Hi guys!
I have very annoying problem. My sm 9005 is working ok when connected as Camera to my win10, but when i change it to multimedia to download my video, it says "the lasst device you have connected malfunctioned. I did everything that i found on the net and nothing worked....troubleshooting in windows, uninstall and reinstall of the drivers... nothing worked at all....
Please guys, help me on this, i need so badly and urgent to fix it

I don't understand conected as Camera or Multimedia. Can you explain yourself better or add any screenshots pls? Ty :highfive:
Install the Samsung USB drivers .
But its often a windows usb port/ driver problem or faulty firmware on the phone . Even can be dirty usb port or bad cable .

Drivers are installed, still the same Only ot this pc is this problem. Maybe my usb ports are bad. I tryied all usm 3.0 and 2.0 but noithing. All other devices are connecting to this pc and transfering data without problem

I used to upgrade my pc to windows 10 and had the same problem. Downgrade back to 7

No its not a Win 10 problem as such though reinstalling a clean Win 10 or 8 or 7 may fix the problem .

hi dno if any1 could help me but stell iv got 2 xda exce one with an borken usb and the over what says NO GSM wil it boots up jus the quseions off can the exce with the broken stell synk over bluetooth like instell software like u do with the usb and the one what says no gsm i droped and brok it so got replace parts and everthink works but that no gsm and phone things could any1 help ? thanks adam

yes iv tryed that last time n just tryed it agine, i try to update the radio c if that help but it cum up with an erro on the computer but updateing the ROM works
i read a fourm on here about the truble iv got but its a diftent phone n i think its kinda broke as i droped must did it damage but i dont know as im not a wizerd on this phones just do what i can read about them

PS on ebay theres USB fixers but on the bored it stel looks dammage (this is on about the usb foulty phone) what ones on the bored charges the phone if u know

If you haven't flashed the radio properly, then GSM won't work. Try flashing with a different radio (it takes longer than flashing ROM, so be patient). Try 1.18 or 1.15.
Yes you can install and sync using BT. However, I don't think there's any successful way of flashing ROM with a broken USB port.
Hello everyone, and sorry for my bad english. Yesterday i flashed some rom in my i5800 (kyrillos 10.5, MIUI-2.7.27) and i rooted my phone with odin. But all rom i tested got me some problems: doesn't connect to my pc via usb, doesn't work phoneutil *#7284#, doen't make me install applications, doeasn't read my contact when i click the first number (i have always to go in contact menu).
Can you help me? how can i solve these problems?

Hi ,
I seen that problem with other devices , if you replaced the charger , try from pc and with a new battery the problem may be a defective USB port in the phone ....they are easy and cheap to replace , take it to a repair shop and have it replace
