Has anyone noticed or felt that looking at other people's Notes makes your own note feel smaller? like, even though it's the same size, other people's notes look bigger to me.

If you are feeling small or not confident ...
Then shove a big fat mugen extended battery in the back with extended battery cover
... problem solved
No one will ever written your phone's girth

huh? not me, I don't have this feeling. Well perhaps they use a case which make their Note look bigger than yours if you are not using a protective casing?

lol...with such a big battery, the Note will definitely look like a brick which is the perfect term. People were looking in disgust when I used extended batteries in my past phones which made them looked bigger - since then, I had never bought any extended batteries - if I need juice, I take my 2nd stock battery with me.
Lol i get the exact same thing. I was watching a video of how to do some stuff on a note on youtube and thought the guys note looked bigger than mine.

ACTUALLY....
that's a well known medical condition commonly called Notus Envie.
Oh I just take out my work phone (iphone) for a minute and play with. Then my Note grows again..... ;-) then the iphone feels like a toy

Mine looks bigger!
Maybe i'm over confident / un-shy or something like that
Seriously, you guys should go to a psycologist
Lol at all these. Actually I've had the same feeling too, and done the double check. On a related note, when I got my Note I ended up going to Amsterdam two days later, and saw 3 Notes on my first day! Helped convince my (iPhone toting) friends it was the best phone in the world!

I work with wood and before I actually bought my note I made a mock up of it lol I know, how sad, same size, and even stuck a picture on it to replicate the screen size and drew a hardware button on the front. Still think my fake one is better lol only joking hehe.

You are very close! It is actually a well documented psyco-medical condition called "notusus envititis". Medical scientists are currently working furiously for a lasting solution. I doubt if they will succeed before a bigger screened device appears on the scene.
Q - Whats better than a Gnote?
A- Two Gnotes
I'm feeling it too, especially when I see girls with Note in the street and transport. It seems a lot bigger than mine...
The same thing happens when I look at 27" monitors at a store compared to mine at home haha
You got to have a big hand. Thats why when you see others hold their note with their small hands its look bigger...
Sent from my GT-N7000 using xda app-developers app
And here I was thinking that I was going insane. Seems I'm not the only one, I am normal, Yeah Baby!
I've got XL hands, so when I see girls/guys-with-girly-hands use it... I'm like man that's humongous. Mine never looks large, but it feels large with the TPU case on which I only have for the kickstand.
If Samsung shaved the bezels, made it thinner and added a kickstand... I'd be right at home. And if they trimmed it down a 0.1 inch, then I could do acrobatics on one hand ; )
So do you feel the same when showering at the gym?
Sent from my GT-N7000 using Tapatalk 2
same feeling. but then when I see my nepnew's S3, I feel happy n my G.Note becomes bigger.
Lol no you're not alone. I had the same feeling on the tube home last night. I own the Note in white and a commuter opposite me had the Note in black. His looked bigger when I looked at my own but then realised duh same device haha
I was wondering if anyone has found a waterproof case much like the Life Proof cases for the iphone and ipad (sorry for mentioning the i devices). I like the protection from water so I could use my nexus 7 while lounging in the pool, but really haven't been able to find something other than what look like fancy zip-lock bags, which i don't like because they cant stay on the device all the time, and they seem cheap. Thanks in advance for any help.
I haven't seen anything like this but am also somewhat interested in this as well. Would be something nice to have around when going on vacation to the beach or going to a pool party.

Just looked around myself and didn't see much. I would like an otterbox fully enclosed kind of thing.

You must be a ton of fun at parties sitting around playing your nexus, j/k couldn't help pokeing fun.
I'm trying to buy the new nexus 7 but without a waterproof case, I can't do it.
I'll be forced into this: http://www.lifeproof.com/shop/us_en/ipad-mini/lifeproof-ipad-mini-fre-case/
anyone find a functioning waterproof case?
I personally do not own a One but I did use my friends one for a few hours. This is what think, I found it to be a terribly made phone almost as if they ran out of time to make it and rushed or to production. The Sandstone Black skin is not nice to hold. It felt like sandpaper in my hands. With permission of my friend, I did try to sand down some soft wood and it worked. Button placement was nice but again felt badly contoured for a hand.
This is not a hate thread, this is my personal opinion.
What do you guys think of it?

I think it lags, hard to type on because touchscreen issues. It gets so hot while playing I can't even touch the display and have to abort game. The screen scratches super-easy. All in all I'm not very impressed. I came from iPhone 5S and bought a android with the most beefy specs I could find. Feels like an old iPhone 4 sometimes? Is this just android now? Is nexus 5 smoother?
If you own a big phone, then you can relate to this funny, short video I made
Link to the video: https://www.facebook.com/video.php?...834654164&type=3&video_source=pages_video_set
I understand that some people get made fun of for getting big phones but most of the time there is a very good reason. Like me I have huge hands and if I had something with a 5 inch or smaller screen it just wouldn't fit right. IPhone for example feels like its microscopic when I hold one.

That's gonna leave a mark, but your right, it didn't register on my humor scale either.
Even my colonoscopy was funnier
These comments are way funnier than the video
Now this is a big ass 7 inch phone http://wmpoweruser.com/new-7-inch-windows-phone-shows-up-at-the-hong-kong-electronics-fair/. To be carried with a suit case instead of a case
This thread is about as funny as a screen door in a submarine!

Awful.. You seem like a lonely guy. POF is probably what you need in your life. These videos aren't gonna work out for you and anyone who says your good at comedy is just being nice or is the type of person who laughs at dogs humping

USA Today also giving it a rave review:

I am so happy that this phone appeals to the mainstream.
This is what Android needed IMO.
Flossy Carter needs to get his hands on this thing.
Just fluff BS reviews so far.

The gizmodo one is funny. More of an op ed piece than review. Most reviews don't go on for a paragraph on how 'ugly' they think the phone is.
But hey, everyone is entitled to their opinion.

Michael Fisher seems to be giving it a mixed review on Twitter.
NY Times gave it a poor review today. Complained that it is slow with a poor camera. It appears written by a clear iPhone fan boy.

I love Gizmodo, but this review is kinda dubious. He states the phone is wider and taller than theNexus 6P. To me, it sounds like he's justifying why you don't need to upgrade from the 6P to the Pixel (which you don't)

I'm ok with him not liking or recommending it - that is his opinion after all.
But the way he wrote the article and it's tone was pretty amateur/immature if you ask me. Not what I would call professional journalism.
Although I like gizmodo in general, I'll be avoiding his future articles.

loved Wired guy's review:
"But I’m switching. For real. I’m turning off iMessage, re-buying apps, and warning friends that I probably won’t get their texts for a few days. I am a little worried about Google’s long-term commitment to this new hardware push (and the customer support that comes with it), given its propensity for killing products that don’t get billions of users. But I’m totally in love with the Pixel. I love this camera, I love Google Assistant, I love that I’ll get to use it with a comfy VR headset, I love that I finally get a version of Android that is both powerful and attractive. I love that there’s a kickass Android phone that (probably) doesn’t explode.
The immediate joke everyone, including me, made on Twitter after the Pixel launch was that Google made an iPhone. Well, that’s true. As it turns out, an iPhone running Android is exactly what I’ve been waiting for."

I have seen that it is glass as well, but a few reviews(Android Central specifically) have stated that it scratches really easily which leads me to believe its not GG4 if glass at all.
