Has anyone been able to get this Dolby Atmos port to work on the Nexus 6p? http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/apps-games/mod-dolby-atmos-t3109446
I have tried installing it, but when I try to launch it, it then says unfortunately stopped.

I think you will have better luck asking OP who ported that app. He mentioned that it works on 4.3+; maybe not for 6.0 yet?

On my old gs3 i was able to use audio effects in spotify by going to spotifys settings screen; i guess thats missing or unavailable for the G2?
There's no audio fx installed. You need to get viper4android unless someone else reports something else working.

If you are rooted, and that is easy to do by the way, then I recommend Viper XHifi. Has made a massive difference for me, far better with it on this phone and my nexus 4.
There is also another Viper mod, that does more effects for the music too. Forgot it's name.
Run viper4android and you'll never look back. Amazing sound mod

o you mean the phone speakers? The main xda thread about the app has a link to the recommended settings for headphones & speakers etc.
I only use the headphone setting as don't listen to music without earphones on it.
is there any way to make them work together on the g2? ViPER4Android doesn't process anything while I'm listening on tunein, not even the dsp manager from cm works... but on my old s3 mini, ViPER4Android works great with tunein... so you know what could be the problem? hope you can help me.. thanks anyway.

I've got the exact same problem with my D802 - any suggestions?
