On my old gs3 i was able to use audio effects in spotify by going to spotifys settings screen; i guess thats missing or unavailable for the G2?
There's no audio fx installed. You need to get viper4android unless someone else reports something else working.

So we have low latency audio and USB audio as well, but what about real uses for this? I just sent an email to IK Multimedia, that makes the cool music iOS apps, and they replied saying that they still have no plans for Android apps or hardware. Any one knows something thats really happening in this audio related stuff, apps for musicians, etc?

Anyone have any advice for getting my audio quality up using bluetooth?
I have a constant crackling for all songs being sent to the receiver. I'm using play music and eos4 doesn't have dspmanager for me to tweak ****
Thoughts?
BT
this works good for 1 ear Bluetooth devices
Go to Google Play Store and Search:

[MOD] [N7] BEATS+XLOUDER! 4.1.2/4.2.1 [07/12/12] JB Louder Audio Improvement Patch
This is what the original dsp mod evolved into. Has some nice settings for compression and other stuff that should hopefully help you out.
Are you using cm10? I get the same issue on this ROM . At first I thought it was my Bose speaker but I downgraded and haven't had that issue anymore.

Its CM10.1. From what I've read changing lpa.decode from "true" to "false" in your build.prop should fix it.
Personally I just flashed back to 12/27.

if i just add the line will it make any difference?
Currently i have been using just DSP manager and poweramp. My previous setup was Viperaudio and poweramp and that was a great but i often foudn the audio glitchy at times and Viper was taking up too many cpu cycles asswell so had to ditch that. Curious as to what setup u guys are running
noozxoide works best for me with noozy

Voodoo sound and Poweramp makes for a epic audio experience
Voodoo sound paired with n7player is my go too nowadays. Newest 2.0 version is glitchy but thankfully you can get the older version on play store as well that's flawless on this old phone

DSP
I was just curious, I am already using the DSP manager's w8994 tab to modify the wolfson DAC setting, will switch to Voodoo sound change much for the sound quality or it is the same thing as using the DSP manager's w8994 tab? Thanks!

If you are rooted, and that is easy to do by the way, then I recommend Viper XHifi. Has made a massive difference for me, far better with it on this phone and my nexus 4.
There is also another Viper mod, that does more effects for the music too. Forgot it's name.
Run viper4android and you'll never look back. Amazing sound mod

o you mean the phone speakers? The main xda thread about the app has a link to the recommended settings for headphones & speakers etc.
I only use the headphone setting as don't listen to music without earphones on it.
So I installed rage rom, it's working well but the integrated audio mod isn't working. I set it to compatible so it should work with power amp, which is what I use. After playing with the controls, I hear no difference in the sound. Am I missing something?
