Anyone on a rooted 6p seeing this? I unlocked this phone, installed TWRP, and then installed the N6PanglerM ROM. When an app request root, I see the box appear and I can grant or deny, same as always. But in my app drawer, there is no listing for SuperSU. When I go to the Play store and look at SuperSU, it says installed but the Open and Uninstall buttons are both missing.
Anyone have this same issue? Or know how I can get the SuperSU app to be visible?

All,
I apologize if this is a noob/repeated question..
I'm using an s4 with MJ7 on it. I have the latest version of xposed installer, and I have been able to install modules in the past, without problems. Now, whenever I try to install, I get the menu prompt but the install button won't work. I've tried installing via chrome, and within the closed installer. The problem is as if the button doesn't activate the action.
Thanks for your help,
Alex

You seem to be running a screen-overlay (probably dimming) app. Disable that, after that the Install button will be available again.
Yeah, I am using twilight. You were right, download button works again. Thanks!

SOLUTION
Nothing happens when you press install?
Its waiting for your root permission. Somethings wrong with your supersu or superuser. Reinstall it then try again.

He was offering a different suggestion in case the first suggestion didn't work for somebody else. I for one apprecieate the effort because I"m not running a screen dimming overlay. Thanks to that suggestion, I went in to my SU app and forgot Xposed. I rebooted and now the install buttons work.

If you mean you have to root again then yes, you need to re root. SuperSU will still be installed but not functional until rooted again. Xposed gets uninstalled. Gapps are still there also, but won't work until HDXposed is activated again.
I think you have to enable OTA before updating or else your Kindle won't update.

I've never experienced reboots enabling Wi-Fi, and I was constantly activating and deactivating it because Wi-Fi wad very unstable and stopped working at random times. With last update Wi-Fi stability, for me at least, was greatly improved. You should try updating and re root.

Towelroot still works perfectly fine to root the latest update.

I see towelroot icon in Applications, clicked on it, choose make it ra1n. HDX restart and that's all. How can i install supersu? What must i do?
Thanks for advices

You didn't happen to see the option to install superuser in the toolkit? Otherwise just get it from mobile one market or you could just hit that little search spot in the upper right hand corner and search for supersu and you'll probably find it.

Yes, i've tried it. But i always get this error:
Failure [INSTALL_FAIL_ALREADY_EXISTS]
PS: Because superuser was installed before so i can not install superuser. So went to Applications manager, uninstall superuser and reinstall it via KFHDX tool. SUCCESS!!! Thank you anyway
So, I just found out where the link was hiding. Working great so far.
How about if you click on the big (Greek) lambda symbol?

You have to go to SuperSu and unroot from there.
Setttings > Full Unroot > Continue.
Wait for it to prompt you to reboot and you're done
SuperSU issue
So... the root worked fine. I checked with Root Checker, and it's all good in the 'hood. HOWEVER, when I installed SuperSU, it tells me that the "Installation Failed"... second "however", though, is that when I run an app requiring elevated permissions, SuperSU pops up just like it should, and everything works. Very curious.

It's a known issue, as long as you have SuperSU popping up asking for permissions and your root checker shows green, I wouldn't worry. It happened to the wife's S5, and that was 3 months ago, and she's still rooted.
You could also try and re-dl the latest, I believe 2.01, in the playstore and see if that helps if you are that worried about it.

Yes. Once rooted, the app doesn't have to be installed.
I'm on CM13, I was rooted and everything. I had SuperSU installed also. But upon realizing that I didn't need it because CM13 had a root permission manager built in, I uninstalled it. Upon rebooting there is now no option to root in developer settings except through ADB and I'm no longer rooted. Is there anyway to fix this without reinstalling the OS and starting from scratch?

You are rooted, CM comes prerooted. Did you turn on the cm root manager in settings?
Additionally, SuperSU is much better than cm manager, you really should use it.

I did have CM root manager and root enabled in developer settings, but then the option went away and my apps are telling me I'm not rooted. I only have the option to enable root through ADB, as seen in the attached screenshot.

1) stop cross posting
2) you have 2 options. Reflash the Rom and hope it fixes whatever you did to bork it. Or install supersu like you should do anyway.

Sorry, I've been desperate.
I'll look to see if there are any new nightlies and flash them or reflash the one I'm on. Reinstalling SuperSU fixed nothing, although it works. A lot of my root apps (ES file explorer, SELinux mode changer) are still telling me I don't have root, although SuperSU granted them root permission.

I know that barclays used to crash if it detected root at all. I'm rooted using Magisk and if I add barclays to Magisk Hide, it opens for me. Don't have an account with them to test login but it's better than nothing. Also make sure you pass safetynet before you open it and clear app data before launching for first time

Hi.
I am also interested in the steps to get this app working on my phone as I have been unable to get past the start screen for a couple of months however it would be really helpful to have access to this app and it's features .

Don't use it no more but what I've done is had systemless root (magisk) then install the app that you want t hide, prior to opening it, click magisk, go to settings and show magisk hide, then check the box next to the application you want to hide.
Then start your app for the first time.

Not sure then mate. Must have been patched
What about temp unrooting? Yours be surprised how little you need root? Cant think of any other way.
At the moment I just use the mobile website.
Or there may be an older version of the app not susceptible to root checking or the methods the newer version of the app uses, I know my old bank Lloyd's did this. Old version worked perfectly.
Have you got xposed on your phone?
