Stack with BLUE and PINK Screen! - Huawei Ideos X5 U8800

I was trying to upgrade to 4.0 official and in the process i made a quite noobish things i've accidentally deleted some of the files in the image folder after i pink screened
What i need is if anyone got the U8800 pro boot.img / recovery.img and the rest sub files and META-INF of a gingerbread 2.3.5 i used to have the stallion version that looks like a 4.0 but its actually a 2.3
If anyone can upload those files he could save my phone!!

Just found the answer!
http://www.mediafire.com/download/b3qkwulqemswxfq/Froyo_GB_image_folders.zip
in here there is backup for image folder 2.2 and 2.3 but i think it works only for the Greek version not sure if its for the international or generic too!

[Q] Firmware save help plzz!

Any 1 help me plz! i wanna backup my firmware without kies!
I need a video guide, saving firmaware and update my phone to Kyrillos' ROM v2.2 Gingerbread Edition!
Thanks all!
I also like to know how to backup the original firmware before i am flashing to a custom ROM, but i can't find a solution for this problem.
hope someone knows what to do
I think you can't. Only if there's a way to look in your system folders using your computer. Maby you can copy your firmware files from your system to your sd Using a file manager (like bluetooth file manager or androzip or something)?

Atrix Custom Backup For Each Sbfs

Hi,
I readed this
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1041572
then I had an idea that is just simple
I got tired with my att atrix for many months now we can't flash any sbf on that phone.
I suggest that people dump data and system files and all other folders for all the sbfs that are shared.
that is as simple as it is, after that we just need to update the folders and files over the old ones.
I will also try myself to extract contents inside the .smg files of sbfs using linux but I can not garantee it will work since I don't know what is the real file format of current atix smgs right now.
I will create a shell script that will do the job easily and I need people that have Bell atrix, Europe Atrix, Latin atrix or Asia Atrix.
If we succesfully overwritte those folders and files on our phones, I'm pretty sure that future update will also work since update.zip is just looking for right files on the phones and not checking for 1init bootloader version.
Who would like to participate and try?
for those who have questions, feel free to ask me
extract sbf
rename CG57.smg to system.img
use kitchen to make a update zip
or
make a nandroid backup
use system.img from clockwork/backup folder
use in kitchen to create update.zip

[Q] Need help modifying system.img

Hello everybody... I was off for a few weeks and now when I'm back I suddenly felt like doing something new... and when i was looking into some folders that i had from my Android SDK i noticed something named system.img in my level 8 android platform... previously i was enthusiastic to install first google apps in virtual android in my windows then try to install a Custom ROM such az OxyGen or CM7.0.3.... so i guessed that system image must contain the files to do this... over a lot of search i found the tool to extract it.. I extracted it with UnYaffs... the i injected(!) the google apps APK from the latest zip (20110613) file... and something i wondered about is that you can extract from an Yaffs archive but you cannot create one in Windows.. SO I FIRED UP MY UBUNTU....(!!!) and created the image... then transferred it to windows made a backup of the original system.img and replaced mine... before that having all my virtual android machines deletd(I mean wiped from my system!!!)...As normal i created a AVD(Android Virtual Device) from my modified platform... everything went right and it created successfully but when I was starting my AVD everything suddenly changed into bad... It's stuck on the TEXT saying ANDROID... i mean the first text not the second graphic that is Android's name in iron like gray-blue color....
I don't know what has caused the problem.. anyone got his hand dirty on this system.img file?
I guess it might be from that it must be Yaffs1 but i created a Yaffs2 archive... didn't I??? but since I haven't got any Yaffs1 archive maker for ubuntu I can't test...
And I'm sure that the system.img is created fully and not partly... because I UnYaffs-ed it many times and the files do contain in it...
AnY HeLp??

Which rom you had?
Here in the forum there is the original image folder and for 2.2 and for 2.3 original roms.
Use searce to find them(will be on general and/or developing section).
When you find them just boot to pink screen, connect device with usb cable and replace the files of image folder with them.
I wouldn't worry too much either. Just do as the previous post suggested and you'll be ok, or just update the original rom back and start from the scratch.

Error in your zip
@Zotmen
There is a big mistake inside your flashable Zip
What is your mistake ?
open your zip go into system/vendor folder
you put all files here, that is your mistake these files should not be here.
make a new folder named lib inside the vendor folder, this is the place where you need to copy all drivers files and folder
it should look like this system/vendor/lib/ and you files....
i updated your zip and attached below, please update your link also..........
Will this do any improvement?

Thank you friend, updated!
Warning for XZ
Big momma Bootloop (softbrick) after flashing the updated mod on Xperia Z stock rom .292
Proceed with caution - nand backup first.
Boots boot.img but it wont get past that into system. Sony logo>>bootloop
[also it's safe to custom restore system and boot (so data stays the same) - if you have an older nand backup like i do ]
