Hy.
I have a new S6 edge+ phone and i recognised something. When the phone locked with the right side button and i am in the dark room. And press the right button or miidle button to light the screen and unlock the screen, the two touch button seems to flashes one faintly before light. I ecperience only dark room. You can recognise when yiu focus on thr right or left touch button. When the envirioment is clear i dont experience it. It is related to the light sensitivity? Do you experience on yiur phone? Or it is a bug? Thank you.

Is it possible that my 4 buttons don't light up anymore? [back, menu, home and search] I just flashed the new Desire ROM and noticed that they aren't lit up. Not sure if it's the rom, or the hardware, or my eyes failing me but I believe that they aren't lit. Is this possible? are they on the same circuits and stuff as the screen?
Desire rom lights them up based on the light sensor. Put your finger over the sensor or go in a dark room and they'll light up.
I actually prefer it this way over the stock rom. It's a nice touch.
Was in a pitch black closet, but no dice. Thanks for your reply!
If you wish to turn them back on try LEDs Hack from the market. It might still be there.

I've watched a bunch of YouTube videos of people's review of the Nexus S.
Seems like the soft buttons don't light up at all? Even when they're pressing it? Any ideas? is it light sensitive like the screen and only goes bright when there's no light? Is there an option to turn on/off the soft button lights?
I would assume that there is an option for it. you're right though, I haven't seen it enabled in any video.
yes they do, I believe the phone is able to detect if there is a enought light availabe and if so they won't light up.
I just installed the Skinomi screen protector so I had to spray a bit of solution. Now the pyhsical buttons doesn't light up unless I make a call. When I press home or menu it doesn't light up.
I have not noticed this but can anyone tell me if it is based on the light sensor. I am in a fairly lit room right now. Thanks
Well I just went into the bathroom and I guess it is based on a light sensor.
Hi everybody.
I have problem with proximity sensor. When I make a call, the screen immediately goes black, and the device no longer responds to any button (not even the power button on top). The any way to get the screen back to life is by removing and reinserting the battery.
Is there any solution to the screen not goes black during call??
I’m using cyanogenmod on HD2.
hold the phone's light sensor under a bright light. It is a pain, but the only thing that works for me.
I just noticed a very weird glitch in the yureka stock cyanogenmod ROM? In normal phones, the light of the touch buttons only lights up when the buttons are used whereas in Yureka, the buttons light up every time we touch on the screen. This is very annoying particularly while using the phone in the dark environment such as night. So anybody have solution to this? Please work on this issue so that the buttons light up only when touched. Thanks.....
