Galaxy Tab 4(SM-T237P) dropping WI-FI connection - Galaxy Tab 4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi, so I got myself tab 4(sm-t237p) and at first everything was working fine. I stayed connected for days, and all was good till I decided to root the device. I downgraded it to 4.4.2 kit-kat and got the root to work, but now I get these random disconnects. Sometimes they happen every 5 minutes, sometimes I stay connected for hours. I have tried setting the IP to static, and also commented the RO-carrier in build-prop. Didn't do squat. Anyone has any solution to this problem? I also removed the root and upgraded to 5.1.1 thinking it would solve the problem. It didn't.

[Q] Wifi and bluetooth will not turn on

hi guys, for the last day or so I have been having some issues with my atrix. It started with not being able to get connected to some of my bluetooth devices and now I seem to not be able to turn on Wifi or Bluetooth at all. Bluetooh just pauses for a second and then doesn't turn on while Wifi actually says "Error" I am unable to modify any settings under wifi.
I am running the latest Gingerblur, I have rebooted several times, uninstalled any apps that manage Wifi or bluetooth and even tried pulling the battery. Any advice?
Ugh Update: I just factory restored it and still getting errors.
Currently in the process of downloading the SBF and re-flashing. I will update this thread with the results for the next guy that has this issue!
Downloaded the 1.5x sbf flashed it, same error... Ps At&T Tech support clearly don't know much about anything...
Problem appears to be hardware related I have been sent to motorola for troubleshooting. UGH.
Thanks
I am having the same issue as well IF THERE IS ANYONE OUT THERE PLZ HELP!!!!
I am also having this same problem with my Atrix that I have only had for about 4-6 months now. Bluetooth pauses, and Wifi says "Error" underneath it. This happened shortly after AT&T/Motorola provided the 2.3.4 Update for my phone. I have unlocked/rooted/and ROM'd with CM7 and still continue with the same issue. I would really appreciate any help that we could get to resolve this issue.
I too, have this issue. I tried all sorts of radio's and switched kernels and roms and wifi and bluetooth will not work on any of them.... I initially thought the problem happened right after I switched to CM7, but it's possible I just hadn't noticed the issue before (since I really haven't used wifi in over a month). And then while testing the power controls in the new notification drawer I noticed wifi and bluetooth didn't appear to be responding.

[Q] Issues after 4.4.2

So updated to 4.4.2 the other day. I was initially rooted however didnt use it to much so went back to stock mk2 via odin, factory reset, and cleared cache.
Anyways not sure if anyone else has been experiencing issues with the 4.4.2 update but I have. One of which is wifi was initially working as of yesterday and now no longer works at all, router works fine as I have my nexus 7 connected to it. I use my email a lot and the touchwiz email client after the update takes 30 seconds to 1 minute to load sometimes which compared to 4.3 is horrible slow.
Has anyone else experienced similar issues after going to 4.4.2?

[Q] WIFI not reconnecting after connection as been lost

Hello everyone,
I have been running stock since I got the phone a year ago. Last week I finally decided to go for a custom rom and installed CM11 M9. All seemed well, except wifi, which would disconnect from network after being out of range (as normal), but then would't reconnect to any network. Only a reboot seemed to fix it, but only temporarily. It would quickly connect to the available known network, but if for some reason that connection was lost, it was unable to connect to any network at all.
I tried a couple of the latest nightlies, same problem. Then, a couple of days ago, I decided to try another rom, and went with Mahdi (which is based in CM).
Guess what, the problem remains! I found out that, sometimes, if I turn airplane mode on and off, it would be able to connect. But this isn't always the case.
I flashed that "non-hlos.bin wifi fix" thing, all happy because I was sure it would solve my problem, but to no avail. This is ridiculous... I don't know what else to do...
This is driving me crazy and I'm losing all hope. I'm starting to think that I'll have to go back to that dreaded Samsung stock rom... may somebody save me from that!
Guys I solved it!!!
I thought that maybe my wifi settings were damaged or something, so I deleted /data/etc/wifi, /data/misc/dhcp and /data/misc/wifi, rebooted and voilĂ , wifi working properly again! Finally!

Wifi killer

Hi, my phone and everything else worked fine on my home wifi a couple of weeks ago, I got back home from a 10 day trip to Sydney yesterday, tried to watch a movie on Netflix on my chromecast to find that my phone was incredibly slow and the movie would never finish loading, tried my friends phone, same problem, eventually I worked out that her phone and my chromecast and everything else work fine as long as my phone is not connected, as soon as I connect my note 4 to the wifi, the whole lot slows to a crawl, I applied this fix http://forum.xda-developers.com/not...fi-channel-experimental-t3133527/post61307287 and the problem seems to have gone away, can you explain what's going on here? And is there a permanent fix? It's strange because I got 5.1 on my phone weeks ago and never had a problem. Any ideas?

WIFI Issue in LG G2 VS98039A 5.0.2

Hi there,
I bought a used verizon Lg g2 vs98039A with lollipop 5.0.2. The problem is that my phone is having wifi issues. Basically it keeps disconnecting after every 5 minutes or so. The wifi functions for a while then it stops receiving or sending (i can say that because the two small arrows under the wifi icon black out) and then it disconnects from that wifi by itself and then reconnects and works fine for a few minutes and repeats it. I tried the following things
1) First of all i deleted every saved wifi under the wifi tab and then restarted the phone and then reentered the password and the phone seemed to work fine for some time (usually less than a day)
2) Another thing I tried was doing the same as step 1 and also reset my router at the same time. (This worked better than the first one and its effect lasts as long as I dont restart my phone or router or connect to any other wifi device.
I also have two more problems
1) Sometimes the data connection stops working (usually works fine after restarting the phone but as I told restarting also disturbs the wifi fix i applied and hence it is again very frustrating)
2) I don't it is software related but my phone's GPS is just crappy I haven't seen it working without data. Please tell me whether its software related or just hardware.
Please help because this is really frustrating and it really irritates me. I don't really care about the data or gps issue but the wifi issue is very irritating. Please can anyone tell me a permanent way to fix this. Also note that my phone is not rooted and i have no idea about rooting. Please help!!
