taking off my screen protector

i got a brando ultra clear protector but i messed up the instilation i got a lot of bubbles i wanna take it off and try again but i dont wanna damage my screen anyone know an easy way of doing it ??? i have it on an imate jam
I wouldn't know how, but I have a simple transfer for slides from my printer and that does the job perfect. Clean the screen well with a tisue for your eye-glasses and than slide the plastic onder the borders.
This message costs you nothing
You can use a piece of sticky tape to pull it off.
thanks for ya help but i used a craft knife
Sticky tape is the best way to do it. No danger of ruining your screen.
Just remember not to pull the protector in a 90 degree angle... Try to pull it slowly from one corner with your fingers as close to the screen as possible since you could damage the digitizer if pulled in a 90 degree angle.

SOLVED: touch screen not responding...

well atleast for me anyways. if you ever experience times where your touch screen is not responding until you press hard all over the screen, then i have the solution.
(you should already know how to open your kaiser'tilt' before doing this)
i believe due to its been in there for a long time, it looses its stickiness. i'm talking about the glue between the diigitizer and the lcd console. earlier today i thought about it and tried to take it out, and that was it. my screen has been responsive the whole day.
WARNING:the digitizer is very fragile. i have cracked mine on upper right corner where the 'x' box to close the application is. though i did crack it, that part was the only part no that is not responding, the rest of the screen works.
what you basically have to do is to gain access to the lcd and take it out.
the hard part is to have patients on seperating the digitizer. dont use a screwdriver or a knife. you have to use a thin string and just take your time on seperating the two(trust me i learned the bad way).
once seperated, scrape off the black tape and your done.
i am not reponsible for any damage you do to your phone. like i said, you need to know how to open your phone already before doing this.
and again take your time, be patient and cautious on doing this.
Do you have pics? i've lost sensitivity at the edges
yes, pics please.

Screen polish to remove scratches?

Hi,
Has anyone tried polishing the HTC Touch screen to remove scratches? I need to remove some scratches from mine but I want to be very careful not to damage the resistive surface, etc.
Thanks.
Use your toothpaste and rub slowly in a circular manner.i think it works.try out and let me know.

Water Damaged Digitizer and Rice Solution?

Someone spilled drink over my phone at a party and I cleaned it. But in the morning I realized that a small row of touchscreen is unresponsive. It's like a finger lenght area horizontally. What do you think if I try to put my phone in a rice will it take moisture? Or do I have to order a lcd directly?
plus: if I touch hardly, this unresponsive area works.

Glue(?) in button holes

Ok, so as a dumb guy wich I am, i've got myself a UV glue mounted screen protector.
The problem is, glue dropped down to the buttons, and now, the vol- side of volume button is kinda sticky. Other ones are working, but nothing is sure as they did exactly the same thing before.
Any idea how to disolve it? Acetone? Vinegar? Or maybe just warm water?
I've ordered one of these. Coincidentally today I was doing some research (aka watching YouTube videos) regarding how to apply and remove them. Someone mentioned that alcohol is good for removing the glue. Perhaps that would work?
Hey, same thing happened when i applied my domeglass... I used isopropyl alcohol, cotton sticks and patience to wipe the glue from the buttons whitout ruining the edge of the screen protector.
Isopropyl alcohol really did the job
Alcohol. And if you do want to do a UV temp glass tape off your device around the LCD I used electrical tape and didn't get any in my buttons. But got it in my earpiece. I had to work at it with a fine needle for a while
