This kind of thread have been opened before but i haven`t reached a conclusion based on their response.
So if anyone can confirm to me.
What kind of roms can i flash on an Galaxy S5 G900M?
Will it be G900F?
or i can flash any rom of various version?
I know that others versions of s5 have different band that are used by the countries because the antenna use different frequencies. So i'm in doubt.
Thanks for answering.

I am looking for an s5 that would support most custom roms available on xda. I ve seen so many models in the market, its really confusing. So far i ve ruled out 900 H/K/S.
What about the 900F and 900I? Are they KLTE devices?
How about you get on the right device page? This is for the LG NEXUS 5.
Wow that's embarrassing!
What is the difference between the Samsung Galaxy S5 SM-G900M vs Samsung Galaxy S5 SM-G900F? Im curious as to what makes these devices so different that one rom can't run on both of the devices. On the HTC One forums once you have a GSM based HTC One (Not dual sim) you can pretty much load any of the ROMs on your phone.(Tmobile,A&T,International) but here samsung has so many difference types.
I think you can install 900F ROMs on 900M .. you might just have some problems with phone funtionality but since 900F has GSM, it should work on 900M ..
You can always try by your self as long as you have a nandroid backup
I have a Samsung Galaxy S5 Metro Pcs (sm-g900t1) and i cant seem to find any custom roms that support this model , i heard from somewhere on this site that i can use the Tmobile custom roms (sm-g900t) since my phone is just rebranded , well i wanted to know if that was true. can i just do that ? or do i need to flash the firmware and change it to sm-g900t ? any help will be thankful.
As long as g900t1 and g900t have the same hardware internally, you should be good with using g900t ROMs
First of all pardon me if this is a noob question or is already asked, I tried to search a lot but couldn't find it so decided to ask here.
Now I'm using a Note 4 N910U and there is very little development for it, it has exactly the same specs and hardware as N910C and N910H or any other Exynos variants so is it possible to install a rom that is made for C/H variants on U?
any help would be great.:good:
Thanks in advance.
Going my the Note4 modem list, looks like at least modem hardware is different

Hello,
I recently bought a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 and although I definitely should've checked the model number I did not. My mistake. But I've come to realize that the phone is a Korean variant and as such I can't modify it and put custom ROMs on it - if you can, I'm not sure how.
I'm a novice on smartphones and putting custom ROMs on them, I've done it before on a Note 3 that I owned (Canadian variant).
Since there aren't any custom ROMs (that I can find) for the Korean variant... Is it possible I can somehow convert the phone to an international variant or perhaps force the process?
Thanks in advance.

I have an n910s too...
Tried almost all ROMS and this is the best one.
Good luck.
If you find a way to convert to international version please let me know how to.
Thanks.
Thank for the input but I'm going to be returning the phone and getting an international or Canadian variant, as I would like to use LineageOS on it or something similar. I don't want any ROMs that look or feel like TouchWiz.
