Incoming call problem
Hello ! I have a major problem....
I cannot receive calls ( call disconnected ) it appears when someone try to call me !
This problem i have it since i upgraded my rom version (3.14.479.2)
i tryed soft reset, hard restet.......and nothing happen ! Still this problem....aaa help???
Hello,
I have the same problem. I have had this problem with the MIUI and the Cyanogen ROM. Even after updating it still gets stuck.
When I receive a call the screen turns black and I can only answer it by pressing the button, not by using the screen. After the call the screen is still black and the only way to use it is to reset my phone (take out battery).
Any help?
Whenever someone calls me I hear my ringtone but my screen is still black for like 3-5 seconds then finally the screen turns on to show me who is calling. It's not really a major issue but it is a little annoying that I have to wait like 5 second to answer the phone lol. Anyone else having this issue or know how to fix it?? Thanks!

Might have something to do with the mods you have installed - I'm on the stock ROM, with only a few mods (hotspot and camera-sound-off) - don't have this issue. (I also had Xposed+XPrivacy installed till yesterday - didn't have this issue even then)
Did you have this issue from day 1 (before rooting)?

Hmm... you are probably right. It's probably a mod or something I have installed -___- and no I have not had this problem since day 1.
Hello guys, i was just wondering if anyone got problem with HD2 when answering calls? The problem happends sometimes, not allways. I used a bunch of ROM's and allways the same thing. So when some1 is calling me, and when i press the answer button, sometimes got strange noice and phone freezes, have to pull out the battery and start it again. I know its not the hardware problem, because i used WP7 and stock roms, and everything was fine. The problem only exists when using Android. Sorry if i double posted a thread. Cheers

I have N910C and I updated it to Lollipop. After the update I've got the annoying answering lag (delay for about 1-2 secs until other party can hear me).
I know about the solution to wait a bit until saying hello, but I can't get used to it, so I always end up saying hello two times, it's so annoying. And even worse, during that 1 sec, if I reach my ear with the phone too quickly, the screen stays on, even if i answered the call, so I need to put my phone away and back to my ear to shut the screen off. Also noticed and in regard to what I said, when the phone is ringing, I slide the slider to answer, it takes those 1-2 secs for the screen to switch from "slider" screen to "in call" screen...
Anyone having the same or similar issue? Any solution? I have been searching the forums already, and the latest posts about the issue are quite old and do not provide the solution.
I'm on stock BOB4.
Any help would be appreciated.
I am also interested in a solution, because i am facing the same problem. 910c with LP

I'm on Polish too.
Have you tried the factory reset?
Not only you I have this problem too, but not always, and yes I tried factory reset before and after flash firmware
No, I haven't tried factory reset (~600 Apps), and thankfully that wasn't the solution as the other person tried that with no success.
This only happens when I answer the phone, and not when I call and the other persone anwers it. In that case everything is normal.
I am pretty sure that other also have faced the same problem but didn't noticed it yet. Time will tell...
I have the same problem to.
Now I'm glad that I didn't try factory reset. It would be for nothing...
I didn't have this problem with Kit Kat. I just hope they will address it in the next update. It's so annoying...
I just wanted to ask the very same question - I've now trained myself to put the phone to my cheek AFTER it switches the graphics from the green circle being complete (phonecall being answered) to the actual call icons, but this is, frankly, ridiculous.
Anyone fixed this in a new upgrade?

Croatia VIPNet LP 5.0.1.

I was calling my friend and he put me on hold by mistake. I didn't know this, and checked the phone to see if the call was disconnected.
I was surprized to see that my phone rebooted. This has happened 3 times now, and all while trying to disconnect calls. I've attended a lot of calls, but it doesn't happen always.
Anyone else having this issue? I didn't have this issue when I had Nougat on the device.

Same issue here. You might have noticed that it happens most of the time when you press power key while call is ending.
Since last two days no issue like that before 5-10 times. Device reboots in 1-2 seconds so i ignored it. call me lazy.

Totally true! I meant realistically it takes less than 20 seconds, which is quite fast. My Redmi 2s still needs some time to get up and running, but Mi A1 is fast in this regard. And so is Redmi Note 4 (my roommate has it).

Same problem occuring on my Mi A1
Same for me.
Same issue but no solution..
Guys any solution for it ? I m facing the same problem and this is happening after i updated to Oreo
Same for me guys. tried everything, not even latest patch (Feb) solved it. What about you?
Same the latest update haven't solved it so I have just downgraded to the 7.1.2
I have been facing the same issue for past 3 weeks. Don't know the reason nor the solution.!
Also, if you notice, the call during which the phone restarts, is never logged in the last dialed or received calls
This is either a kernel bug which affects certain phones or a hardware bug. If you can reproduce it after factory resetting your phone, not installing any additional apps and using another cellular operator, then it's certainly a hardware bug. In this case you might want to replace/RMA your device.

The problem seems to be related to the proximity sensor. The smartphone also reboot in whatsapp calls.

Same issue here. For me it happens when the other person ends the call or when I make the call or during the call itself.
I have had this issue. I clean flashed the whole phone with wiping the partition too. And it's solved now for me.

A follow-up question: Which .bat should be used?
EDIT: 'Clean All and Lock' is using "flash_all_lock.bat". My bad. Thanks!
