I wonder how to install Xposed without TWRP?
Any prediction of TWRP compatible with moto x style xt1572 BR Marshmallow?
thank you
Yes I am also wondering, I have indian marshmallow XT1572
i wanted to comment on TWRP forum but I still dont have 10 posts to post there
I cannot vouch for this method on the Moto X Pure, but I know that folks in the LG G4 forums were using FlashFire to flash Xposed (and other things) to their bootloader-locked devices. Might be worth a looksie?

Hello everyone!
I rooted my Moto X Pure and I'm trying to figure out how to take the new Moto X Pure OTA update for Marshmellow. I have the TWRP recovery installed and the bootloader as well. I also have SuperSu installed. I'm still running stock Android but I have made a couple of database variable changes and a build prop change (Very minor). If someone can provide me instructions on how to proceed it will be completely appreciated.

I wrote this up a few weeks ago. Here is the linkhttp://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-x-style/help/updating-to-mm-lp-moto-x-pure-t3270473
This is for the US Moto X Pure Edition, not sure if it would work for the Style or not. So if you own the Pure Edition then this should work perfectly for you.
Hello,
I booted into the fast boot/bootloader mode, and there instead of "athene", it displays "athene_f".
Variant - XT 1643
So, is it safe to flash the stock ROM(and other custom ROM's) which are available for XT1643(athene), on this device.
Cause I'm a bit confused, as to if "athene" and "athene _f" is the same thing, or has a bit different hardware.
~Thanks you.
The g4 regular is athene, the g4 plus is athene_f
Stock rom had to be for xt1643, but custom can be xt16xx

Okay, thank you very much..
Hey guys, I'd like to install Lineage OS on my Moto G Play, but I need to know if there's any known method to get DTV working after flashing the custom ROM.

Sorry, no way.
I guess I'll stick to the stock ROM, and I'll probably root it after the nougat update...
hi, what are the issues in having tv in custom roms?
Kernel?
Finally Rooted my Moto X2 2014 Victara Oreo custom ROM installed,
Just download ZIP below and flash via custom Recovery and enjoy some tweeks for Oreo too...
I found this from another thread and tested at My MOTO X2 having 8.0 OS, i took a Risk but i had proper backup, so please backup before testing but i think at 8.0 Custom ROMS it works fine.. Anything wanna know about X2 just ping me...

Why not just use Magisk?

Magisk is buggy till to date, nothing work in , Magisk won't install any of the zip module.... Better root and use substratum ....
Tested it on latest LOS15 and works fine
Since the 7.0 Nougat update has finally been released and installed on my Pure, I'm itching to root it but stay with stock nougat.
My question is ... Do I use the same method developed for 6.0 mm root? Specifically this one: http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-x-style/help/rooting-stock-xt1575-marshmallow-6-0-t3353812
Thanks for your help?
No use Magisk. https://forum.xda-developers.com/apps/magisk/official-magisk-v7-universal-systemless-t3473445 its prebuilt systemless. And will pass safety net. Unless you go xposed where it will fail. I would stay on version 14.0.
Thanks
