can hulu work with new flash player 11

Anyway to get hulu working with the current flash player on the market? I used to have 10.3 and libflash file and that worked great but I lost that somehow.
Hello, I know somebody knows what to do. The first time I did it I got everything from here. If I remember correctly:
Install flash 10.3
Extract libflashplayer
Copy libflash
Paste over com.adobe flash player
Done.
If this rings a bell jump in help me out, thanks.

Root and Install Custom Rom on Xoom WiFi (Wingray)

Hello, I have a stock XOOM WiFi (Wingray) and have been looking at installing a custom ROM. I am doing it for fun, knowledge, and to hopefully get a little better performance out of my XOOM.
I currently use my xoom for Web Browsing, XBMC, and Sling Player...
I have been searching the Web and this Forum for information on how i can do this, step by step but i am lost. I know that i have to do the following:
1.Unlock Boot loader (Lord AIO Tool, was unsuccessful which is why i started the thread to post useful links after i succeed.)
2.Modify the Recovery Partition.
3.BigPart
4.Install Custom ROM (Based on whatever Android Ver / Kernel)
I am running Mac OSX 10.8, have a windows VM, and access to a windows laptop if needed.
*EDIT*
Results: I used my Windows Laptop and started to have some success with the Lord AIO Tool. i dont see why the VM wouldn't work, but i had given up on the VM thinking it may have cause a problem.
Steps Needed:
1. Download Motorola Fastboot Drivers:
https://motorola-global-portal.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/88481
2. Download ADP Tool (or Install Android SDK and add appropriate locations to your System Path)
ADP Tool: (Awesome)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2588979
Android SDK:
http://developer.android.com/sdk/index.html
3. Download Lord AIO Tools: (also, Awesome)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1468298
4. Download the ROM you need. I used OMNI 4.4.2 (Also needed Big Part, and this too is Awesome)
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2593757
Big Part:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2506997
5. Download Super User Root zip file.
6. Format an microSD Card FAT32 and copy over the following files:
TeamWin Recover Partition
TeamWin Recovery Partition Big Part (only needed for ROMs that need larger partition.
Super User
OMNI ROM (or whatever ROM you want)
GApps (one of the Google Apps. I used the gapps-wingray-kk-20131223.zip)
7. Follow Instructions for Lord AIO Tool installation and then do the following:
Run the tool and unlock the boot loader (enter option 03, not 3, but 03)
When done you need to install The recovery partition, i used TeamWin RP. (This is option 09 in the Lord AIO Tool)
Then i rebooted into recovery mode and was in the TeamWin RP menu. From there i Flashed the BigPart, then ROM, then Gapps, and then the Super User to Root.
I think there is an option to Root from the Lord AIO Tool, but i dont think i used it at all.
I was trying stuff all day and when it's all said and done I think that's basically what i did, things didnt always work on the first try and i had some trouble mounting the microSD in the Recovery Partition.
I put this here to hopefully give people new to the game a run down of what to do. i did a lot of searching yesterday and was spinning my wheels. and some of the old threads i found were quite technical and had dead links. (not necessarily from XDA) It's not a Step by Step for the XOOM but will hopefully get people who are late to the game a good start.

i did not need to run as Admin, possibly cause the user was already admin. i had issues when i ran as admin... that's one thing i forgot to add above. (I ran it on Win7 32-Bit)

also, try moving LAIOT to C:\ if not already there.

Perfect (step by step)
Followed this step by step, utilizing this process as well as the individual threads regarding each part (Big Part Partitioning, LORD AIO Tool-with file folder placed on "C" drive, etc.) and worked like a charm.
This thread should become sticky and placed at the very top for Xoom Rooting guide.

can you write explicitly what the error says, and when you hit "enter" the second time what are you exactly hitting enter to?
also include a bit of info on what OS you are using, where you have stuff installed, and so on.

FireTV as Download Centre

Since the FireTV is always on it is perfectly suited as a Download centre when combined with an external HDD.
At the moment I'm runnig NZBGet mobile to download media from usenet to my external HDD which is mounted using Stickmount. By installing python for android I managed to get VideoSort to work, which is a script which automatically recognizes the TV-Show/Movie for you and names it accordingly, moves it and cleans up any left-over thrash. Works very well so far.
Combined with some usenet indexing site which build rss feeds (or remote push to NZBGet) for any new episodes/movie releases you can automatically download any new stuff which you might want. Some even import any stuff from your Trakt/IMDB watchlist. As XBMC is running on the same machine it is also easy to let XBMC update the library when any new media is added.
Wonder if anyone else has set up anything like this? I looked into installing transmission through optware on the FireTV but couldn’t install optware as it wouldn’t let me remount. Can install uTorrent and control that from your phone but as far as I saw I couldn’t get it to run a cleanup script after any download is done. Really want it to be all automated so for now I’m only using usenet, which I prefer over torrents anyway.
you have just made my day you have no idea. ive been working on getting a renamer to work on my fire tv i already have a torrent based downloader with a custom rss feed to download but i couldnt for the life of me find one.
as for clean up im not quite sure what you mean but this is my setup
Flud run auto download through rss and updates decently when it downloads when its done it will delete the torrent file and there is an option to move the file when it is done downloading
i have my hdd mounted and all files are moved to the uncatagorized folder but after that i i cant sort them so im gonna try your method but a really good app i found is watchdog it auto updates the xbmc library a lot better then anything else
if theres anything i can help with let me know
thanks again
Also flud will delet old items and if its renamed and moved it should be able to delete the old unnecessary folders
so since videosort requires NZB do you know a way to make it work without it?
P.S. Sorry about my grammar its my worst subject and I was more excited to post then check haha

The VideoSort script can be modified to work with torrents as well. It uses some variables passed by NZBGet (Download Directory, NZB-name, etc) to process the download. If there is any torrent client for android which allows you to call a script after a download is done and has some way to pass the download location it should work. I don't know of any torrent client on android that does this though. uTorrent, transmission and more allow for this in their Windows clients.
What I did before I got python working was I shared my external HDD with my Windows network using Samba Filesharing. Then I just had a simple batch file setup which would sort the media by using Filebot.
So there isn't an equivalent sabnzbd suite (sickbeard, couchpotato) for the Android fork like you have on openelec?

What if we use tasker to trigger an event when a file or folder gets moved to the UnCategorised folder? The event being a Python script that I found called turbo sort it works great.
Also one more thing I would love to get flexget working to scrape rss feeds have you looked into this at all?
I've made a lot of progress on this and the last day I'm somewhat close to making a thread that explains how to make an automated system but I've got to make sure everything works flawlessly first.
Bad grammar this time is due to voice keyboard lol
nzbget version?
I've been messing with nzbget on gbox and fire for some time now. Now gbox has openelec sabnzbdsuite is perfect. Before that was using nzbget and it worked well, however latest version with extraction would start loading on ftv but just hang. I did manage to get old version to run fine but no auto extract. Which version you using? Did you manage to add unrar pp script?

Not that I know off. Think there is a Sickbeard version for android though. I tried to install SABnzbd through optware on my tablet but couldn't get it to work well with python. You should try NZBGet, works well. Also is less resource intensive. If you combine NZBGet with indexer to automatically add stuff and use the NZBGet post processing scripts to order the media you will basically have sabnzbd/sickbeard/couch into 1 app by just running NZBGet combined with an indexer (I use DogNZB).

The script I use, VideoSort, is a evolved version of the Turbo script. Good idea on Tasker to watch for the folder. Think that should work. You can try it yourself, install Python for Android and use it to run the script.

The NZBGet version I have already has parcheck and unrarring build in. Only need to add post processing scripts if you want to do more. Atm I have 3 running, 1 to rename a specific format and place them in my tvshow/seasons/episodes folder structure. 1 to notify XBMC and 1 to notify me of new downloads on my phone.
Running this version:

That's odd, that's same version that just hangs of aftv for me. Maybe time to break it out again and start from scratch.
Can't quite get it to work
Hi Nedle,
Thanks for writing this post I've been scratching my head over this for days.
Ive set up sickbeard for android just for TV post processing with rss feeds from probably the same nzb indexer as you, its a bit hit and miss really because some of the extracted files are labelled 2 folders deep with the parent folder showing the show details, another folder with random characters and then finally the video file with more random characters. It seems like sickbeard will only pick up strangely labelled files in the parent folder and not go digging.
It looks like getting videosort to work could hopefully sort this out, I'm not sure how to get python running properly. Ive tried running the r5 version from the link you gave and the python3 version with no success. I've put the videosort zip in the download folder and tried to import it into python but it pops up with an error. Videosort on Nzbget continues to fail in pp.
What process did you go through to get python to work? I'm sure I must be making a rookie error here
Thanks!

Sorry for a very late reaction, didn't see this until now. Scripts will have to be executable, think android doesn't allow this on the sdcard. To fix this all my scripts are located on my external hdd. Furthermore you will need to set the path and call the videosort script from a shell script as it won't work directly (atleast I couldn't).
So in my nzbget scripts folder I have a call_VideoSort.sh script, which calls VideoSort.py. The libraries which VideoSort needs (guessit) I copied to /sdcard/com.googlecode.pythonforandroid\extras\python.
call_VideoSort.sh contains all the Nzbget stuff: The options for format, folder structure, etc. Then at the bottom it simply has:
Code:
export PYTHONHOME=/data/data/com.googlecode.pythonforandroid/files/python
export PYTHONPATH=/storage/sdcard0/com.googlecode.pythonforandroid/extras/python:/data/data/com.googlecode.pythonforandroid/files/python/lib/python2.6
export PATH=$PYTHONHOME/bin:/system/bin:/system/xbin:$PATH
export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=$LD_LIBRARY_PATH:/data/data/com.googlecode.pythonforandroid/files/python/lib
python "<PATHtoVideoSort.py>"
Let me know if you need any help and I'll see if I can.

Yes, I have the playstore installed and installed NZBGet from there. But you can just sideload nzbget as well, shouldn't be a problem. Downloading stuff is pretty straight forward. If you want to automatically sort your media you will need post processing scripts which require python. That takes a bit more tinkering to work, as you will have to install python and make the scripts executable.
If you get stuck anywhere let me know what errors you get and I'll try to help. You can use http://apps.evozi.com/apk-downloader/ to download the nzbget apk and sideload it.

Transferring of Kodi Setup from PC to FireTV Stick

Hello everyone,
I am kind of new to Kodi and FireTV Stick but already fell deeply in love with all of it’s features. Last week I installed a MegaPack for Kodi which comes with all the repos and addons already installed. Really love it but I guess that this image I installed can be stripped down to reduce size and overall hardware needs.
The instructions to install the MegaPack required a 1 GB download and adbfire. In adbfire with the help of the restore button the whole extracted “MegaPack.zip” was copied to the FireTV Stick and everything worked fine.
Now yesterday I tried the following: I installed Kodi on my Laptop, installed the same MegPack (which in case of Windows just requires to copy all the folder to C:/Users/xxx/AppData/Roaming/Kodi) and made some changes. These changes I then copied again with the help of adbfire to the stick and voila it worked…
To keep it short my question is the following: Is my described procedure “good”? I really love the ease of setting up Kodi on the PC and push the files to the stick. With help of mouse and keyboard the setup process is much more convenient. I am just not sure if this might lead to technical problems. Anybody can tell me if I was lucky with my try yesterday or that this is a perfectly fine way to do it? The addons on Kodi for Windows and FireTV Stick are the same?
Thank you very much in advance and happy Kodiing
Thanks Anhaussner for the information!
Could please post the download link for the MegaPack for Kodi that you have installed?
I also would like to know how to install this MegaPack and on which folder you will have to copy all these files?

Only thing is that the two file systems are different, you need to change the file system on the fire stick, one of the maintenance programs can change it for you, download "The Community Portal" & goto mantenance/advance settings & then select "convert physical paths to special" this will fix the file system to Android from the Pc version. If you need to install this install it from File manager/add sources & type in- http://noobsandnerds.com/portal
then name it what ever you like & select ok, then install from zip, not go to programs & open it.
Hope this helps If so hit that like button
Ideally, I would install the build on the Fire Stick, tailor it to your requirements (stripping out the add-ons you don't want etc) and then performing a backup via ADBfire. You'll then have a build perfectly set up to restore to any new Fire Stick using only the "Restore" feature also in ADBFire. It would be the cleanest method to do it.
For example, I do the same for my builds. However, I applied the same restore to the Fire TV, and while most things worked some did not (and there shouldn't be that much variation between the Fire Stick and TV.)

[Need Help] [Shield TV 16GB] Cannot log into Play Store on flashing Full Android v2.2

Hi,
I successfully flashed Full Android v2.2 (many thanks zulu99) but now cannot proceed with logging into Play Store or with adding an account (via settingcs>account). I'm able to successfully navigate the add email, password stage of the process but just cannot get to the "Accept" button on the accept terms & conditions screen either via USB keyboard or controller or Shield remote
Can anyone please help solve this or confirm if they have faced similar issues?
Many thanks.

When I had a problem such as this I reflashed the entire system with a recovery package, but replaced the "system.img & recovery.img" with the modded version.
1. you need to sign up as a developer to download the 2.1.0 recovery package
Nvidia's download center
you will be be asked to log in or sign up as a developer which is completely free.
2. Unzip the package & replace the system.img & recovery.img with the modded version & boot into bootloader
then run the "flash-all" script
This should fix any issues you may have had
Thanks Xstar 410
Essentially re-install the ROM from scratch then....
I was hoping to avoid that but happy to give it a go
What beats me is that pretty much everything else works fine and I'm able to highlight radio buttons/ change preferences and such like using either the external keybord/ controller/remote or a combunation of the 3. It's only with signing into my account that I face a challenge - and that too on the last screen prior to login ...
started from scratch and flashed recovery image and flashed system.img from the Full Android v2.2 ROM - same issue - stuck on the sign in page . . . !
cannot get to the "Accept" button to proceed/complete sign in process .........
Any suggestions please?
Solved
Used a mouse - does the trick.
My daughter actually pointed out that I was being a bit silly by not trying out this option!
I should have mentioned that the remote & gamepad won't connect normally so you must use a keyboard & mouse for the modded version.

Thanks Xstar410.
Got there finally
Thanks Banderos101 - the rate at which I'm progressing, there are bound to be many 'big damn hero' moments
I just initially thought there was a connectivity problem which i had before & so that's why I suggested the reflash, but the only thing I could connect was the remote & NOT the controller...so that's the only downside for now.
