scratch on screen

I have a scratch on my screen (Imate Jam). The scratch is just on the plastic layer. The glass isn't damaged. Is it possible to remove the plastic layer, without losing the touchscreen. Where can I order a new plastic layer (not a screenprotector, but the plastic layer wich you can only remove when you open the device).
Yea, i have the same problem. Two-three minor scratches that can only be seen on white background. Is there a way to fix it, or even change the plastic layer as koole said??
If not, how much a new tooch screen costs?
The plastic layer you're talking about is actually part of the screen and the only way to replace it is probably to replace the entire screen. This is why almost everyone is using a screen protector.
Adding a screen protector may be the solution to your problems. I had a few ugly marks on my first ppc before I got hold of a screen protector, and it almost totally hid then scratches.

taking off my screen protector

i got a brando ultra clear protector but i messed up the instilation i got a lot of bubbles i wanna take it off and try again but i dont wanna damage my screen anyone know an easy way of doing it ??? i have it on an imate jam
I wouldn't know how, but I have a simple transfer for slides from my printer and that does the job perfect. Clean the screen well with a tisue for your eye-glasses and than slide the plastic onder the borders.
This message costs you nothing
You can use a piece of sticky tape to pull it off.
thanks for ya help but i used a craft knife
Sticky tape is the best way to do it. No danger of ruining your screen.
Just remember not to pull the protector in a 90 degree angle... Try to pull it slowly from one corner with your fingers as close to the screen as possible since you could damage the digitizer if pulled in a 90 degree angle.

how to remove the screen protector?

I want to clean my screen protector and i have a silly question. How can i remove it from the device? i don't want to hurt the screen while doing it but its pretty tight... any ideas?
Try a piece of scotch tape to pull up the corner of the screen protector. That has worked for me in the past.
thats something I'm always worried about. so, for all the screen protector that I put onto my screen, I also make sure I have a lot of finger prints on one of the corner.,
So far I used a sewing needle to VERY carefully pick up a corner (sliding the needle under it) and it worked great.

[Q] Tiny white object under the glass screen?

Bought a Galaxy S4 on ebay a few weeks back. Didn't notice it at first, but when I sat down to apply a screen protector and wiped the screen clean, I noticed there is some sort of a micro object, like a white dot just under the glass. It is not a dead pixel, because it is there when screen is completely off, and when I tilt the phone and hold it at an angle I can see that LCD under this tiny dot is clean.
What the heck can it be? I doubt the seller changed the glass screen and wasn't careful when cleaning the LCD, but I suppose it is remotely possible since the phone has a nasty scratch with tiny chunks of plastic chipped off, on the bottom right corner of the silver bezel.
Anyone had a problem like this with their screen? Any way to fix this short of removing the screen?
Could be dust under the screen. If I was you I'd get it replaced if it bothers you. I dont think there is no way to remove it other than removing glass to clean it and reapply which I advice against.
