC Desire 816 A5_DUG, HTC Desire 816 A5_CHL ......etc.

The Rom you installed on Your phone is not made for your variant. That's Why Your nano sims are not detecting.IF you want to run sense 7 on your variant Install S.rom.

After flashing downloaded rom.Restart your phone once and flash this two flashable zips for network.

Patience bro! You gotta wait only a few more days and you'll receive the official android marshmallow update with sense 7 over-the-air. It's almost here.

10 months ago HTC has not confirmed that weather 816 will receives update or not.So I posted this thread.?

Yes, you can extract system and boot from the ROM to build your own custom using any kitchen.

guys these two dont work for me. they boot up the devices but sim card wont work there for there is no antenna signal.
would someone please send me a hong kong version of roms

Yes. HTC_621 is not compatibile with HTC_622. Please share the 1.08 system ruu for the cid 622 of the supreme camera

Thanks a lot! Worked just fine! I will just post the install instructions for other people:
1) Extract the files from zip and connect phone to the PC
2) Boot phone into download mode (turn off phone, press volume down and power until HTC logo appears. In the menu select download mode)
3) Run fastboot flash boot boot.img
4) Run fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
5) Run fastboot flash system system.img
6) Go to recovery and wipe cache and factory reset just to be sure
