Change screen image when charging with power off - Nexus 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

The default charging screen for Nexus 4 when the device is powered off does not display the battery percentage. I am aware of Nomorepowah but this project is dead. Is there any way to change this screen to display the battery percentage?
Nexus 4 running CM 12.1 with Xposed
I can't post an image or url of the charging screen as I don't have enough posts.

No bites so far.
Does anyone have a suggestion on how to achieve this or how other phones and ROMs achieve this?

Battery Jump Issue

Hi Guys, I need your help to understand if anyone of you encountered the problem that I am facing now.
My phone battery is jumping up and down while discharging and charging.
I have even changed the battery but still the same situation.
Any insight will be helpful.

You are using the original charger. Don't use it.

Same issue here
I have the same issue.
Scenario 1:
Phone charging
reboot
battery jumps up by at least 5 - 10 %
Scenario 2:
Phone discharging
reboot
battery jumps down by 5%
Scenario 3:
Phone discharging
no reboots
battery stays at 1% for a very long time at the end of the day.
If there are no reboots involved then I would see sharp drops in the battery graph at the end of the day.
I looked into this issue and found out the battery circuit might be build poorly by LG for nexus 4.
I overcame this drain issue by:
- not looking at the graph often
- Installed custom kernel that allowed me to under clock to save battery.
If you are non-root then i would suggest letting the battery drain to the point where the phone turns off.
Then go to fastboot and let the phone drain more battery by leaving the screen ON. ( going to fastboot: 1) turn off the phone 2) press and hold the power and volume down button).

[Q] S5 battery problems & more

So I got this s5 a few days ago from my friend...moment I got it I noticed that it overheats a lot,for example 5 minutes of browsing and the cpu temp would go up to 70 degrees celsiu, also the screen got really hot.Yesterday I also noticed that the screen has a burn in,which is common for amoled, but then I thought that maybe battery is causing all my problems. Tried to charge it with original sammy 3.0 charger,it goes to 100% but never shows the green led and batt full sign. When I restart the phone batt goes to like 95-94%. So what do you people think?

How to Fix Bad Galaxy S5 Battery Life:
1. Find Apps Eating Up Your Battery
2. Disable Unnecessary Services
3. Restart the Samsung Galaxy S5
If you start noticing weird battery drain and or your device starts heating up, you should try performing a reset to see if that returns things to normal. Most of you know how to restart the Galaxy S5 but we’ll remind you anyway. Hold down the power button, confirm that you want to turn it off, and then hold the power button down to turn it back on.
4. Start Using a Black Wallpaper
There are tons of them out there. After you’ve downloaded one, go to Settings -> Wallpaper -> Home and Lock Screens -> More Images -> set your black Galaxy S5 wallpaper.
5. Start Using the Device’s Built-in Features
You’ll also want to start using the Galaxy S5’s built-in battery saving features. Power Saving Mode is a good place to start, and Ultra Power Saving mode is an even better option when you need the Galaxy S5 battery to last longer than normal.
These features allow you to block background data and turn on grayscale mode which can help to limit the amount of juice being sucked up. You can also slow down the processor, reduce screen performance, turn off the lights on the buttons, and turn off GPS to save battery life.
We also recommend getting familiar with the the brightness slider. The screen can suck up a ton of battery life so you’ll want to monitor the brightness of the screen if you’re starting to notice bad Galaxy S5 battery life.
6. Replace Your Launcher
If none of these fixes work, there are three other drastic solutions to try. The first is to replace the TouchWiz launcher on the Galaxy S5. The TouchWiz launcher has been known to hinder performance and it can be replaced. There are tons of different launches to choose from though the Nova Launcher is one of Android’s most popular choices.
7. Downgrade to Android 4.4 KitKat
If that doesn’t work, you could try downgrading to Android 4.4 KitKat. A Verizon Galaxy S5 user recently put together a step-by-step process on how to move back from Android 5.0 Lollipop and those interested can find the instructions here. This isn’t guaranteed to fix your issues but it’s worth a shot if you don’t want to wipe the device or if none of these fixes have an impact.
FIXING GREEN LED LIGHT
Go Settings -> Display -> LED indicator -> Charging has to be checked.
You can also try factory reset. This will fix all kind of bugs.
LED light is showing while charging...but only red LED,it never shows the green light even though the batt is full...this is just basic stuff that you told me...but anyway thanks.

Conflicting battery managers

Hi there. I have a Droid Turbo 2 (from Verizon) and after an update late last year I appear to have two conflicting battery managers. The phone shuts down at anywhere from 30% to 90% battery. When you push the power button to see the battery level indicator, a white screen with a vertical representation of a battery shows with the battery completely drained. This shows for about 2 seconds, then it goes away and a black screen appears that shows the current actual battery level as a partially drawn blue circle and says "Turbo" I believe at the bottom of the screen.
The phone cannot be restarted without connecting it to a power source. Based on this I believe that there are two different apps trying to control the battery level and protect the phone from running out of battery by shutting it down as a safety measure, and the one with the white screen is getting incorrect battery levels for some reason.
Is there a way to find these power modules and disable the faulty one? Or would loading a completely new ROM potentially solve this? I'm not sure how deeply battery monitoring and control apps are buried into the phone.

Battery percentage shown higher after removing from Pixel Stand

Hi all! Don't know if anyone noticed this on their Pixel 4 device.
Here is my observations:
I have Pixel Stand and when the change goes up to 90%, I remove the phone from the charger and at this time percentage increases to ~95 or so. At least this is what shown on my Pixel 4. After restarting the phone, it corrects itself and shows 90% again as it did before I removed it from the charger.
I think if phone is removed from the charger at 85%, the battery level is shown properly and not increasing. Mainly around 90% that is where the phone adds 5% over the actual battery level
I had this happen for about 2 months as this is when I started using Pixel Stand. I haven't seen this issue using cable charging.
