Hi. Today I wanted to flash my s4 I9505 device with this ROM http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s4/i9505-develop/rom-resurrection-lollipop-v5-5-5-t3195202 but at the end the problem has popped out. I had an android 5.0 lollipop don't remember which one exactly. First I've rooted my phone with odin 3.07. Then I've downloaded ROM Manager (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.koushikdutta.rommanager) from Play and installed recovery. It looked like this: http://www.pocketpc.ch/attachments/...ry-fuer-galaxy-s4-mini-gt-i9195-wp_000062.jpg. Then I wiped cache and data. It appeared with totally clear phone. Then I installed superuser from the recovery level and then problem appeared. The phone is booting up normally but after all the starting logos it comes with black screen and multiple crashed of Multimedia, Camera, Interface and so on. Is it bricked? I don't know what to do, I have to say I am kinda newbie. Hope that someone will help.

Great you got it working.
Just a small tip for in the future. Make sure you use TWRP recovery. CWM and Philz is outdated.

Hello!
I had my S4 rooted and nandroid back up. I was trying to install this link:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2316308
I installed it and gapp installed too and rebooted. I got this message appears
"System software not authorized by AT&T has been found on your phone"
upper corner in orange says "kernel Failed"
That means I did something wrong?
I read about odin. Does Stock rom get you back to fully stock?
Thanks
Did you run loki doki? see.your on at&t..locked bootloader and i dont think that rom is autolokied. Boot back into recovery flash ld.and see if it boots.
Yes odin will put your phone back to.stock, been there done that lol.

Ok, I been reading some threads about recovery, I didn't relieze, i was away from s3 so long. I just restored from backup data and it boots into this stuck Samsung screen with custom unlocked logo. Bootloop?
Havent seen that particular screen but yeah sounds like your bootlooped. If.you can three finger back into recovery and have a nandroid i would full wipe then Restore your back up (even though people.say restoring wipes anyway..id wipe.if u.are using twrp do not format data!).if.your still looped you may have to try and odin back to stock.firmware can be found on sammobile.com had to do this the other night due to a bad nandroid..lots of fun lol.

Thank you!:victory:
My heart dropped like fainting ghost after I see the at&t software showed up. I wiped factory reset and goes past the samsung with unlocked logo into at&t boot up like new phone. It took 5 mins to get into welcome screen. All is working.
Now, I begun to wondering why my logo says it bootloader unlocked and I download correct at&t rom is in? I use this causal download from this link:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2297900
I am trying to understand and pick my first rom. Was thinking downloading pure google rom. Had to read again
That mod.will loki your kernel, prolly why it says unlocked. I.have the.canadian. version..unlocked already thank.god lol.
A.simple wipe can work wonders..if you can get into.recovery and have something.to.flash most times your gona be okay.
Glad your back in.business!

Flash another kernel made for your device, or go thru the ODIN thing, your choice. this is for anyone who have that triangle.
Yes, I read some thread and the roms need kernel, without kernel installed which was has leaded me into that warning att screen. I tried again with roms above link with ktoon kernel and made it through. I was probably be dumb. Pardon me, lots to relearn here.
I own iPhone 4s but I went back to android.

You should be able to get rid of that boot screen with the lock on it by using triangle away. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1494114

delete em (un-install), junk, are you getting spam and such? Did you install those? Do you have any protection on your device? Just curious.
Thank you

I can't find them to uninstall them just to force stop and unable them. Not getting any spam but I have used 4shared and and downloaded some stuff that didn't work and just download to my storage. No protection for my device. Any suggestions? I haven't had an android since the mytouch on T-Mobile years ago and I'm still new to this.

Well
You confused yourself.
You shouldnt have reflashed the rom.
Well never mind..
Try a data+dalvik+cache wipe.l and see if it works.
If not then,
Try coming to stock rom and see if it works then.
If it works, then flash your desired rom first and whatever mod you want to have ONE BY ONE.
After every flash, wipe data, turn the phone on boot into recovery and then flash the second thing.
But never ever flash and reflash and reflash.

No need for the bounty brother...
But then check sammobile.com for the correct firmware of your phone and download only 4.4.2.
Not a version less. I.e DO NOT FLASH 4.3 or 4.2.2.
They wont work at all and will brick your device too..
So stay calm..download your 4.4.2 firmware from sammobile.com and flash it via odin ^_^
Nothing more in that..
Report if some error occurs again.
Plus if you are carrier specific as i can see...
This might work for you...

Haha..nothing great in that too..
●Flash philz recovery.
●deknox it first, then root it and then update supersu by turning the phone on.
●Now flash any rom by using philz ^_^
This long method is just to avoid complications..
Otherwise you can directly flash a rom via philz without deknoxing your phone..most roms a pre-deknoxed.

Yea I used that and I think that was the issue.. not sure.
i have the samsung galaxy s4 i9500. Ive only had the phone for about a month now. I decided i wanted a bit more customization so i rooted my phone. I had found out that you could get rid of all the bloatware on the phone so i moved some of my seemingly bloatware apps to user so i could remove them. Halfway through the process my sister canceled it on accidednt and my phone crashed. It is stuck at the blue glowing samsung logo. The device will boot into recovery and download mode. I was stupid and forgot to turn USB debugging on before i did somthing to my phone and now im stuck. Im not sure what to do. I have tried flashing stock rom using odin on a pc. Not sure if i got a bad dl or what. Im running 4.2 and could really use some help.
Thanks

Mate easiest way out is to flash stock 4.2.2 again from odin and start all over.....
PS did you try from recovery , clear dalvik and cache ......if not helping try factory reset
Your best option is to reflash a stock rom. A factory reset won't help because you deleted the apps.

You current stock rom?
If you were on 4.3 flash 4.3 or higher.
If you were on 4.4.2 flash 4.4.2.
Uncheck auto reboot. Let it flash and remain idle for 5 mins.
Then start your phone.
There can be no way this does not work.

Hi,
So...I have a rooted samsung s4 for att running stock android rom and i've been wanting the lollipop update and i was looking into cyanogenmod 12 but i am still very inexperienced and I got a notification for the lollipop update and i tried to install it (just saying i know it wasn't a good idea i had a bad feeling about it from the start) and it downloaded and said it had to reboot so i hit install and reboot. Ok, I'm trying to make sense of what your current device configuration is before I tell you what to do. There is no lollipop for the s4 and cm won't work if you're using safestrap. I'm going to assume you have safestrap and you're on 4.4.4. If that's the card you'll need to flash the nb1 tar file in Odin to get your device working again.
Edit, see this on how to flash the nb1 tar file and return to stock.
