Using this you can taste the preview build of Android 6.0 Marshmallow on your Moto G 2014. This method is very simple as compared to other one which lengthy & involves converting your device model into XT1069 model & later on flashing appropriate modem files. This method just involves downloading the TWRP backup, placing it in your phone & restoring it. No need of PC.
As this is a preview or "test" build of 6.0 it may contain 6.0 specific or Motorola specific bugs present in this ROM. You may face occasional lags, stutters, incompatibilities, force-closes, reboots once in a while on your Moto G 2014 model. This TWRP Backup contains system files of Brazil XT1069 which were flashed on Global XT1068 model & later backed up using TWRP 2.8.6.0.
This backup works on all Moto G 2014 models.Tried & Tested On XT1063 : Global Single SIM, XT1064 : US/Canada Single SIM, XT1068 : Global Dual SIM & XT1069 : Brazil Dual SIM.

Unlock Bootloader, Update TWRP : http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g-2014/general/xt1063-t3018818
Update Bootloader
By Flashing Latest Stock Firmware : http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g-2014/general/official-stock-firmware-5-0-2-lxb22-46-t3019612
By Flashing Latest Bootloader : http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g-2014/general/bootloader-update-t3060007
Steps
Go in TWRP recovery > Tap on Backup > Select backup location from top bar > Select "System + Boot + PDS" > Swipe to Backup > Go Back > Reboot to system. This process will create TWRP directory inside Internal Storage or External SD card depending what you have selected.
Download the 6.0 TWRP backup file (615MB) zip from here : https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B3k7qoMwi-L4d2RyRmIzNWQ0aFU/view
Extract the contents of the zip. You will see "marshmallow_titan" folder, open it & you will see "2015-11-22--20-17-22_MPB24.65-10" folder.
Using ES File Manager or a PC, go to your TWRP folder inside your Moto G2 where you have backed up your previous ROM.
Open TWRP Folder, inside it there should be a "BACKUPS" folder, inside it there should be a folder having your "Serial Number" as its name.
Open that "Serial Number" folder & copy the extracted "2015-11-22--20-17-22_MPB24.65-10" folder in this "Serial Number" folder.
Finally it should look like this : Internal Storage or External SD Card > TWRP > BACKUPS > *Serial Number* Folder > 2015-11-22--20-17-22_MPB24.65-10
Go in TWRP recovery > Wipe > Factory Reset > Go Back
Tap on Restore > Select the location of the copied "2015-11-22--20-17-22_MPB24.65-10" folder from top (Internal Storage / External SD Card) > Select 2015-11-22--20-17-22_MPB24.65-10 > Select System + Boot > Swipe to Restore > Go Back
After going back to Main Menu of TWRP > Reboot > System. It will prompt to install "SuperSU" > Select "Do Not Install"
Be patient, 1st boot will take a long time. Around 15-20 mins to boot into system.
Rooting
Do not flash SuperSU zip via TWRP to root this ROM. It will result in a Bootloop !
You need to boot into system first. This ROM needs a special boot image to be booted up previously & then any SuperSU 2.4x or higher zip can be flashed later on.
Root Here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g-2014/general/root-root-moto-g-2014-android-t3255711

Flashed XT1069 Firmware & 6.0 OTA Zip then backed using TWRP on a XT1068, will perfectly work on XT1069 as the firmware backup is for XT1069.

Thanks for your wonderful effort and sharing 6.0 here. Because Sharing is Caring ....

Installed it on my Mexican XT1064 and it works flawlessly. I don't really ever use SMS so it's all good for me. SystemUI Tweaker is excellent for removing the annoying quick settings tile for the non existent second sim in my model.

TV APP
For now it's all working fine.
Thank you!!!

Good Work!

The SIM card is not working. It recognized but doesn't work.
I already did the step 4 of this guide, and already did a factory reset, and still not working.
Can you help me?
I'm using a XT1069 here.

Thank you for sharing, I will try soon. I suppose that I can download and unpack the zip also with PC and copy the folder to the phone... I will try this way

Did you flash XT1068 Modem files on your XT1069?

Working fine. Just needed a factory reset (xt-1068)

Is this compatible with xt1063?

how to do it? my sim card doesn't work either.

Good, very good! 615MB hurts my ISP but I will try it for sure.

Nevermind, i just googled it. If your SIM Card doesn't work and you have XT1068 you just need to flash these modem files http://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g-2014/general/xt1068-retaildsdsall-modem-files-xt1068-t2965146.

Hey there, sorry for asking this, but will I lose my data if I install this? I mean, is there a way to keep my data without having to go through the tedious Titanium Backup process? Thanks in advance.

Just Flashed
Flashing it on XT1068 Indian. I will comment about bugs after using. A very big thanks for this :good:

Hi Guys, I will show how you update to Marshmallow B503 from kitkat or lollipop.
My Region: Middle East
My Stock FW: B132
No Root, or TWRP etc
Step 1:
Go to http://consumer.huawei.com/ae/support/downloads/detail/index.htm?id=62965
and download the B135 FW
Step 2:
Copy the dload folder to the root of your phone.
/dload/update.app
Step 3:
Go to Settings>Updater>Menu>Local Update and proceed t update. Backup your phone if required. I backed up, but nothing was removed after updation.
Step 4:
Once updated to B135, go to https://yadi.sk/d/W89LOzdMi5mdN/tl10
and download "b135 to b334" and "b334 to b503" folders/files
Step 5:
From "b135 to b334" folder, copy update.zip to /dload/ folder
Step 6: Update as Step 3 and now you have fully functional Lollipop
Note: This version atleast mine had no missing options like "Double Touch to wake", 4G Switching, Smart Gestures, Letter Draw etc. I had this issues before where they didnt work, look at threads: http://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-6/help/motion-controls-upgrade-honor-6-plus-to-t3215493/ and http://forum.xda-developers.com/honor-6/general/honor-6-ksa-uae-community-t3219450
Step 7:

Battery Backup may slightly Worse, but not bad. I have to observe for a few days more. I dont see anything wrong with Photo Processing, may be i am no expert. There is an interesting feature in Wide Aperture mode, 3D view, where you can have a 3D effect when you tilt your phone. That was cool.
Im on android 6 !
Can i use this for my phone ?
If i cant how can i root android m ??
Thx in advance !!!
I have the PEUL00 chinese version of this phone on EMUI 3.1 (Android 5.1); firmware version B351 downloaded from their chinese site; have anyone tried to run the update to Marshmellow at all? Do you think it will brick? Thanks.
I have the Pe-TL10,Chinese version, currently on 5.1.1, developer version.CUSTCHNC00672. Very nice, almost like MM, which is running on my Galaxy Tab S(Cyanogenmod 13....). Will hold out with this I guess, until the real MM update for TL10 arrives, cause I need the phone in working order 24.... : -)

Umm... are you sure? I might be mistaken but I think that Honor 6 and 6+ didn't receive any _official_ updates, only the ones sent to the betatesters. Your Marshmallow files are not on Huawei servers either, to me it seems like someone downloaded them from closed beta source and re-uploaded them.
after attempting to install it, the phone is stuck now in bootloader, what can I do, knowing that my bootloader is locked, and I was on the Russian B334 and I used the files the "Update.app" file and put it into the dload folder in the internal phone memory (phone sd card), interestingly, and the update process continued without errors but after restart it is stuck in boot loop.
N.B I didn't copy the other folder in the update file such as system, patch, META-INF and cust.
what I did wrong? and how can I fix my phone?
Problem in B503
Ok.. I updated to B503 15 days ago.. Battery recharging is very fast and it drains also little bit fast while in sleep state battery time is longer. Its smother and no issues.
But there are few things i didnt find in B503.
There is no local update option in updater and i just tried to go back to B334 via mentioned process and it fails.
There is no online themes in this software.
I heard about dual windows in marshmallow. I couldnt find in it

lol, haha, my bad.... l.aughing so hard right now...in H60-L04, B503 was lollipop
I was on the russian B334 and so I unzipped the update package from B334 to B503 and I copied the update.app to the dload folder and then I made the local update through the updater, and now the phone gone in bootloop, afterward I discovered that i had to NOT to unzipp the package and to put the update.zip instead in the dload folder, but too late
I tried everything, SD flashing by all the version that I know, such as B130, B135, B300, B500, B324, B332, B334, B503, and finally I flashed the new UAE B510, through the adb commands, ( by flashing the boot, system, recovery, userdata, cust) and it works good except that i can't turn on the wifi nor the bluetooth
any suggestions
N.B. I bout my phone from Saudi, but don't know exactly what is my original firmware version.

Which gapps are you installing , I never found any issue with gapps. Maybe you didn't wipe data, cache and system.
Just go to wipe > advance wipe and wipe system, cache, data, dalvik cache then flash.

Don't install the package you downloaded yesterday, it has a problem and was removed.
Delete it, [email protected] will upload the good version later today.
The TWRP error message, and the install instructions on the first post seem pretty clean to me : you need to "factory reset"=wipe all data first

Our device doesn't have a real device section, like flagship devices do.
We have a "tag" : http://forum.xda-developers.com/t/lenovo-a710
Dev threads cannot be created directlyinto a tag, i asked a moderator to move it under the tag seconds after creating the thread.
So it will be moved eventually.

Introduction
MultiROM is one-of-a-kind multi-boot mod for Nexus 7. It can boot any Android ROM as well as other systems like Ubuntu Touch, Plasma Active, Bohdi Linux or WebOS port.Besides booting from device's internal memory, MultiROM can boot from USB drive connected to the device via OTG cable. The main part of MultiROM is a boot manager, which appears every time your device starts and lets you choose ROM to boot. You can see how it looks on the left image below and in gallery. ROMs are installed and managed via modified TWRP recovery. You can use standard ZIP files to install secondary Android ROMs, daily prebuilt image files to install Ubuntu Touch and MultiROM even has its own installer system, which can be used to ship other Linux-based systems.
Features:
* Multiboot any number of Android ROMs
* Restore nandroid backup as secondary ROM
* Use for example Ubuntu Touch or Desktop alongside with Android, without the need of device formatting
You can also watch a video which shows it in action.
Warning!
It _is_ dangerous. This whole thing is basically one giant hack - none of these systems are made with multibooting in mind. It is messing with boot sector and data partition. It is no longer messing with data partition or boot sector, but it is possible that something goes wrong and you will have to flash factory images again. Make backups. Always.
Installation
Manual installation
Firstly, there are videos on youtube. If you want, just search for "MultiROM installation" on youtube and watch those, big thanks to all who made them. There is also an awesome article on Linux Journal.
MultiROM has 2 parts you need to install:
MultiROM (multirom.zip) - download the ZIP file from second post and flash it in recovery.
Modified recovery (recovery.img) - download the IMG file from second post and use fastboot or Flashify app to flash it.
You current rom will not be erased by the installation.
Download links are in the second post.
Adding ROMs
1. Android
Go to recovery, select Advanced -> MultiROM -> Add ROM. Select the ROM's zip file and confirm.
Updating/changing ROMs
1. Primary ROM (Internal)
Flash ROM's ZIP file as usual, do factory reset if needed (it won't erase secondary ROMs)
Go to Advanced -> MultiROM in recovery and do Inject curr. boot sector.
2. Secondary Android ROMs
If you want to change the ROM, delete it and add new one. To update ROM, follow these steps:
Go to Advanced -> MultiROM -> List ROMs and select the ROM you want to update.
Select "Flash ZIP" and flash ROM's ZIP file.
In some cases, you might need to flash patched kernel - get coresponding patched kernel version from second post and flash it to the secondary ROM sama way you flashed ROM's ZIP file.
Explanation of recovery menus
Main menu
- Add ROM - add ROM to boot
- List ROMs - list installed ROMs and manage them
- Inject boot.img file - When you download for example kernel, which is distrubuted as whole boot.img (eg. franco kernel), you have to use this option on it, otherwise you would lose MultiROM.
- Inject curr. boot sector - Use this option if MultiROM does not show up on boot, for example after kernel installation.
- Settings - well, settings.
Manage ROM
- Rename, delete - I believe these are obvious
- Flash ZIP (only Android ROMs) - flash ZIP to the ROM, for example gapps
- Add/replace boot.img - replaces boot.img used by this ROM, this is more like developer option.
- Re-patch init - this is available only for ubuntu. Use it when ubuntu cannot find root partition, ie. after apt-get upgrade which changed the init script.

The new systems are saved at /data/media/0/multirom.
The app is not supported, just flash the TWRP from here and flash the multirom zip, it's not complicated

I have flashed the latest TWRP from my PC via fastboot, but you can flash it directly from TWRP or using flashify. The MultiROM you can also flash from TWRP like any other zip file. The single ROMs must be flashed from TWRP. Read post #1. Everything is described there.

Multirom now works without any kexec kernel patch. I am using the no_kexec option, because I am coming from the previous version!
OP needs some changes
* you do not need app to install multirom. Just flash mutirom twrp and flash zip u will be fine.
* No kernel patch is needed. It works without kexec support
* Installing rom to USB otg doesnt work yet

If you want to flash this, just go to link given in top to read instruction, flashing procedures is not be like in mohan's roms and anything you try. Better to visit official lenovo ru link for more information.
[*]Flashing RROS v1.1UP rom (recommended boot2sd.img and System.img)
[*]Tick flash zip, flash system to system image, bootsd to boot
[*]After that, flaash recoveryN1
[*]target partition to recovery then reboot to recovery
[*]Flash addons gapps or download mini gapps, if you want root flash su
[*]reboot to system
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Upgrade from new build? Here
* Flash system to system img
* Flash gapps (newer version) and root (magisk or su)
* If you have mods on last build, flash it (Dolby, Magisk, Song Framewrk etc.)
* Wipe cache and dalvik
* Reboot
* Done
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Note!
[*]Dont go back from any old twrp, this might be removed your existing twrp recovery, stay on 3.1.1 by sevenmaxs
[*]If you want to go back to old twrp, just flash any nougat/marsh roms that not came from zormax (los13 is not like this), after you go back to other rom, you can now change your curent rom to gold or any you want twrp recovery build.
[/B]
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
New Fixes
Discover: 05-23-17
Problems:
* If you flash twrp gold in latest sevemaxs 3.1.1 twrp and youre running in RROS Zormax, your current twrp will gone after you reboot.
Fixed
* If you got this problem, just flash recoveryN1 (Replace name to recovery.img) via ADB, if you know how to flash the twrp just go, if you dont know search on tutorial on youtube.
Issues:
* TWRP 3.1.1 is the only custom recovery can support in this ROM, so if you replace or flash any recovery that not came by zormax, your TWRP will gone.
*
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
DualBootPatcher Support (Not officially supported by developer)
* If you have problem to adding this rom in Dualbootpatcher, you may add this in the end of build prop
Add "ro.patcher.device=A7010a48" to end of your build.prop,
save and reboot

Hi jason, glad you liked it !
Enjoy your new phone
Thanks works perfect! Just the mic that wont work on whatsapp, but its ok.
I have a LG-G3 D855 Europe version with 16GB internal storage and 2GB RAM
I read that the main camera doesn't work on the D855 (European version), is that correct?
What else doesn't work when Android 11 is on it?
I have a LG-G3 D855 Euro version with 16GB of internal storage and 2GB of RAM.
At the moment I have Fulmix ROM 6.9 installed (is Android Marshmallow 6) and thus also rooted.
So I could then install the new TWRP 3.5 and then the ROM Lineage OS 18.1 afterwards, proceed as described or do I have to pay attention to something else?
Thanks for the hints and tips
Installed... no WLAN on my LG G3 D855 with Lineage 18.1
Ok, now I've set everything up successfully, on my almost 7-year-old LG-G3-D855 with only 32 GB of memory and still a poor 32-bit device.
The WLAN settings required that I had to switch the WLAN encryption to WPA2 CWP on the AVM Fritzbox 6660 Cabe.
It's sad that such an Android 11 as Lineage 18.1 doesn't get along with normal settings in the Fritzbox as WPA2/WPA3. Didn't the developers pay attention again? something like that is allowed with Android 11 !!! not happen.
Even my old Fulmics 6.9 ROM could work perfectly with the Fritzbox 6660 Frotz OS 7.29 in 2.4 and 5 GHz mode, only Lineage 18.1 can't do anything with it. Already very sad.
But ok, I solved the problem and now the front and rear cameras work as well. I still have to look for an icon pack for the surface, the normal icons look terrible!
Glad you did it.
I don't remember having troubles with Camera.
I can't help about this AVM Fritzbox 6660 Cabe thing. I don't know this.
Hello friend, I have installed this ROM, but testing it, I verify that it does not record video. I have tried other apps such as Open Camera or even the LG Camera apk and the same problem still does not record video. At first I even did a factory reset to see but it still can't record video, do you know any solution or is it because it's the latest version of official Lineage OS that I flashed, what version does the video camera work with? Thank you.

I had Fulmix 8 and proceed this tutorial and it went well. I wanted Lineage because with Android 6 there are many apps that no longer run. The problem with Lineage OS is that the video camera does not record.
