Hi, I have a question for android update from version 4.4.2 to 5.0.2. I have the LG G2 version of the Sprint network.
Information about phone software version:
Build number: KOT49l.LS980ZVC
Software version LS980ZVC.
I found a video on youtube showing a similar update, but it is in Spanish and do not really understand all the instructions for installation.
I would ask for step-by-step how I update my LG LS980 to Android 5.0 Lollipop.
Hi,
Bought a Galaxy S5 which I'm struggling to update (preferably to a unrooted, stock UK ROM)
baseband: g900TUVU1ANCH
Model number: SM-G900F
Android version: 4.4.2
Build no: DONGCHAO.607
From the Samsung phone info app:
Bootloader:G900TUVU1ANCH
PDA VERSION:
G900W8VLU1AND1
CSC VERSION:
G900W8OYA1AND1
Latest Firmware:
Not found
Root existance:
Yes
Build no.
KOT49H.G900W8VLU1AND1 (Why is this different?)
I could be wrong but from the numbers above I think it's using a Chinese ROM which may be preventing me putting a UK ROM on there.
The model number in Android and the Samsung Phone Info app is reported as a SM-G900F, but when I restart the phone in download mode it's reported as a SM-900T.
Can anyone explain which ROM I should be using and how I get 5.0>?
thanks!
i got a stock S5 im asking what carriers i can ported it to

Hello, my phone is saying that my android is newest, but it's 5.0.2 this is normal?
Baseband version A500FUXXU1BPC1
Build number LRX22G.A500FUXXU1BPI2
As the title says I am trying to upgrade to Lollipop, but I want to keep root. I saw this guide that talked about going to BOC4, but the rom links don't work which makes me kind of leery as to whether its the best/current method. I do know that BOC4 is the last bootloader that allows downgrading, but that isn't an issue since Lollipop is rootable right?
Phone Info:
