I had the HTC One before, and when I go outside the home I still have wifi.
But with the Moto X PE, as soon as I stepped outside, wifi is lost and it swtiched on LTE.
Does this phone just have weak wifi signal? Is there anything I can do to help with wifi signal strength?
Thanks,

I have a new motorola photon 4g that I just got two weeks ago. I have been having one of two issues with it since purchase: weak wifi signal in my house, and connecting to wifi but not having internet connectivity. I have already gone to sprint service and had the phone replaced (the first one had a bad antenna) and my girl has the same phone with the same issues. I used a wifi analyzer app and the signal fluctuates as I walk down the hallway. I am only about twenty feet away from the router, and of course it connects to the sprint network in the store. Is there a problem with the software or did I just get three bad phones in a row? Can anyone help.
I have a Verizon 3G indoor signal booster made by Samsung. My GNex would connect to it just fine but my G2 doesn't see it at all. Anyone in the same boat?
My bad. It actually works just fine. LG has a separate icon for the signal booster unlike my GNex with the base rom, where it would replace the regular 3g signal meter with the signal booster meter. On the G2, it's an additional icon on the top. This G2 it's so awesome. So this phone tells me the wireless strength, the normal 3g/4g signal strength, and it tells me the signal booster strength.
I recently got an X Force under contract with O2 (UK), and have noticed a strange problem.
I have two access points in my house, both with the same SSID and password. My old phone (LG G2) held signal well around the house, but I notice with the Force that if I walk somewhere where the strength of the wifi signals is quite close, it seems to have real trouble. I lose internet connectivity, despite the phone showing me that it still has a good strong network connection.
Sometimes turning wifi off and back on will fix it, but not always.
Any ideas? I didn't have this problem at all with the G2. The phone recently updated to Android 6.0.
Thanks folks.
