If this is in the wrong section or is inappropriate for this forum please let me know.
well as my title states, I recently started encountering a boot loop after attempting to root my device. As i tend to overreact when my tech gets twitchy I attempted to do a factory restore to remove the custom kernel, but it is still on the device. Is there any other ways to stop the boot loop from continuing? will reinstalling the stock firmware fix my issue? Also, I would like my device to be rooted if possible. I would like to know where I messed up in the process if at all possible. Thanks in advance for your responses!
same still im looking for soloution

Hey. Most of us have g928c,f,g,i and etc. There is T-Mobile s6 edge+ forum in two next station. I think you can find your way easier than finding it here. Good luck guys.

Hey,
I recently became the owner of a bricked Iconia a500 tablet. Beyond that, I don't know much about it and I cannot contact the previous owner...
The situation:
It will boot the the Acer logo, but it doesn't go beyond that.
I've searched this forum (and others) for ways to bring it back to life. A factory reset doesn't seem to do anything at all.
I can boot into recovery mode to load a rom, but cannot find the proper rom. CWM does not seem to be installed. I've looked for stock roms but none seem to work.
When I try and load a rom I will inevitably get a white triangle with an orange exclamation mark inside of it. Next to this is the android man.
I've found a few threads that purpose links to a stock rom, but a lot of them have file shares linked to Megaupload... which is.. well non-existent now.
Again, I can not tell you the anything about the current software.... if you know how I can find out that alone would be a huge help! = )
Many thanks,
Robert
This might be your best luck..
This flashed thru your computer adb.. apx mode..

Hey Erica,
Thanks for you very speedy response!
Well, I read a lot of that thread... lol probably more than I should admit. I followed the procedure but was unable to get a good connection via USB.
I was finally able to get it to register a Factory Reset thanks to that post. Had tried it a few times before... must have not been pressing hard enough?
Either way, it is stuck on Erasing Userdata... and Erasing Cache...
I saw that it was suggested it could be a hardware issue... What is your opinion?
Thanks,
Robert
I still think its a rom issue..
You might could try to download the rom again. and try again.. there is also another thread in the DEV section that does the same thing but differently you could try that or maybe posting there where a TRUE Developer might be able to help you..
I just repeat what i have learned from my own mistakes and read from others..
Sorry im not more help ..
Trust me Erica, you have been a great help! If I find a solution, I will update this thread with it = )
Thanks!
Robert
This is my first post on here, but I've used these forums before to root my S3 and at one time my current S4. My problem is with MF3... I used
this post [http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2387577] to root my phone once, but since I couldn't install TWRP or CWM, I thought I could downgrade the software version with Odin. Well, I was wrong, and I unrooted my phone in the process... Upon trying the same technique I mentioned earlier, it now says "permission denied" upon entering the first prompt <<cd /mnt/extSdCard>>
AND, I can't use Odin to factory reset. Using posts such as this [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hZTTTk7vbVM] doesn't seem to work either. When putting my phone into download mode, I pull up Odin, and select the file in the link (the software file .tar I think), it says it fails shortly after starting.
Really, I need help with two things:
1. Obtaining root access
2. Resetting phone to factory settings
I might not have to do a factory reset, but I've noticed my wifi will NOT enable since I unrooted and this is a big concern for me. I know that all my troubles are because the bootloader is locked (and I'm messing with stuff I don't fully understand...), which is why I'd like help obtaining root again in the final hope that Safestrap [http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2448925] is the answer I'm looking for so I can use my favorite ROM, LiquidSmooth!
PLEASE help me any way you can! I've tried to provide as much information as I can think of, but I'm new to this stuff, so bear with me. I have no real experience in rooting and whatnot, but so far, I've followed directions by users of this forum, so I have faith that there's a solution to this mayhem. Thanks for any help you can provide! =)
Your first mistake was not reading about what you can and can not do while on mf3. Your second was trying to put a recovery on. And your third was trying to use Odin to down grade your firmware.
I'm surprised your not having issues booting. The only way right now to get your phone back to normal is to see if best buy will flash the mf3 firmware for you
Edit, read this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=45359306

I guess you're trying to be helpful, but your condescending tone isn't helping. I READ everything, I just don't UNDERSTAND everything... The second paragraph actually provided some help, so thanks for that. I was just hoping for something I could do myself to re obtain root so that I can try the Safestrap method I provided in my original post. I will post a reply to the root method post and see if anyone can help me there, since that's my main issue is not being able to get root access back. I don't have any problems booting though, only when I boot into recovery mode do I get a loop in which I just have to get to the Samsung warning screen and select "cancel (reboot phone)". Thanks for reading this and providing some direction.

No, your main issue is that you don't understand what you are reading and you shouldn't be doing anything to your phone until you do. Dozens of people just like you pass through this forum everyday with similar issues because they didn't read or take the time to understand what it was that they did read. Someone takes the time to tell them to read and learn and they don't listen or think they don't have to. Then, they screw their phones up and come back here crying for help. So it's not a condescending tone, it's people getting tired of the same crap. You admitted that you didn't understand everything you read so why would you do anything to your phone before you do understand it? Can you not see the problem?
Hello everyone! I'm brand new to the forums so if I am breaking any rule or regulation, just give me a heads up. So, some basic information about my predicament.
- own a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 from Verizon.
- I use t-mobile network. Works great with no problems.
- phone was successfully rooted via towel root.
I was looking to get cynagenmod on the phone so I started looking up guides and such. Only thing I wasn't aware of was that carrier branded versions can't have their recovery flashed. That said, I used flashify and the clockwork apk. The app did its job, killed the stock recovery, but couldn't load the new one. Now the phone says error, no recovery when trying to access it during boot.
It should be said that the phone still boots and works normally but I really want to get the recovery working so I can at least try again the right way to get cynagenmod working.
My question is, is it possible to get my hands on the stock recovery for my phone and just flash it back to how it was? Basically, how do I fix this problem I put myself in. Of course, I didn't make backups. During the whole process, I figured "if I follow this tutorial word for word, why bother with backups?" look how wrong I was
Any help would be sincerely appreciated. I'm posting this from my replacement phone, not my note 3.
Hello, I am not a noob and I have been rooting phones for quite a while!
I was on an Android N ROM, WETA and tupac, with TWRP 3.0.2-1 working just fine.. all of a sudden I couldn't boot into recovery or into my ROM.. so I decided to say screw it and booted into bootloader and used fastboot commands to stock MTC20F.. flashed all of it except userdata, but I did format userdata at the end. I then rebooted the phone and I still cannot get past the Google logo.. it just reboots the phone everytime.. Not sure where I went wrong but being on Project Fi, I can't just go into a store and get a new phone.. So I a have a big issue right now and have no idea where something went wrong.. I would greatly appreciate some help or guides of how to go about fixing this.. I don't know why but normally fastboot always fixes my issue!!
sorry i did not read fully,
your pc does not recognize the phone during the boot at all?
There are some ongoing issues with reverting back from N to MM..... Not sure if you are faced with the same issue or not, but I know a few people are in your boat, with no resolution at this time.

Please note: If you decide to upgrade to Nougat, at this stage you cannot return to Marshmallow. Trying to downgrade to MM has seen multiple bricks occur. I don't know why this is happening but it's happening.

Hello there, I've searched on this forum some methods on trying to get out of the boot loop. Someone gave me this tablet and i thought that i would reset the device but it just ended up on a bootloop. I know that this device should probably be thrown out, but maybe there is a chance to use it. If you had a bootloop problem and fixed it or even bricked your a500, would you mind posting the exact thread here for me to read.
The links on this forums were mostly dead so if anyone can give working links please?
Thanks!

If it bootloops I think the best way is to use an update.zip to reset the device.
