Marshmallow on Nexus 4
I have successfully rooted my nexus 4 using the Nexus Root Tool kit. Thanks to the developers. Now I want to install the Frank rom which is a custom rom to install marshmallow on my phone. Please suggest me an easy method to install that rom. I have also downloaded the rom which is a zip file of around 200 Mb. Please help me.

Hello everybody!
I thought about opening this new thread to build up a how to guide for everybody who is runing on android 4.3!
This guid should use a method without the need to unlock ur bootloader. So far as I know an older version has to be flashed with flashtool/downgrade! After using the old version this version has to be rooted with the right solution (kingo for the older versions/other root method which can be found as a video/search function). Afte rthis you have to do a OTA upgrade and u should keep ur root status. A full wipe is recommended to avoid problems I'm using the sony backup app and helium backup bye clockworkmod. Anybody better suggestions.
Thanks guys!!

Someone on the forum usually makes a stock ROM a day or two after the OTA update is released. With that stock ROM you can flash it via TWRP recovery.
Hi, can anyone recommend me a way to get 5.0.1 rooted lollipop for the nexus 4? I just want a pure stock rom without any additions to it because i want some stability since ive been having problems with my 4.4.4 rom. Thank you!

Flash the 5.0.1 factory image with fastboot. Then flash the twrp image with fastboot. Then flash supersu in twrp. You'll have 5.0.1 with root.

Just make a backup of any files that you need then download and install Wugfresh toolkit and select to install stock rom and then just click at Root button.
Just a few clicks and u r done.
Hello all, last night 5.1 factory image was released. Right now am at 5.0.1, stock and rooted with few mods.
I didn't want to sideload OTA, because its pain in the ass when you're rooted and I don't like OTA.
I'm gonna do fresh install, I find it better and easier.
So my questions are:
How do I root it on 5.1, the same way as I rooted on 5.0.1?
I used Nexus Root Toolkit, but I know how to do a lot of stuff using the adb commands so that's not a problem for me.
I don't want to use NRT this time.
Can I obtain root this way:
I flash 5.1, then TWRP then just flash flashable SuperSU zip?
Will I be able to flash TWRP 2.8.6.0 onto 5.1, and same goes for SuperSU,
can I flash TWRP/SuperSU regarding which android version I have?
The main reason for using TWRP now, is so when Xposed becomes beta/stable I can flash it.
Thanks

Hey, I'm quite the scrub, but I'm ready to root my 6p, but I've recently installed the 7.1.1 developer preview(NPF10C) onto my phone. Just wondering if I should rollback to stock or can I root from this version?
Also, if anyone can send me a link to a straight forward and simple rooting guide, I'd appreciate it as well.
Everything that u need to root is on the first page. The guide refers to 7.0 but works the same for DP 7.1.1
