Indian Note5 First to get Marshmallow - Galaxy Note5 General

I can't post the image because of linking restrictions, but the roadmap Samsung has for Marshmallow updates has the Indian Note5 (SM-N920G) at the top.
Any fellow Indians digging the roadmap? How long do the carriers in the USA normally take to update to the next generation of Android?

Here is the roadmap:

I'm with Telus so I guess/hope it will be at the same time
Woah! Nice find!
So, first date for ICS on Tab 10.1 is May2012!
Hopefully this means WiFi model is a month or so earlier.
Finally, an exact date. No more time waiting everyday xD
I guess now one way or another my wifi tab will get a good working ICS by early June. Good news.
nice find , looking forward to May!
Oh...I'm sure there will be leaks.

I wouldn't bank on it, wifi only is still on 3.1 in Canada and the only carrier to offer an upgrade is Rogers which is ridiculous as Samsung Canada have not pushed the updated to wifi only Tabs nor have they said why they haven't

Firmware 23.0.A.2.106 rolling

Another small firmware update has been certified by the PTCRB for the Xperia Z3 Compact (D5803, D5833). The new update moves the build number from 23.0.A.2.105 to 23.0.A.2.106 (we told you it was minor!) Expect the update to bring small bug-fixes. We’ll let you know if Sony decides to roll this update.

Hoping this update will introduce something to root this device without unlock the bootloader... It will make happy a lot of people like me :/

the opposite is more probable
Hehe
Honestly, I feel the title quite misleading. There's no .106 FW rolling/available as yet and even .105 has been taken to the UK only...
Hence, suggest the OP to change the wording from "rolling" to "certified by PTCRB".
Yea, it was certified yesterday, may or may not actually "roll".

He even just copied the text from Xperia Blog.
Now .106 has started to roll in Brazil for the D5833:

I'm already on ANK5 and today new update was discovered.
Not much said in the release notes.
Is anybody aware of what this update is about?

Not a good sign for the rest of us.
Why not a good sign?

Because they are still adiment about pushing kit kat updates when they should be focusing on 5.0 this could meat it might be longer for the update to lollipop.
I would worry if it was a full ROM KK update. And now it's just 10MB patch.
Hope this won't delay the Lollipop.

After update if you find only change in csc than it must region specific update to address network issues etc. It has nothing to do with lollipop update.
Hello @wanam, I saw this post and wanted to bring this to your attention. Seems like there is a new ROM (NL2), however it hasn't showed up yet on the usual sites (sammobile/samsung-updates). Is there a way to dump it from the user's phone.
It could be update to support Gear VR sience Samsung start selling it outside States. Gear VR is listed on german, belgium, french Samsung portals

It is only on Exynos devices I think and adds support for Gear VR and some small bug/network fixes
At least that's what the 910U update did

MM update here!?!?

According to Sammobile, the N910t3 version should be reviving the update now. I have the 910T version but the server says it's at its daily limit and to check back again. The Note Edge also is receiving it, apparently. I have a good feeling that once the server comes back up the 910T will have it as well. It's not showing on Sammobile.com or Smart Switch yet.

Tmo Nougat

tmobile is testing nougat update now
Check in tmo updates page
I Twitter bombed them a day or two ago asking if I needed to go to Sprint for my Nougat update. Sprint seemed happy to chime in. Maybe a few more folks can chime in on Twitter or Facebook to help keep them aware of our wants.

1st step manufacter development and now 2nd step tmo test
TMO has been posting that its all their special apps, like gogo in flight, that is causing the delay. Those apps, however, are all found on other Samsung TMO devices. What's so special about the Note5 that makes it harder to upgrade?
Supposedly Nougat update for 920t (TMO) coming out today or tomorrow. Keep refreshing that software update check.
