internal memory space problem

hi guys
pls help me, for few days with no installing new apps my phone is warning me abut little internal space, i cant get sms etc. i uninstall some app any time i get notice about running out of space and there after time im getting the info again and again... what can be problem? i dont use the phone but my phone is loosing internal memory space
im running stock 2.1
thanks for your advice...
2 options are there -
option 1 - create an ext2 or ext3 partition of your SD card, root your phone then either install app2sd or link2sd [link2sd is easier to install & use, but both won't coexist / work] . then move apps to sd card[in link2sd you can select which apps should go to sd card, apps2sd move all of your apps to sd]
option 2 - install a custom rom, i.e, either froyo or gingerbread, there you get the option to move ur apps to sd card.

[Q] System Apk that safe to be removed

Hi, guys..
Everybody know that Sony Ericsson Eclair System is very very drained internal memory. In my phones (IND phone) the internal memory is 8 MB left. So slowly... free ram is 2x MB.
* x is a unidentified number
So i think i need to delete some apps at system that made my RAM is low. Example the Backup and Restore apps that is a inactive app (detected at TAsk manager) and use 1x MB ram. I hate this. What i dont know is com.blablabla.simpaytype.dfk (i don't know well what it's name), so i decided to not end that program.
can someone listed me some of apps that not useful at SE 2.1 ROM? Or a program to identify what apk is not useful?? thank you guys
Root your phone, create on your sd card second ext2 partition and instal from market link2sd and move all your programs to sd card...
the second partition on sdcard must be named "sd-ext", and the roms based on 2.3 mount this partition automatically.

Make a partition of SD card and link apps to SD
Just Google how to link to SD
U will get hundreds of results
Prefer xda ones
If u r a noob watch a video after reading the procedure ...
Hit thanks
If u still have doubts after doing all this post here ... we can help
use the almighty search tool!!!! search for terms like data partitioning etc. good luck

jonny789 I would love to know how you managed that if you are properly using Link2SD - just how many apps have you got installed?!
If you partition the SD using CWM recovery and choose 1024mb and 0mb at the two options (after backing up all data to the pc of course!) then reboot the phone when you open Link2SD it should ask you to confirm the type (EXT2/3/4 or FAT etc) - I pick EXT3 or 4 cos sometimes one won't work and I get an error so just use the other.
You will now have a second (hidden) partition and if you set your default save location to "External" all the apps you install will go to the main partition on the SD card. From there you can move them to internal storage (widgets, system apps like keyboards etc) or (preferably) link files to SD which will move a good chunk of the data to that hidden partition.
I have never come even close to using that 1gb of extra app storage and my internal memory is currently 61% free (73.04mb used, 117mb free). Of course lots of games and apps work just fine from the external storage anyway so you can just leave them there instead of linking them - really it is up to you.
The other way to use link2SD to free up internal memory is the system apps - you can uninstall a fair few of these to free up system memory which you can then use by converting non-system apps to system ones - this moves them from the "internal memory" to the "system memory" and hey presto you have more internal available. NOTE: Uninstalling system apps can bugger up your phone - search and read about it before you do this!
If you have already tried all of this then I apologise and humbly ask you to post a list of your installed apps so that we may all wonder at just how you managed to use all that internal memory lol
Cheers

Memory Memory....Memory

It sucks that our device only have 8GB of internal memory and half of it gone only for Google apps. I only have 4 games installed and few social apps and my device is hungry for more memory to update the apps. Anyone have solution for this ??
Root, use Link2sd or folder mount

Removing Bloatware without sacrificing Android Pay

[Title should read SAMSUNG Pay not Android Pay. Not sure how to correct it]
Every other day I get a 'low storage' notification due to the tiny 16GB internal memory in my Galaxy A5 2016.
That alone is frustrating enough, whats more, there is at least 2 GB of preinstalled crap in my Phone that I cannot remove.
Ordinarily I would root my phone and get rid of these apps. But the only reason I bought this phone is for Samsung Pay. And I don't think SPay can work on rooted phones...
I have a 64GB SD card - which sadly isn't of much use because I can't install apps directly to SD Card. That means I always need enough space for whatever apps I'm downloading in my internal memory. Is there a way to directly install all apps to SD Card?
tl;dr: How do I make living with 16gb internal memory bearable? I'm willing to do anything as long as SPay keeps working.
It's useless to remove bloatware from system since your datas and system have different paritions. In fact, you won't get more space if you remove bloatware (but your device may boots up faster).
Here some tips to get more space :
1. Delete useless files in My files
2. Uninstall useless downloaded apps
3. Uninstall or disable (updated) system apps which you never use
4. Clear your apps cache in settings > storage > internal storage > cached data
Don't root your device if you prefer Samsung pay since it requires a non-tripped KNOX 0x0
Good luck !

Samsung and android pay rely on safetynet to work, and for safetynet to work, all you need is to be unrooted.
So you can actually root, remove bloatware and unroot.
But like the guy above said, freeing up system space will not give u extra room on your internal storage, it's a fixed size partition, so the only space u get is from the dalvik files that can be removed along with the bloated apps.
What you can also do is rename the rest of the dalvik files to *.odex and move them to the corresponding oat/arm folders inside system/app and priv-app for some more space.
As a last resort, you can find a fix somewhere on these forums that enables adoptable storage on our devices, which is prolly the best way to increase internal storage (but comes at he expense of being able to swap out the sd card)
