Never heard of Copperhead. Is that a normal custom ROM?

Less flashing and rebooting.
MultiRom exists for quite a while in geenral:

Ubuntu corrupts my backups, so I can't easily switch between Ubuntu and android roms with out completely starting from scratch. Duel boot would solve this.

[Q] when is android 4.4 officially on the nexus 4?

I couldn't find anything on the internet or YouTube to point me in the right direction.
itll be out officially when google officially releases it. only google knows when that will be. asking when its going to be will only get you opinions when the person giving the opinion thinks google will release it.
The rumours are "somewhere in the coming weeks". There's no official ETA. Best is to be patient. It will be there when it's there.

HTC stated the Google Play Edition HTC One would be getting 4.4 within 15 days of KitKats unveiling/release (October 31), so we should be seeing KitKat for Nexus 4 within the next few days. I don't think Google would want to risk alienating Nexus users any further by releasing an update to another device before Nexus devices.
Really?

I don't think when htc or Samsung ge's get there's will matter at all.
This is the new Sundar era. I reckon early in the new year, they will do everything to maximise their Christmas sales
Its just a matter of time now. Patience is a virtue

Nexus S F2FS

Hi,
I just wanted to know that if anyone working on implementing f2fs into Nexus S device.
It could extend this unit life until 2015...
Regards.
Are you saying that my Nexus S will die before 2015 without F2FS?
This can improve performance on our device but sadly on our development forum we don't have anymore active rom and kernel devs to do that

It makes the read/write a bit faster than ext4 (as per my understanding), but so far it's not widely adopted and requires both ROM and kernel support.. This is the main hurdle for our device as development is dwindling..

We could beg Legolas from the nexus 7 forum to add the nexus s to his f2fs rom converter. His app supports nexus 4, 5 and 7.

Also voted. I may be getting the nexus 6 as well but even so, if I had to chose I would prefer having multirom for the 9 than the 6. I have both the nexus 5 and 7 and only tried it once in the 5 and all the time in the 7.

Yeah, me too but since he will be getting both there is no downside to having it for the N9 first. Also because it's available first [emoji1]
