Hi,
So my Galaxy S5 from Korea doesn't work on Wind Mobile because it is missing the bands 1700/2100. Is there a way around this so my phone can connect to the Wind Mobile network? Please Help!
Thanks.

Hello folks, has anyone in the USA using the Blackstone on AT&T network tested the AT&T mobile tv.
Greetings all
Is there a way to get an unlocked SGH M919V from Videotron to work with TELUS , the phone works but not LTE and if I enable it using the enable all LTE in the phone console I lose the capability to make or receive phone calls .
Do I need to install a different firmware and if so which one.
Thanks in advance.

Hi there..
All of you masters out there. I just jumped from an iphone to s4. And got this S4-SGH M919V from WIND Canada.
I am a newbee to Android. Now I have been searching if there is a way to enable LTE in my S4. I am facing the exact same problem as my friend posted above. I have tried enabling LTE through ×#2263# command. It does show an esterik infront of LTE bands once selected butttttt I cant make calls.
Now I think this is happening because Wind model of S4 which I have does not support the LTE band frequencies...
My question is if there anyway I can flash the modem firmware from T-mobile which apparently has all the LTE bands in it????
Will that enable LTE in my S4??
P.S I have not rooted or done anything yet with the phone. Just got it unlocked through Wind mobile.
Phone details are as folows..
Wind S4.
Device name : SGH M919V
Baseband : M919VVLUAMG1.
I am currently using wind mobile sim card with 4g speed on it.
I really need this LTE enabled. Because when I put a Bell sim in my phone. It connects data with 3g. Its not showing LTE at all. And when I tried forcing LTE with bell sim inserted, the LTE works fine but I lose the calls.
I would greately appreciate any guidence here. Thank you.

the answer...
Not sure if anyone still needs the answer to this but i just figured it out WITHOUT having to flash anything to the phone... phone is 100% stock except that its unlocked... Its the SGH-M919V from WIND mobile in Canada.. I switched over to Koodo mobile and LTE wasnt working... So open the dialer and type in *#2263# and hit AUTOMATIC and make sure theres a star beside it... before this only 3G would come up... Now LTE works!!! Good luck!
I have a note 3 n9005 and it wont connect to AT&T for data! I have done the region lock away and still nothing!! What do i need to do?? HELP!!!

Does the phone work for voice calls?
I think 4G/LTE is completely out of the question but 3G should work - you might need to manually set the details for the AT&T mobile data access point (and set network mode to to WCDMA/GSM).

Do you have an EFS backup? How did you root? How/when did this problem start?

AT&T LTE is on different bands and they use on N900A a custom modem (on 700/850/1700/1900/2100 vs. 800/850/900/1800/2100/2600 in the N9005). I remember that there was a bounty on making that work but I did not see anybody claiming it - search around for more details (I could be wrong and it could be about some other Note 3 model).

From what I have found is that hte n9005 lte only works on tmoble lte note AT&T
I got my SM-G900P phone Internationally and Domestically unlocked, and while I can get voice to work on a T-mobile sim, I am unable to get data to work.
I'm currently on the stock Sprint 5.0 rom, I have also rooted the device.
I have also added the T-mobile APN, and have the network set to T-mobile, but still no luck
I'm not sure what I should do to get the mobile data to work.
Wondering if I flash a T-mobile rom, would that brick the phone? And would that unlock the bands?
Any and all help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated
Thank you
bump for some help
I know Sprint operates on CDMA while T-Mobile uses GSM technology.
I don't know if the G900P has the hardware capabilities to operate on GSM LTE bands. But it is interesting that you got the voice to work!
Try this page. He had a Verizon (CDMA) phone and got it to work on the AT&T (GSM) network. So apparently it is possible, and your situation is similar in trying to use a cdma phone on a gsm network.

Thanks for the link!
I already had tried what he did previously, adding the APN, sadly that didn't work for me . And once I had unlocked the phone I enabled GSF and got the voice to work. But sadly that's the farthest I've gotten

Hi all,
I've been having a Sprint Galaxy Note 4 that is unlocked. I bought it unlocked already. My mobile service provider is T-Mobile. I have an unlimited plan with them. The issue is that the Note cannot connect to LTE network. The only option available for me to access the internet on the go is the GSM/UMTS option under the network mode settings. Using this option my phone can only connect to a 3g service that is painfully slow. If I try selecting the CDMA or LTE/CDMA option under the network mode settings the Note will not get any service at all as if there was no sim card inside of the phone. Therefore I can only use the GSM/UMTS option. Is there a fix for this or am I stuck with 3g service on this phone? Please ask me questions if you have any that will help me get to a fix. Thanks :fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed:

I believe the LTE bands in sprint CDMA/VERIZON CDMA are different. they are not compatible with T-mobile because T-mobile required completely different LTE bands and they are locked in sprint phones and they cannot be unlocked.
If you have N910V/N910P You will only get HSPA/HSPA+ 3G/3.5G with T-MOBILE/AT&T network.
My best suggestions will be you can swap your sprint with T-mobile note 4 because N910T has more LTE bands unlocked then any other note 4 models actually more bands then international models too.
