Hi,
I have reported this thread to be moved to the right Q & A section where you might be able to get help quickly.
Good luck.
Hi,
To reset your device back to it's official status, flash stock firmware using ODIN.

Vivek.. download odin, stock recovery tool, and stock firmware from sammobile/ live-samsung update.com... remember last stock firmware was released on 17.4.15.. open odin, flash stock recovery tool, and then flash stock firmware...

Latest ones are:
I9500UBUHOI1 (Released on September 2015)
I9500XXUHOH7 (Released on August 2015)
I9500XXUHOI1 (MEA) (Released on September 2015)
Or use SamFirm to find the latest firmware.

I guess the firmwares available at sammobile are not stock ones as i used one and it had several bugs like: it automatically reduce the ringer level to mimimum again and again... plus battery drained fast.. and few others... however recently ehen i flashed the firmware having build date of 17.4.15, every problem disappeared. ..
Actually, all the firmware at sammobile is stock firmware. There were several notable bugs, including the battery drain issue, in early versions of Android 5.0.1 that were fixed in later releases.

i need the latest stock kernel for samsung galaxy s4 gt-i9500
the date of the kernel 26 november 2015
any one can help me to get it ?
Stock kernel, or do you in fact mean the baseband? If you need a specific kernel you should be able to extract it from a stock ROM downloaded from a site that offers them. Basebands can be found in a thread located in the General subforum.

OKx one? Must be. Because it compiled in November. But I have only Latin American one (UBUHOK2).
The best way is to extract it from latest firmware downloaded from elsewhere and flash it. Just a single note, because this firmware onwards now includes security patch updates on all side, you'll get bootloop if you flash it on stock-based ROMs that modified (either deodexed etc).

The kernel you need may be in one of these ROMs: http://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/database/GT-I9500/
I have an unrooted SM-N910G purchased directly from Samsung in Singapore
The last update I received was 5.0.1
N910GDTU1BOC7
3.10.40-5042088
Build LRX22C_N910GDTU1BOF1
I heard that newer versions would be rolled-out, but whenever i have the system check,
it tells me this is the last upgrade.
can someone tell me whether I am doing something wrong?
The roll out for Marshmallow has just recently begun. Some countries have received the update for Marshmallow eariler than some. The speed of the firmware update release depends on where you purchased your device. I am still waiting for the OTA Marshmallow firmware update for my UAE N910C. Just be patient, I'm sure you will get it soon.
No matter what Singapore CSC is selected, all of them got the latest 5.1.1 update in december, 2015:
XSP, MM1

You can use sammobile or updato site to download firmware (updato is much faster).
You can also use samfirm PC tool to download firmware even faster and is recommended.
U can pick any region like DBT (Germany) , BTU (Uk) ect.
Did u rooted your device perhaps?
I didnt rooted but I had flashed a zip file which was the android 9 and from then I don't get updates.
Hi,
So first I'll give the background of what I've done & then ask the question. I was on a custom ROM on my S7 Flat which was Pie based and I had updated the BL files prior to that via TWRP. Now I am from India so I wanted to go to stock firmware via ODIN and I had some old firmware which I tried flashing & got an error. I came to know that I can't flash older firmware as I flashed the July BL files. So I went to Singapore country stock firmware via ODIN as that had the June security patch which went successful. Now I want to go to Indian firmware but the latest one that's available is May over the web.
My question is being on a June security patch of Singapore firmware can I flash the May Indian firmware via ODIN? Will this cause any issue?

The basic knowledge is Samsung's Flashing depends upon binary if you have same binary Firmware as your phone or higher than your phone you can flash any regional Firmware.
