Another small firmware update has been certified by the PTCRB for the Xperia Z3 Compact (D5803, D5833). The new update moves the build number from 23.0.A.2.105 to 23.0.A.2.106 (we told you it was minor!) Expect the update to bring small bug-fixes. We’ll let you know if Sony decides to roll this update.

Hoping this update will introduce something to root this device without unlock the bootloader... It will make happy a lot of people like me :/

the opposite is more probable
Hehe
Honestly, I feel the title quite misleading. There's no .106 FW rolling/available as yet and even .105 has been taken to the UK only...
Hence, suggest the OP to change the wording from "rolling" to "certified by PTCRB".
Yea, it was certified yesterday, may or may not actually "roll".

He even just copied the text from Xperia Blog.
Now .106 has started to roll in Brazil for the D5833:

hey guys
i found some news at japanese site
i think this is real SE ICS firmware...
So is the .562 firmware older/newer?
it's weird
submit .562 to PTCRB while release .457 as official?
Maybe .562 is for Chinese only, like 2.3 (.69) is only for germany. Some minor changes only, specific for country.
according to the table, based on my opinion that's a certification for the modem (phone, bt, wifi, and radio) ...
take note that on the Design Description was "Sony Mobile with Bluetooth Technology" and on the Specification Name: 2.1 +EDR, that means our we have bluetooth 2.0 and is capable of doing EDR specific bluetooth functions...
So what exactly is this Japanese site supposed to be saying? I mean it means nothing to us really coz Dude March 16 went almost a month ago ?????

I'm guessing .457 was the build sent for bluetooth approval, after which they can't change the bluetooth modules without recertification, .562 was the release build.
device name is Anzu_ICS in bluetooth qualified design detail
new device will release maybe it's gonna be xperia neo L or something new

Anzu is the internal codename for the Arc!
Long time waiting for a solution to mirror wp screen to pc/tv/projector. It Seems that currently there is no solution for wp (although we have seen it in Microsoft' presentations, and people from Microsoft have told us that due to Security reasons it can only be done with a device with an especial rom with that implemented).
Perhaps now that ativ s have been unlocked, it could be done. Any ideas?

I don't think its due to security reason but rather patent issues..
Anyway, it doesn't matter the reasons, the fact is that there is NO way to make a live presentation with your Phone, isn't it? Brrrr

Sad but true.
The current state of hacking is interop-unlock.
If anybody can hack the bootloader and custom roms are available maybe this feature can be enabled.
Wasn't the issue to do with drivers. I'm still not sure we can fiddle at that level

if some one can make this true

Get your **** together Sony. Stop delaying things so your new flagship which is pretty much identical except a few details sells more.
Let's not get ahead of ourselves, that's this particular carrier's schedule not Sony's.

I can't post the image because of linking restrictions, but the roadmap Samsung has for Marshmallow updates has the Indian Note5 (SM-N920G) at the top.
Any fellow Indians digging the roadmap? How long do the carriers in the USA normally take to update to the next generation of Android?
Here is the roadmap:

Don't visit https://xpericheck.com/ to check if there's an update for your device. It's got a CoinHive crypto-currency miner embedded in the site which will eat your CPU!!!!

Just went there to chk and it seems they removed it, probably thanks to you.
It was actually removed by the next day but I didn't feel the need to exonerate the site.

Doesn't come up on mobile though for me on 2 browsers I wonder how to see if it's active
I checked the JS earlier and there was something in there like "if !mobile" so it's desktop only. Doubt a phone would generate much anyway.

It wasn't cpu it was battery life that I'm concerned about.
